The staff was very kind in talking me through the options and helping me decide to stick with regular polish. The results was a beautifully shaped manicure, a pedicure to match, and perfectly shaped eyebrows. The interior is nicely decorated, and this is one of those nail shops that serves beverages with a service, so I had a hot ginger tea it was absolutely exactly what I needed and delicious. My only complaint, is that I was not given the advertised Bday discount. The website says there is a 10% birthday discount that never expires. When I asked about a discount at checkout, my nail tech was unaware and very kindly went to inquire. One of her colleagues came over and input a five dollar discount, which was definitely less than 10% of my bill. Overall, the service was great, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the wait was short. It's a little out of the way, but I needed my nails done right. I had a guy technician today, and every time I have a guy, it's fast and I like my nails. I just had my nails done not even 10 days ago at the shop by Publix on E. Atlanta road, and I was right back the next day with a cracked SNS nail. She jigga- rigged it and the day after that, it broke and caused my real nail to split and I had to pry it off, and wait for it to heal a bit so I could get them redone, and the rest of them kept snagging people's hair. I don't have time for that type of nonsense because I need my nails for work. My clients have become so accustomed to getting a shampoo with my nails until I consider them a necessary business expense. I have been getting faulty nail services a lot lately, and having to go right back for repairs the next day after spending $80. There was once a time when one Asian nail shop was as good as the next, but now you have to be as picky about your nail tech as you are about your hairstylist. One day I'm going to find and train some good nail techs and add nail services to my salon. In the meantime, hopefully I can keep getting what I want at Lush or else I'll be driving out to Lithonia.

I was greeted as soon as I entered. There were a fair share of clients in chairs and waiting to be seen, but I did not have to wait too long. I decided to get SNS again, because it lasts longer and I want to keep my nails colored until I grow out all the spots. I picked a color (G401) and the technician Tara started applying that color. However, that color looked nothing like the display. I showed Tara and she agreed. She said that sometimes the display colors are old and get darker. She did seem a little annoyed that she had to remove the first application from my left hand and start over, because I did not notice until she had dipped all five of my fingers. Nevertheless, she did remove it and I selected another color. This time the color (3047) was as displayed and I was much happier. Tara made some small talk, and took her time. I did not feel like she rushed. Overall, I am happy with the look, the experience and the cost. The only negative is that it was quite warm in the salon.

I said fine I asked for square square I still got square round I asked them could I pay for a massage at the end I wanted a massage ... I did not realize at the beginning of the service rendered that they even did the massages where you could pay for 10 minutes or more if you wanted I mean it was like I was begging her to pay her to do a massage for me and she still did not want to do it nor did anyone in their establishment? She asked everybody there. One woman was just watching something on her phone she looked irritated, fanned her off and said she had a client coming forget about the client that was standing in front of them. They just paid over $100 as long as I was standing in there talking trying to get someone to. Do a massage for 10 minutes. It's not like I was going to get it for free. I'm paying for a service that they offer just like I have paid over $100 for my toes and nails and was treated poorly because the young lady that did my nails ignored when I asked her a question and just continue to do what she wants to do they treated me as if they were doing something for me for free or doing me a favor when I am paying for their services. Not only did he do an amazing job, but he also took the time to explain things about nail care that I had never known before. You can truly tell he loves what he does, and it shows in his work and the way he connects with his clients. We laughed the entire appointment and had such a genuine, fun conversation--it made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Anthony, thank you again--you absolutely rock!
