Top 3 Rolls: shrimp tempura maki, spicy tuna maki, Salmon Avocado Maki (left to right)

I've been to Ocean Sushi a few times for mainly take out and dine-in once before. They are only currently take out. I recently got take-out and ordered the Kamikaze, Double Spicy Tuna and top 3 rolls (shrimp tempura maki, spicy tuna maki, salmon avocado maki). Sushi is always high quality and I've never had a issue with them. When I came to pick up my order, the worker was friendly and fast. They offer great lunch specials too.

Hands down best sushi I've ever had, for real. Every time we've ordered from here it's been incredibly fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I crave it all the time. I'd reccomend this place to anybody! Definitely DO NOT miss this place!

TAKE OUT ONLY! Drove here from Lynn based on a review that said they had great seating for any size party. Well not the case. Very frustrated!

not so fresh sashimi, these are the pieces we threw out coz the color and smell was it fresh

I was nearby and got some carryout. The restaurant is still carryout only as of August 2021. Our order included a sashimi combo platter with tempura yams and miso soup and a spicy tuna roll. Some of the sashimi pieces should never have made it out the door. The texture, odor, and color indicated some of the sashimi was not fresh... not only was it not fresh, we questioned the safety of the sashimi and opt to not eat certain pieces. It's been a really long time since I've seen sashimi at this low of a quality anywhere.... to the point where safety becomes a topic instead of flavors and ambience of the restaurant. I picked this spot based largely on the high yelp reviews. Reviewing the popular dishes as I write this review makes me realize that most of them are cooked dishes or rolls. There is off street parking

"So many rolls, so little time". We ordered these three items for takeout since we wanted to do a chill takeout night. Honestly, this was a little bit on the pricey end but it had great reviews so we wanted to give it a try. My fiancè really liked both sushi items, I loved the sushi burrito more. At a whopping $24, I was initially disappointed with the size but when I bit into it OMG it was sooo fresh and tasty. It had the thinnest layer of rice but a huge load of different fish, salmon, tuna, whitefish, yellowtail. $24 soo well spent! The siu mai miso soup was unique and very tasty as well, and they didn't skim on the sui mai. It was really good, but again a little on the pricey side but will come back.

Had the pleasure of trying this hidden gem in Elmore county. Menu is varied with something for everyone, portions are generous, & quality is amazing. Pricing more than reasonable. Warm & welcoming vibe with a sense of family & community, these folks will take care of you! Well worth the drive!

Ocean Sushi is our favorite sushi place in the Malden/Melrose area. Since the pandemic, the restaurant has been to-go only, so it's best to call and place your order before you arrive so that it's ready for you. We love the lunch specials, which you can get most days of the week, and come with a good amount of food at a reasonable price (ex. maki and sides like miso soup, salad, egg roll, sweet potato tempura). The poke bowls are pricier, but great quality with a good amount and mix of fresh fish and ingredients. I really enjoy the poke sunset with salmon, tuna, mango, and avocado over rice with spicy mayo mmmm. Pine Banks Park is just across the street from the complex that Ocean Sushi is in, so on a nice day you can take your meal over there and enjoy it by the pond. It may not be an ocean... but it'll do.

We love ocean sushi. This is our go to place. Lee is amazing and always friendly. The food is always fresh and they do a great job with our allergies. Highly recommended this place.

There's no sit in however it was clean, efficient, and fast services. Took me less then a minute to pick up my order. Best sashimi deals in town.

Space is small but homey - a little drafty by the door though so if you come during the winter, try to sit away! The menu has a great selection of dishes from appetizers to sharables to entrees. I highly recommend the full fish - fried and delicious. The hot pot soup is also super flavorful and great to split with a friend. Their papaya salad is also EXTREMELY spicy, be warned! Overall, I happily will return to this spot whenever craving Thai food. Good portions, friendly staff, and tasty food!

