If you decide to go to double dragon I highly recommend the family dinner (exclusive to 2+ people) for $17.95 you get your choice of entree, one of each appetizer, a choice of rice ,and a choice of soup per person. The service is fast and the food is always hot! The atmosphere is a homey feeling and my boyfriend and I love coming here for a date night!

Double Dragon is a charming, small restaurant that immediately makes you feel at home with its warm and hospitable staff. It seems to seat only a few dozen people, which adds to its cozy, intimate atmosphere. The menu offers a standard variety of classic Americanized Chinese dishes, but what sets Double Dragon apart is the quality and quantity of the food. I ordered the Kung Pao Three Delight, which featured a delightful mix of chicken, shrimp, and beef. The portion was generous, leaving me with plenty to take home. My only feedback is that the Kung Pao wasn't spicy at all--I wished it had a bit more heat. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the amount of food you get. If you're in the mood for delicious, well-priced Chinese food served by friendly owners, I highly recommend giving Double Dragon a try.

The sesame tofu was yummy and fresh! I also loved that it was in little cubes. The owner was nice. The reviews were iffy so I was a bit nervous but this place is solid Chinese-American food. Seems like the locals were all ordering takeout from here so I guess folks come back more than once which speaks to the tastiness of the food and the friendliness of the owner.

Very warm inside, and Gen Tso "Chicken" was very little to no chicken In most bites just the sweet batter coated on top of itself. Consistency and spicy was was perfect but wouldn't recommend unless you are looking for Gen Tso (essence of) Chicken. Staff was very friendly. Egg roll was good!

I ordered the General Tso Chicken, was so yummy and fresh- had a lovely crisp to it. Fried rice was also tasty. The mochi I had for desert was soooo good I would come back just for that. The service was very attentive and kind and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very cute with big windows and nice lighting. Show this business some love!!

Just wow! Ignore the decor, and the lack of cars in the parking lot. (lol) the food was effin amazeballs! It's what you'd expect from a hole-in-a-wall Thai place in the mountains. So yummy. My son eats a lot (and I mean a lot) of Thai food in the Los Angelas/Long Beach/Fullerton areas. We ordered our favorites and was so not disappointed. Seriously, he kept making sounds of food ecstasy (I'd tell him to shuSh, but we were the only ones in the restaurant.) Ü If you're passing through, or lucky enough to be a local, go here. Really.

It's right off the highway and doesn't look like much from the outside. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner. We sat down and took a few minutes to look at the menu. There isn't too many Thai restaurants we've come across in Colorado (probably not going to the right area) so we were really excited to see what they offered. We tried their pad Thai, red and green curry, Tom kha soup, Thai tea and coffee. As many people have mentioned, the spice is served on the side. I appreciated it though since our littles don't do well with heat so it was a nice option to have. Everything tasted great, not too oily at all. It may not be the best Thai food I've ever had, but it definitely hit the spot. I recommend this if you're craving for good Thai food around that area

Honestly, when I first heard about this place I had no interest in "wasting my money on low…read morequality, inauthentic Asian food in the middle of nowhere, Colorado." I am so ashamed of myself. Hold your judgments as this place offers excellent dishes made with high quality ingredients. The quality of sushi shocked me! The fish is so delicious, fatty, and everything you want in a sushi roll. Also, the curry was excellent. Surprisingly authentic flavors made with fresh, high quality ingredients. I can't wait to come back again! The service is also excellent with a very friendly and kind staff. Highly recommend.

So I'm always skeptical about Asian restaurants in small towns that typically don't have Asians. In talking to the person who works here I found out that the owner and chef are Asians. The chef is actually Malaysian also so I was intrigued. Anyway, we ordered a bunch of things to try and were overall pleased with it. The only thing I wasn't so impressed with was the Tom Ka Gai soup. It was fine but it lacked a certain note and flavor profile for the soup that it usually comes with so I think a certain key ingredient was missing. My friend had not tried the soup before so she did like it. I liked the Pork larb dish I got which had a good mix of salty, sweet, spicy and sour flavors. They also treated us to chicken adobo which had just come out of the oven and it was amazing! I prefer an adobo that isn't super vinegary and this fit the bill. The sauce was also reduced more so I liked it a lot. The pancit noodles that came with was very good too. Had a good chat with the owner and chef: pure Asian hospitality!

The restaurant was moved because a larger kitchen needed however we didn't know where. Now we found it. It's much larger and menu looks expanded. Nicky decorated and cozy. We were greeted by Trevor who sat us and waited on us as well. He was always available for any questions we had or service needed. We got a couple beers and ordered. I had shrimp pho and my wife had chicken pho. The taste was incredible ( I also enjoy a good pho ) and portions just right per size. We were attended to make sure our needs were met. Pawnee ( spelling ?? ) greeted us and thanked us for stopping in. She is the owner. She made us feel welcomed and special customer. Another couple of customers came in while we dined. We seen them get something from a cooler; so I asked what it was. Sticky rice with blueberries. I asked for one ( I've had sticky rice in Thailand before ) Trevor treated me to a serving. It was just like I remembered. Definitely will be back to dine again. If you're in Salida make it a point to stop in.

It may look small from the outside, but it's quite the restaurant inside. It's spacious and there's even a stage....maybe for kid's performances or karaoke night. I was really looking forward to Asian food, so my expectations were high. Since it was such a large group and ONLY 1 waitress, orders got lost and mixed up, and the wait was long! I was hungry, but also understand that one waitress helping us would take a while. Unfortunately, some were not as patience and had a little 'tude, so I apologize for them. I had the beef pho, since it was a cold night. There were tons of different orders, but my pho was okay. It was kind of warm broth instead of hot and who puts carrots in pho???? That was weird to me. We weren't offered all the right herbs and mints that usually goes with it, but assuming it's in a small town they don't have access to them? It wasn't the best pho I've ever had, nor was it the worst. Just not authentic. Also, it's combination of Southeast cuisine - a little bit of Vietnamese, a little Thai, a little Chinese, and from what I remember only ONE dish that was Cambodian. Everybody on our end of the table was not happy with their food. Some of the ladies weren't happy with their Thai Tea and sent it back. I didn't try it, but the owner came out and questioned it. mmmmm.....I wouldn't questioned why a customer didn't like it just because you made it. You should asked why didn't you like it and how can I improve. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and bellies didn't go home happy. Oh, the food took so long to come out some left. It was disappointing.
