The same tech did all three of my services, which was nice. I'm pretty protective of my nail beds so I only do regular polish ever, but wanted to consider doing a rubber based gel. The staff was very kind in talking me through the options and helping me decide to stick with regular polish. The results was a beautifully shaped manicure, a pedicure to match, and perfectly shaped eyebrows. The interior is nicely decorated, and this is one of those nail shops that serves beverages with a service, so I had a hot ginger tea it was absolutely exactly what I needed and delicious. My only complaint, is that I was not given the advertised Bday discount. The website says there is a 10% birthday discount that never expires. When I asked about a discount at checkout, my nail tech was unaware and very kindly went to inquire. One of her colleagues came over and input a five dollar discount, which was definitely less than 10% of my bill. Overall, the service was great, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the wait was short. DO NOT GO TO DANI!!…read more Last week, I traveled to ATL and decided - after reading glowing reviews about Dani - to go against my norm, and go to an unfamiliar nail salon. It was an AWFUL experience. Here's the breakdown. 1. Had appt at 1pm w/ DanI for dip powder nails. 2. 1:05 Arrived at to the shop. 3. Dani was doing nails but it was clear she was almost finished so I waited. 4. 1:17 Got started, Dani instructed me to soak my nails in acetone and "rub" my nails against a paper towel - a first time experience I've never seen or experience. Dani tells me to soak and "it'll be a few minutes." 5. 1:30 Dani talks to another guest and then proceeds to start a FULL SET w/tips on a young girl w/ very short nails. 6. 1:45 I asked Dani - as I sat and soaked my nails in pure acetone which is awful for healthy nails - if she planned to do a full set as I sat and "soaked" 7. Dani replied " what do you expect me to do - just sit and wait while you soak"! Fast forward, I removed my hands from the acetone after sitting in that for nearly 15 mins. I scrubbed the rest of myself - paid the $16 and left. I will never ever again go to this unprofessional disgusting place. I expected the ability to properly manage appointments as an operational business and put care and service OVER the bottom line. If you want a rushed and inconsiderate experience with zero care for the vitality of your nails and cuticles, but you value a great nail "design", then this is your place. Def ain't for me.

Then after few minutes after she wrapped my feet I asked for it again and some soap it get it off. Dani gets an attitude. I said I know you don't have an attitude with me trying to clean my pants. I left it alone with plans to speak about her response while she was doing my nails. I told her I wanted to speak to her, with the intentions on doing it privately. She sat down and I said, now we are both Business Woman, then she said I don't want to hear it, I don't want to talk about it, the matter is done, if I still wanted my nails painted or go somewhere else. Make a long story short, she lost a good customer who paid 20 each in tips. I kept my stuff together and didn't curse her or anything. Moral of the story: as a business owner if a mistake happen, apologize to the customer, be sympathetic, and don't dismissed the customer as if she doesn't matter.

But everything after that became an absolute nightmare. The nail art and French tip services were nothing short of unacceptable. I asked for a simple French tip with a design, and what I received was so poorly done that it had to be redone over five times--on both my toes and my nails. Five times. Not because I was being picky, but because the work was visibly uneven, sloppy, and nowhere near the basic standard of a professional nail salon. I wanted to leave multiple times, but the staff insisted they could "fix it," only to make the same mistakes over and over again. Instead of feeling pampered, I felt trapped--stuck in a chair for far too long, watching my nails look worse with every attempt. By the end, I was physically and mentally exhausted from the experience. And then to be charged over $130 for nails that genuinely look like I did them myself at home? Completely unacceptable. I walked out feeling embarrassed, angry, and honestly, betrayed for putting my trust--and my money--into this business. I regret staying, I regret paying, and I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt. I will never return, and I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I did.
