I came to get a pedicure. I do like how this location looks. It's very esthetic and clean inside. I was seated immediately For Saturday afternoon I was surprised how empty it was and my pedicure was good. I did have to ask for them to scrub my feet a little extra. I got a buff at the end instead of getting my toes painted. It was an extra $7, which is a lot in my opinion. they do hand buffs, So I'm assuming that's where the extra cost comes in. I do like coming here but I don't like always having to ask for some basic things like the water is too hot, please scrub a little harder/more, make sure you get the corners. My SNS broke and the top coat was stuck on my naile beds not just one several. It took a long time to figure out what design I wanted and it was downhill from there. There is no creativity art or gifted work here . At least non that will last for what you paid for. This was lesson learned. I've never been to a nail shop like this . First , in the waiting area you a have massage chairs , then they offer beverages . But the most impressive was my ingrown situation. I've battled ingrown toe nails since I was a child . But ANNA is the toe whisper. Also I had a fungus pocket under my toe that I was not aware of until she took the polish off . She literally did one day surgery , removed the ingrown , cut 1/4 of my toe nail off , dug the fungus ,soak my foot in alcohol and have me the best massage ever . Anna is the GOAT. My nails were done by Katherine, who seem to be a medical professional of sone sort . She was very knowledgeable about feet , nerves , fungus and treatment. I decided to come to this salon because it's in a nice location and overall beautiful place. However, most not all, the nail techs are horrible. I've gone multiple times in hopes that my messy nails were just the result of an off day, but no. I don't think they are truly licensed. 4 days after my gel manicure I went to another salon out of town to fix the mess they made and the nail tech literally said "this doesn't look like our staff's work. Please tell me you didn't get these done here because this looks like rushed work". Word to the wise, everything that glitters isn't gold. So I came here because my normal salon was closed so I decided to try this place out. This place is honestly very beautiful, clean, and quite fancy. I definitely would've rate it 5 stars if the young lady that did my pedicure hadn't scraped off my skin. It hurt a lot and made me bleed. She was definitely being too rough with the scratcher. Never again! Came to treat myself for a pedicure and sns on my hands. The pedicure was mediocre, but the sns dip for my hands was horrible. Quoc, who was working on my hands, did not seem to know what he was doing. I made it clear that I did not wish for my nails to be too thick and to still keep a natural look to them. I came in with a nice almond shape that I expressed to Quoc that I would like to stick with. I was told that I would need to add tips to 4 of my nails because they were too short (but then he later filed them back down to my length I came in with). While using a regular board nail file, I was cut three times. When he applied the sns powder, he flooded my cuticles with the dip base, causing the powder to adhere to my skin! I expressed that I was not happy with the shape he left my nails with, and i guess the tech next to him could see how upset I was, only for her to step in and make matters worse. They then rushed me out and refused to fix anything. If you were thinking of coming in to get your nails done, please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go. read more

I thought I would give this new nail salon a try, but I don't think I will be back. To begin, the Spa Manicure and Pedicure does not mean both are "Spa" treatments. You pay $5 more for Spa Pedicure. Water was Cold and I said it's cold so she added hot to rest of the tub...still Luke warm. Lady was very rough when doing callous removal and scrub, to the point of making me say "ouch!" and rubbed the skin off my heel! The place was practally empty so she wasn't being pushed to get to next customer. She was simply not very experienced. Zero starts was not an option. I'm not sure which is worst, the quality or the customer service. I got a full set and two nails cracked within a week. When I went back for repairs, the guy that did them was clearly new and inexperienced. He glued his finger to mine, and continuously nicked my finger, causing a small cut. After all of this, I was still charged $10 for the repair. I tried to give this place a fair chance but the service is too inconsistent and they act as if they're doing you a favor by servicing you. My cuticles even look like trash so the mani was bad, SNS is uneven, top coat not fully dry, shape crooked. And they really say there and acted like they didn't see it/I was being difficult. My boyfriend and I both just got gel manicures and they came out very nice! They had an awesome selection of colors ( maybe because they're new though) The woman who did my nails also convinced me to get my eyebrows done which also looked nice. My eyebrows grow uneven and she was able to shape them so they matched. I only took off a start for customer service. She said something to my bf