The food speaks for itself; it's fresh, delicious, and prepared in a way that feels like the animal was respected from start to finish. The service is attentive and quick, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. The inside seating area is small, but when the weather is nice the outside seating is pleasant. I have yet to attend the omakase, but I cannot wait! This is the type of spot where you'd want to keep it for yourself because it's such a cozy and delicious experience, but you also want the business to thrive!

I was presented a box of 9 different seafood offerings: uni, toro, salmon belly, fish liver, raw shrimp & fried shrimp head tempura, scallops. yellowtail, and squid. The uni and toro were fantastic, and I enjoyed everything else except for the salmon belly. For some reason the salmon belly wasn't ultra creamy - maybe it wasn't thawed enough, which is a shame because I love salmon sashimi. Nevertheless, for the presentation and price I was really impressed with the variety. It also came with a miso soup which really warmed me up quickly.
