Not too often that you find Pho with great tasting broth. The atmosphere is good and it is quite clean. Didn't think I would find a Pho place in the middle of this side of town. The Pho is definitely a 10/10. Places like Pho Hoa chain are 7-8/10. This one definitely beats the chains. Always get the combination! read more

I have had ocean pho at the other locations but this one is by far the best one yet. I'm relocating to the area so it was nice to find a place for "my" comfort food! Plus there is a very sweet lady that works here also! She always has a smile in her face and makes the experience that much more enjoyable! They are not set up for covid and very unorganized. I waited almost an hour for my two items. When I walked in they said it would be ready in a little. I waited another 30 minutes and the man getting orders ready asked my name. Turns out they didn't have my order I placed online printed out! Once they knew I didn't get my food for an hour and already paid they had it out in 5 mins. I observed a lot waiting around for almost an hour. The man does not wear a mask. They don't wash their hands after handling money, and worst of all they would open the soup and put their fingers in to see what soup order it is. I have been here multiple times but after what I observed and the unsanitary practices I will not be back. read more

Place is nice and clean, spring rolls was great, and the spring roll sauce was even better. Problem was the pho, the broth had a strong cow odor. Smelled sorta like they had just butchered a cow in the cooking area, I've been to slaughter houses so I'm familiar with that nasty cow odor. Overall, the pho was tasty nonetheless. After finishing almost all the noodles, I found a huge chunk of beef in my soup. That might explain the cow odor from my broth. I picked at the huge chunk a few times, took a sniff, then a bite. It wasn't bad, tasted like fresh beef. I'm just used to having thin slices of beef in my pho. The large thai tea was a bit pricey. Around $4 and up. Pretty good pho compared to their sister restaurants. The pho itself was really good and we give it 4 out of 5 stars. we ended knocking off a point for the seafood pho ap Chao. It supposed to be pan friend chow fun noodles (dry style).....BUT we got a very soupy mess with noodles that was shredded to bits during the woking procress. It came out way before our pho. I would've rated Ocean Pho Yucaipa higher because their food is well prepared and tasty. There is a big problem with the online menu prices. All menu items are are 2 or 3 dollars higher than posted. The management stated "they haven't changed the menu ". This may not be necessarily illegal but highly unethical. read more

This place is pretty delicious Came here on a Saturday night and tried pho #15, the crispy fried wings, egg rolls, and pork banh mi (to share of course) everything was delicious and fresh. I was expecting this to be good Vietnamese food for Yucaipa but no, it was good for anywhere. The chicken wings had a great flavor but were a bit on the overcooked side, that's the only small negative. The prices are budget friendly as well. People seem to complain about the service a lot, for me it was fine. Maybe not as warm and welcoming as some places in the city but not bad. To me food quality is #1 when I go out to eat. As long as the waiter brings me my food and doesn't try to punch me in the face, I'm pretty much good. I will be back like Arnold. read more

Honestly hate to leave bad reviews, but I have multiple bad experiences. The owner is mean!! The last thing that really set me off was I ordered 4 Bánh mì for my family and asked for 5 small hot oils Togo. He made a big deal about it. I personally love hot oil, but he felt the need to shame me over 1 extra hot oil. The oil container is really small so it wasn't like I was out like to ask for a extra one. I was feeling like I was coming down with a cold. My stomach was upset, and I was craving chicken soup. I remembered that there was the Pho Restaurant down the road. I called in an order for chicken pho and orange chicken (for my daughter) and had her pick it up on her way home. I tell you, it was just what the doctor ordered! I was only able to eat half of the soup but it was probably the best soup I had ever had. I loved the fresh basil and bean sprouts. I think 6 months had past... lol ... anyway.. Looking at the menu, I'm happy to see selections on the menu. For this area this is what we needed, a restaurant with selections. Redlands lack a good Vietnamese restaurant other than the one down the street called Noodle 21. Noodle 21 is more of a fusion restaurant so their menu is limited. So I ordered the Bun Bo Hue on my first visit and it has pork blood, YES! And they had variety of selections which I like. However the soup was off. Next I tried their Pho and it was OK. Nothing spectacular about it. Same with eggrolls, spring rolls, and other appetizers. Maybe I'm just accustomed to the food now. I guess if you were craving Vietnamese food, this wouldn't be a bad place since they have variety of Vietnamese dishes. They do get busy at times so better go early. read more

Boyfriend had the orange chicken (decidedly not Vietnamese, still better than any orange chicken I've ever had). I had a shrimp noodle dish (forgot the name) SO. FREAKING. GOOD. I love coming to this place! The pho is delicious. I get the filet mignon pho and it's the best steak I have ever had. Some pho places have nasty tasting rare steak but this one is a little thicker. After we sat to order it took easley over 10 minutes just for someone to approach our table after our orders were taken it took another 25 minutes just to get our food except for me I waited an additional 10 minutes for my food while my family ate. Found a fly in my soup and ocean pho took the time to contact yelp and have my photo and review removed. That's how bad their cleanliness and business morals are. They still charged me full price for the soup and told me "flies land in the soup often in the kitchen, they have an employee who checks the soup for flies before it goes to your table". I never write bad reviews but these were the absolute worst spring rolls I've ever had. Litetally tofu and shredded lettuce wrapped up. No cucumber or carrots etc. just tofu, lettuce.
