I so love the food here! Both the Mongolian Beef and the Pepper Steak are some of the best I've ever had without question! Right now they are only open for takeout, but don't let that stop you, the food here is amazing! The staff are friendly, helpful, and really good at what they do! Oh, and the serving sizes are HUGE!!! read more

If you are wanting oriental food in Delta Colorado & see Ocean Pearl at a major intersection, just keep driving. You would be better to grab a sandwich at any fast food drive-in. They are super stingy with the vegetables. They try to satisfy guests' hunger with plain rice, flavorless fried rice and/or noodles. The Buddha's delight (all vegetables) had only a few veggies with little variety. Dark sauce was also flavorless. The Chow Mein (also only vegatsables) same story - no variety. The clear white sauce tasted only of corn starch and water without flavor or character. The egg rolls were the worst I have ever tasted. They were crisp on the outside but uncooked egg roll wrapper on the inside with almost non-existent filling. The cooking oil for deep frying was old, and it tasted old, almost rancid. The egg drop soup and the hot and sour soup were fairly good. I will not return to this restaurant and do not recommend it. read more

Great lunch specials and their shrimp supreme with a little spice is superb. All of their food is well prepared and low on MSG

Rice tasted old. Honey walnut shrimp was over breaded and sauce was probably sitting in a warmer too long and had gone to jelly. Food wasn't good at all! read more

Normally, I really love this place. But lately the customer service has went down the drain. They have great food but horrible customer service. Received wrong order they overcharged me and then didn't wanna give me a discount for having to go back and get the correct order. Big family at home. Kids were starving and nothing to make it right. read more

The food was brought fairly quickly. The orange chicken was mostly bread and no chicken, chicken lo mein was eh not much flavor. But that's what you get for getting Chinese food in an area like this read more

Probably the best Chinese food I've had in a while. Now I know what your thinking, "Really in Delta?" The answer is simply YES. When you pull up your gonna wonder if it's open, if its clean, if it's a Carl's Jr. Building, again the answer is Yes. Be brave, go in, the food is great. I promise you will not be disappointed. I had General Tso's chicken and it was amazing, crispy and spicy and sweet so good. My Boyfriend had the Mandarin Beef it was also crispy and amazing. No joke the food here is really really good. Properly flavored sauces, properly cooked meats and vegetables. No soggy over cooked veggies, here no way. The service was good also. Don't let the poor curb appeal slow you down Ocean Pearl is truely a hidden gem in Delta Colorado. read more

Ocean Pearl - Mandarin Beef - Chinese Near Me - Delta, Colorado

Been calling to place an order for over 30 minutes and no one is picking up. Goodbye Ocean Pearl and Hello House of Chin!!!!

Probably the best Chinese food I have had, and it was in Delta... had the mandarin beef, really great flavor profile. Haven't seen it on other menus but saw it here and was happy I did. Other dishes at the table were cashew chicken and general tsu chicken. Everyone was pretty thrilled with all of the dishes. I thought it was amazing and a little strange that the server came by with tiramisu bites for everyone at the table. They appear to be bought not made in house but I dont know for sure. Still a great treat and nice ending to meal. read more

There Won Ton soup is the best in town. I like to order it take out when I am in the mood for something a little lighter.

Good food but the place was FULL of flies. Hard to enjoy your meal with a swarm of house flies trying their damndest to land on your food.

Customer service was good, gentleman was very nice. Timing to refill drinks was perfect. Rice needed a little more soy sauce but was typical fried rice in the bowl. Ordered general chicken. Chicken was soft so that's an A+++ but it's supposed to be spicy and wasn't at all....it seemed a little sweet actually. The restaurant was clean and that is always a good thing. read more

Ocean Pearl - Having dinner at Chinese food restaurant for the first time here. - Chinese Near Me - Delta, Colorado

The buffet here is definitely a hit and miss proposition with limited selections which are brought out in small batches of the usual assortment of standard Chinese buffet selections. So, if you arrive here at peak service periods, you may be disappointed. As a result, I generally order off their menu and either eat in or take it home with me. Therefore, my rating for Ocean Pearl is for the menu dishes. To be brutally honest, this is not world-class Chinese fare but there is a decent selection of dishes from which to choose and the portions are adequate. That said, the restaurant is usually kept clean, their prices are reasonable and the wait staff are always friendly and attentive. In all, my experience at Ocean Pearl has been a fairly good one. So if you're in the area and hungry, you may want to check it out. Bon Apetité "Life's too short for bland food, bad wine, weak coffee or cheap whiskey."RS read more

I have eaten here a couple of times, and each time I had the lunch buffet. The food there is really kind of, well, "take it or leave it". I was not ever particularly impressed with any of the items in the buffet, but it is edible for sure. They offer both white and fried rice, there was a variety of your typical Chinese-style restaurant foods on the buffet such as sweet and sour chicken/shrimp, beef and broccoli, etc. The wait staff aren't exceptional in any way, but they are acceptable. The restaurant itself is rather clean, but the decor is a little stereotypical and outdated. Might be a good place to take your gran for lunch, seeing as how the flavor of the food is rather mild. read more

The secret to Ocean Pearl is to order off the menu. The Lo Mein tonight was fabulous and we have Shrimp Supreme aplenty for lunch tomorrow. Tonight they get an A+. read more

Ocean Pearl - Blossoms fitting the Orient. - Chinese Near Me - Delta, Colorado

The smell is disgusting as soon as you're walking in. It's like a mix of sewer with the hand soap they have in the restroom. We ate their buffet. A few of their options look as if they were made on a previous day and were just reheated. My family and I got sick after eating here. Some of the veggies in their stir frys tasted rancid. Our drinks took forever to come out. My husband ordered a Coke, by the time it was brought out to us, there was very little carbonation in it because of all the ice it had and probably because it sat in the glass for nearly 20 minutes before it was brought out to us. We asked for a new Coke with light ice. The lady refused to give us another Coke. This restaurant was once a favorite spot to have lunch for me, but throughout the years it's just getting worse. They lost our business. read more

The food here is great! Great service and full of great people! If you do come here, make sure to get the sesame chicken! The shrimp is one of the best cocktails I've had at a buffet. Overall a great experience. read more

Been going here since before they moved locations, only a stone's throw away. We always come in a big group and the service is still great. The food is delicious and never disappoints. This is a required stop every time we visit Delta! read more

Disgusting, found a cockroach in the bathroom floor. Broken restroom and just flavorless food no flavor what so ever.

This place is pretty good. My advice is get there early, lunch buffet is from 11-2. The egg rolls are delicious, and the wontons are great too. Its great if you want a nice quick, fulfilling lunch. Its clean, which is always a plus. read more