that made him a little uncomfortable at one point, can't really remember what it was, but yeah. Over all good experience, will return. I have been supporting this business for over a year regularly every other week. The last time I went I had an experience that confirmed I will never go back. The woman doing my manicure (an older woman with sandy brownish reddish hair color) and dip color was so rough my cuticle started bleeding. It hurt for days after but when I said something, she tried to convince me it was the color. My color was gray. I told her she was being too rough and she dismissed it. She is a supreme narcissist for gaslighting me but it didn't stop there. I felt something on my leg while my feet were in the bowl and when I looked down, her nasty bare foot was sitting on the side of the bowl with no shoes on. To top it off, when I looked down, her other foot was sitting in my flip flop!! This nasty woman then proceeded to ask me if I wanted my eyebrows waxed! Since she was almost done, I let her finish my fingernails and ignored her poor attempt at upselling me. I guess she finally got the hint. She left and the young lady painting my toes apologized. She did nothing wrong but apologized on behalf of what she clearly knew was wrong. They really don't deserve Linda. Finally, the business gives you a redemption card which I filled that visit and the manager on this particular day (a young guy) did not even want to redeem my $5 off coupon. I guess this business doesn't expect you to fill it, which translates as ungratefulness and really poor customer service. I asked for a replacement and without even acknowledging me or my question, spoke in his language to Linda and I was left to assume I would not get the new card. Hesitant at first because of the first three reviews but decided to make my OWN opinion and experience. I'm SOOO GLAD I DID! This place IS beautiful! The environment is CHIC and MODERN hence the name The Nail BAR. There is a nail polish bar set up that imitates a restaurant bar and from the floors to the counters; everything was CLEAN. My nails were painted with BRAND NEW nail polish!! The nail tech assessed my nails and toes and then made PERSONALIZED color recommendations based on my nail shape, length, cuticle, history, work environment and what I felt comfortable with moving forward. My mother lives in the area so that is how I found this WONDERFUL PLACE. I am starting a NEW routine with my mom and that is to drive from Buckhead (45 min away) twice a month; to get my manicure/pedicure at THE NAIL BAR and spend time with my MOM!!!!!!!! FYI: the lukewarm water review- Henry County has a safety ordinance to protect you from getting scalded and/or burned from high hot water temperatures. Therefore, businesses that use hot water in Henry County are ONLY allowed to raise their hot water temperature to what the COUNTY has deemed SAFE! Anything ABOVE that temperature would be AGAINST county laws. FYI: if you have dust on yourself from removal of a previous nail service, blow it off. I'm sure you've experienced dust prior to this salon. If you don't like it, soak your nails off at home prior to going to the salon. You will save yourself money by not paying the removal fee and you won't have dust. Or don't get a service that requires a nail drill for removal. That equals dust. You are aware of that. FYI: if you are not satisfied with your nail shape or polish, let someone know. I didn't like mine so when I went to checkout, I ASKED for someone else to do it. I did not want to PAY for a service I wasn't truly satisfied with, so why did YOU? Taking time to write a negative review and post pictures takes an AWFUL LOT of MORE time than simply ASKING for a redo while you are there. YOU MAKE YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE. Service is horrible. Manicurist have less than 3 months of experience. And the are cutting corners with the dipping powder. They claim to use SNS dipping powder but they really are using Chloe powder with SNS polish base. Very cheap products but charging for SNS pricing. My index nails broke one day after I got them done while I was on a business trip. I had to use nail glue to salvage the nails. they specifically told me that I could get it fixed for free and I come into the shop the next day and everyone acts like they don't know what I'm talking about. They begin to say that it's my fault that I broke my nails and then I have to pay for them after they told me the previous day on the phone that I did not have to pay. Clean appearance, the nail tech had a nasty personality. I had gel nails and wanted to switch to SNS. I asked could I start soaking my nails now instead of waiting till she finish my pedicure. She said no her hands were wet and than started speaking in Chinniese than her and the man next to her started laughing. The pedicure she did the polish was too thick and my toes looked horrible. I told her I didn't want the SNS nail. She spoke to the manager in Chinniese. The manager never asked what the problem was nor did he act as if he was concerned. In addition, durning the pedicure I advised her that the water were to hot and she ignore me. I had to turn the cold water on. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
