I was in t own on a Wednesday and only had 2 hours to get my nails done in between meetings. So to google I went and found Ocean Nails. I walked in and was immediately greeted and sat within 1 minute and they started on me few minutes later. They were quick on my toes and hands but a little too quick. My feet are are good (she took time on cleaning the nail beds) but my hands are average at best - shape is my biggest issue. It did look like the hot ticket item was eyelashes and henna brows. I have been going to Ocean Nails for pedicures, eyelashes and eyebrows for some years .Today I came back for eyebrows because I waited too long some weeks ago and left. Today, it was the same wait that I had before, I watched two other customers leave. I still waited for about 30 minutes. JoAnn finally called me to the chair and left me there while she went to take a bite to eat. I didn't know what was happening until I asked someone to get her. She came back, another customer went right to the chair next to me and JoAnn told me I would have to wait until she finished her. I said, " I've been here way longer, this lady just got here". Normally I don't like to leave reviews but stay away. I literally got my nails done last week. Not even 5 days later my pointer finger lifted off. My thumb nail on my left hand is already separating as well During the process of getting my nails done I asked the girl to cut my cuticles. She told me I should have asked for a manicure on top of her doing my nails. I thought cutting cuticles were standard in doing nails. My nails are horrible. I had to keep asking her to fix things on my nails as she was doing them. After she claimed she was finished I just shook my head and was like forget it because I didn't want to keep arguing with her. Please stay away. They rush doing your nails and don't actually care about your nails under it And for anyone that tries to dispute my claim I can show a receipt on when I in fact for my nails done. read more

So I'm giving three stars because I HATE getting my nails done there but I LOVE getting my eyebrows done there. Joann is something serious with them eyebrows, she does not play! She will have you getting out that chair feeling and looking like a whole new woman... I get real boujee when she get done with my eyebrows! lol Now the nails don't do it for me. Every time that I get my nails done from there they never last. They are either peeling or chipped within a couple days, even if I get gel. Also parking can be a headache depending on what time you come. read more

They were extremely disrespectful both times. The first time they asked me over and over if my kids had the same father. He was sitting right there. After that she blurted out oh wow. While all of this was happening there was a confrontation with a lady and a nail tech arguing about how he messed up her nails. The second time I came with my mother and they were extremely rude pointing at her feet. Not to mention the nail quality is subpar. After a week my nails started coming up. HORRIBLE. I knew better but I was in a rush and wanted a basic pedicure. Cheap brand of nail polish-- all of the colors looked like white-out, nothing flattering. When you ask for a color, the tech has to go in the back to get the polish. When she applied the first color it was so ugly that I had her remove it off of the couple of nails. I tried a different color and it was WORSE. I can't believe this place has the nerve to charge $29 for mediocrity. I left and went to a nail salon in Atlanta for a color change. I go here strictly to get my eyebrows done by JOANN she does brow tinting and lashes as well. She is the best at brows in this area, she threads,tweeze,and wax! Which give the cleanest and most precise arch ever! Just so u know I have thick eyebrows and one thing I don't play about is my eyebrows! So if I recommend someone please listen!! I'm here from LA CA looking for a nailshop that does good work on eyelashes, threading, mani/pedicure. After reading reviews I chose Ocean Nails, not a good choice at all. The lady doing the threading with the old used looking thread around her neck, with every attempt to thread my brows it broke, it looked liked something she pulled from the hem of clothes just raggedy & overpriced. The eyelashes & glue are cheap and overpriced. The techs doing my mani/pedi both did not pay attention to the details, I got a very short set of Nails for my 6 day vacation, on day 1 the Nails are snaging my hair poorly done and then 2 days later the pop offs began. I don't mind paying for what I want. I hate being overcharged for poor service/products. They should stop receiving new customers because based on the reviews these are their regulars. I would not recommend or refer anyone to this business. Price gouging is an understatement for their services. read more

Went here a few times. It felt like I had to micromanage to get my nails done properly. However the last time was the last straw the nail tech I got did the bare minimum. I get the dip done on my real nails. And the edges of my nail was exposed under the dip on a couple fingers, and she didn't see anything wrong with that. I kept having to ask her to fix it. Also I had to keep asking her to shape it the way I asked in the first place. She asked who did I see the times before her, because that seemed relevant at this point I suppose. Felt like I was a bother. Anyway the end of it all is a few days later the aforementioned nails broke. I wasn't surprised. I won't be returning. Neither should you. read more

So where do I begin ? The terrible hospitality or the fact I waited two hours to get my nails done and never got them done . The WORST customer service I have ever experienced from this place. I came in at exactly 4:37 to get my Nails done and I continuously had multiple customers who had came in after me who were serviced way before me . Its a shame they only cared when I was walking out to check and see if I still wanted them done. There shouldn't have been any reason why I had to go through that especially since I asked plenty of times who was doing my fullset after an hour passed. I felt as though I had been pushed aside and forgotten about . A woman came in after me and ask for both a pedicure and manicure and was serviced to me when I had been sitting in station 4.
