Decided to get my nails done again since they look like crap from a tragic SNS removal from another salon. I did check Yelp for reviews first this time and landed on Nail Bliss. I was greeted as soon as I entered. There were a fair share of clients in chairs and waiting to be seen, but I did not have to wait too long. I decided to get SNS again, because it lasts longer and I want to keep my nails colored until I grow out all the spots. I picked a color (G401) and the technician Tara started applying that color. However, that color looked nothing like the display. I showed Tara and she agreed. She said that sometimes the display colors are old and get darker. She did seem a little annoyed that she had to remove the first application from my left hand and start over, because I did not notice until she had dipped all five of my fingers. Nevertheless, she did remove it and I selected another color. This time the color (3047) was as displayed and I was much happier. Tara made some small talk, and took her time. I did not feel like she rushed. Overall, I am happy with the look, the experience and the cost. The only negative is that it was quite warm in the salon. read more

I work 12 long hours last night drove about an hour because I wanted to try someplace new. I'm always getting my nails done and I also get a pedicure. I pay well over $100 each time for my fill-in & pedicure From the moment I walked in the door I told the young lady I'm not in a rush. I want to relax that I just got off of work. I sit in the chair instead of her, letting me enjoy my massage getting my toes done. She started doing my nails. I said fine I asked for square square I still got square round I asked them could I pay for a massage at the end I wanted a massage ... I did not realize at the beginning of the service rendered that they even did the massages where you could pay for 10 minutes or more if you wanted I mean it was like I was begging her to pay her to do a massage for me and she still did not want to do it nor did anyone in their establishment? She asked everybody there. One woman was just watching something on her phone she looked irritated, fanned her off and said she had a client coming forget about the client that was standing in front of them. They just paid over $100 as long as I was standing in there talking trying to get someone to. Do a massage for 10 minutes. It's not like I was going to get it for free. I'm paying for a service that they offer just like I have paid over $100 for my toes and nails and was treated poorly because the young lady that did my nails ignored when I asked her a question and just continue to do what she wants to do they treated me as if they were doing something for me for free or doing me a favor when I am paying for their services. I couldn't believe it. They certainly don't have to worry about me. I will not be back. They were rude at the end of the service and I believe she was the owner just simply just didn't want to assist me... a customer with a service they offer continuously telling me just let us know next time ahead of time The crazy thing is there were plenty enough of help there that someone could've assisted me and they just chose not to. I will not give my money to people who insist upon mistreating me or act as if they're doing me a favor when I'm actually paying for a service rendered. I guess it's OK. They overall did a good job on my pedicure as well as my daughters. I was greeted promptly. The woman who took care of me refuse to speak through her mask. As we were being seated, I asked for the restroom. When left, I was explaining to my daughter, amongst three other associates that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. For some reason the three associates sitting there, one on their cell phone, didn't acknowledge me that so I had to say it two more times. The last time I had to nicely demand "can someone get some toilet paper please" know my daughter needed to go as well. I think this Covid business has us all in a bit of a daze. My ex-husband lives in this neighborhood. I looked for it and found it on the app. It had nice reviews compared to many other places in the area. All in all, they did a good job. When this shop first opened the staff was very friendly and eager to establish this nail shop in MCD, however the treatment of the clientele isn't the same. It appears that only certain clients are greeted and attention is provided. I've specifically watched how I'm treated with an appt or without its very unpleasant so I've decided I will take my patronage to a shop that treats all of their clients consistently the same. I have taken my daughters here twice. The first time, the technician quoted one price but charged $10 more. The second time the technician charged my daughter $80 for French tips! You are good but not that good! And when I inquired nicely about the price, the technician had an attitude. Never again! I will take my money somewhere else. read more

I came in an hour and a half before closing, there was only 3 people in there so it wasn't busy. I got seated quickly which i like, but the woman who did my gel polish on my pedicure did a terrible job. Got nail polish on my skin and filed my toes crooked. I waited to see if she was going to clean up her work & she didn't. I had to tell her to fix and take off the gel out of the sidewalls of my toes. And even then, the painting was sloppy. An hour or two later the shinny look was off my toes & they look dull. Now i have to go to another nail shop to get a paint change. Not worth the $39 charge. read more

I hate to give this salon 3 stars, but due to one of the tech name Tara and her attitude it's a must. I love my nails, she did a great job on that, hands down. When she started I asked her did they have a certain color, she said yes. Come to find out they didnt, so I was ask to find another color. I said no problem. Well, while trying to find a color she asked are you ready, I said no not yet. She then sucked her teeth and start huffing and puffing. I said excuse me, she said nothing. So she left and went to the back, she then came back and said are you ready. I said yes I think I am, she then reply well hurry up cause I'm ready. I was over her by then. I stay polite, but when it came down for her to do my pedicure I told her no thank you, can I get someone else. And that tech was very nice and polite and did a great job. The salon would be great and a 5 star if everyone had the attitude like the pedicure tech. read more

Last Tuesday I called to ask if they had time availability & I the young man I use was there after they told me he was not I then asked if they could fix nails I had done at another nail shop and what the charge would be the owner then let me know the sns would be $25 plus $5 to remove nails I had on that I did not like long story short they removed them & I got a new set I asked for regular pink& white I got ugly poor shaped ombré I got there at 4:00 & at 7:30 was the only person left washed my hands got to the counter to pay and was told I owed $65.00 I was so mad and told them I was NOT paying that ! We agreed to $25 plus $5 they said yes but we did ombré so it is $65 I said oh no no one ever told me you were charging more & I did noT ask for that and I have exactly what I did not want I will not be back I payed what was agreed the $30 not a penny more be aware!! i usually have such a great experience here but when i went this last time the lady who was doing my nails kept burning me with the drill. i asked her to turn it down and to be careful because, she was hurting my nails but she didn't. the drill cut open a few of my fingers and she burned my finger tips because she would let go and the drill would roll around my fingers, this happened multiple times. my pinky started bleeding and she said she was sorry but continued to be careless. i usually have no problem and love my nails. read more