Fighting Fish Thai Cuisine is a small restaurant located in an industrial area near Encore Resort…read more Despite its modest size, the restaurant is cozy and air-conditioned, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal even on a hot day. We started with the pork jowls appetizer. They were flavorful on their own, but the accompanying dipping sauce added an extra layer of bold flavor for those who want it. For our main dishes, we ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup with chicken and the Pad See Ew at a medium spice level. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly seasoned. A word of caution: their spice levels are definitely on an authentic Thai or Asian scale. If you're accustomed to typical American spice levels, medium here may feel quite hot. I love spicy food, so the medium level provided a great balance of heat and chili flavor. My husband, however, found it too spicy. The Tum Yum noodle soup featured a rich, savory broth with just the right amount of sourness. While I really enjoyed the dish, I noticed that many of the noodles were broken into shorter strands. We also shared the Thai Chili Fish, which came with two large deep-fried fish fillets and a generous bowl of sweet and savory chili sauce. The sauce reminded me of sweet-and-sour sauce but with a stronger chili kick. The flavors were fantastic, although the presentation could have been better. The host/servers consisted of just two people, but both were friendly and welcoming. The woman serving us was especially funny and entertaining, which added to the overall experience. Overall, I had a great meal and would definitely return whenever I'm in Boston. There are several other dishes on the menu that I'm eager to try.

I forgot how swanky looking the place was, and that still impressed. -- Egg Rolls: Cradled in a wicker basket, crisp on the outside, celery, and pork on the inside, a bit dry, but good flavor. A little above average. -- Spare Ribs on the bone: Painted on every surface with a nice char to complement the glaze. A thicker cut than most. Just like last time, they looked like a reheat, but still had very good texture (tender, moist) and decent enough flavor. Above average. -- Pork Egg Foo Yong: A trio of thick patties flooded with light brown sauce. Good crispness underneath. Soft and tender with big chunks of pork that wasn't dried out. Good overall flavor from the fry, the onions, and the pork, as well as the sauce. Near-elite to elite. -- Kung Pao Chicken: A little different here, with much larger shreds of chicken, a little darker than most, less celery and peanuts than most, a profusion of peppers, and pleasing spiciness to the soy-based sauce. Very enjoyable. Above average to well above average. -- Peking Noodles: A little different, and in a good way. More of a fine shred than a crumble, much spicier, and a little gloppier. Good feel to the egg noodles. I don't get this dish often enough to compare, but I enjoyed it. No OMG moments, but no complaints. Solid lunch, flavorful entrees, and I departed with a higher opinion than before. Upping to 4 stars.

Come back with friends! This time we tried a few new dishes, all of which were delicious!…read more Beef Tenderloin with Roasted Pepper and Soft Tofu 燒椒豆花牛柳: This dish has been incredibly popular on the Chinese internet lately. I was surprised to find it in Boston - they really keep up with the times! Although it looks a little different from the Chinese version, it was still very tasty, and it was the only dish we finished! The beef was incredibly tender, the roasted peppers had a great smoky flavor, and it was savory with a hint of spiciness. The sauce was thick and very good with rice. However, the tofu was a bit rough; it wasn't made with soft tofu, which didn't quite match the overall flavor. Shrimp with Salted Egg Yolk 鹹蛋黃焗蝦球: The shrimp were very large, with a firm yet tender texture. The outer shell was fried to a crispy perfection, and it was served piping hot. The salted egg yolk coating was just the right thickness and very fragrant, but it became a bit too sweet and cloying towards the end. Gele Mountain Spicy Chicken 歌樂山辣子雞: The chicken was fried until crispy and had a delicious spicy flavor. A bit too spicy for me from Guangdong. Grandma's Style Mashed Potatoes with Crispy Pickles 老奶脆菜土豆泥: A pleasant surprise! The mashed potatoes were generally smooth and creamy, with a few lumps, but still acceptable. The seasoning was slightly spicy, and the crunchy pickles added a touch of sourness, freshness and flavor.

It was our first time here, and the first thing that stood out was the price. We thought Seattle was expensive, but this was on another level. The one highlight was the fried mushrooms, which we really enjoyed. Overall, for the price and the food quality, it just didn't feel worth it. Probably won't be back.
