I am writing this complaint out of complete frustration and deep disappointment. I truly wish I could say something positive about my visit, because the customer service initially seemed warm and the pedicure itself made me feel cared for. But everything after that became an absolute nightmare. The nail art and French tip services were nothing short of unacceptable. I asked for a simple French tip with a design, and what I received was so poorly done that it had to be redone over five times--on both my toes and my nails. Five times. Not because I was being picky, but because the work was visibly uneven, sloppy, and nowhere near the basic standard of a professional nail salon. I wanted to leave multiple times, but the staff insisted they could "fix it," only to make the same mistakes over and over again. Instead of feeling pampered, I felt trapped--stuck in a chair for far too long, watching my nails look worse with every attempt. By the end, I was physically and mentally exhausted from the experience. And then to be charged over $130 for nails that genuinely look like I did them myself at home? Completely unacceptable. I walked out feeling embarrassed, angry, and honestly, betrayed for putting my trust--and my money--into this business. I regret staying, I regret paying, and I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt. I will never return, and I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I did. My pedicure tech was amazing. However the lady that did my daughter and I nails did a terrible job. I was in disbelief when she said "thank you" and walked away for this as being completed. I probably should've read the reviews before coming here and that would've saved me a trip. I initially came because one of my customers nails were to die for. She told me she got them done here so I decided to give them a try. First off, I showed her a design before she even got started and she said okay she can do it. Right after she glued on the acrylic nails she said she didn't have the color I wanted. Then came back with what she said was a similar color and it was not! So I had to find a totally different design. As I'm scrolling through my phone looking for a design not only is she rushing me but she's hovering over me looking through my phone. I finally settled on a design and it's nice but it doesn't look like what I wanted. I paid $75 for my nails and $35 for my toes. $110 in total. They are way too overpriced for the work they do! My nails are uneven and the powder is super thick like she didn't drill/file it down enough. I won't be coming back. I could've got this same exact design for $55 at JULEE NAILS in MORROW. The wait is long sometimes but they do excellent work. The only reason why I didn't go there is because my regular technician is out due to COVID-19 risks. read more

The place has changed hands! May of 2018 new owner in the shop lots of staff. Noona did my pedicure, CiCi did my nails. Both did a great job. Kept going to them until I left town in August. I came back this May 2019 and it looks like a ghost town. Only familiar face was the owner. The guy that did my SNS did a lousy job. Pedicure was ok, but used the rake on my feet(now I know that's not supposed to be used). Too bad the turnover of staff here is so great! Came into the spot to check n compare prices and was created by Yesica, she was lovely..very professional and pleasant to work with. She was really thorough on my gel nail full set.. Told me about s n s nails Etc I loved my experience and will be back again. I was pleasantly surprised that this was a Mexican Ran establishment instead of the normal Vietnamese owners that seem to dominate this market so that was cool too.. I got my nails done on a Friday. A gel set. Went to Mexico the next day for vacation. After going for a swim I noticed a nail was broke. I said okay... I'll just get it repaired. 3 days later all of my nails had broken except my thumbs. I've never experienced this with any nail salon EVER. Crazy thing is I didn't notice the nails were breaking. There was no pain or anything. That's how I know they were poorly done. As soon as I got back in the country I called them. The manager says that it's been took long and that I should've came by after a day or two. I had explained to her at least ten times that I was out of the country. She was rude and did not help. She could've at least offered to take the nails off. Anyways I was in seat 8. My friend was in seat 2. Her gel polish on her toes chipped the same day she got them done. Luckily she was able to go back that same day to get it fixed. However all of her nails were lifting. I've honestly never seen or experienced that either. We will not be going back here and I'll be sure to leave a review on every platform possible about this business. Very unprofessional, non-talented, and a disgrace to the nail industry. read more

This experience was awesome. My hands and feet look and feel amazing. My eyebrows are on point! They were courteous, friendly, and took their time. They also gave bottled water and chips. I struggle with dry feet. I have NEVER left a nail salon with feet so smooth! I am grateful and i will be back! Thank you Thank you, thank you! A lady was blowing into wax there are at least six people that refer to one woman and they are uneducated in nail care. One technician kept cleaning legs with a dirty towel. I have been coming to this place for a while now and I have never been 100% satisfied but this past weekend was so bad I had to write a review. First of all, all I wanted was a fill in. I had never had a fill in before because I just felt like it wouldn't be as good as the original. But I decided to get a fill in because I loved the shape I had. But the nail tech decided to file it down so much, even the corners, that jt changed the shape of the nails I brought in. Every thing I asked her to do she she complained about and didn't want to do. The polish didn't even go all the way to the edges in some of the nails, giving the illusion of different shaped nails. But when I compared the nails on both hands side by side, they where extremely different because she was just filing away aimlessly. The polish is even chipping and I got gel polish and I have never had my get polish chip away before. I have my sisters wedding to go to in 4 days which is why I got my nails done but this shit is so horrible I am going to buy some acetone and remove it and go to another salon to get it redone. Not everyone there is bad, every time a guy does my nails it's always perfect but with the ladies, they do what they want to. I always get sns nails. I tried this place since it's near. I'm assuming they specialize in gel polish. They put gel polish on top of the sns and it's peeling. I do love that they can design nails. If you like gel polish, enjoy. read more

Linda is ruining a concentration camp!!!! It's been since 11-11-2018 since I haven't received my check this morning I receive a call from Kathy saying Linda will be back from meditation on the 11-19-2018 please tell me who has time to wait for their check when they have bills. Linda is part owner of 3 nail salons here M not B Nails, Magic Nails ,and Nail Space. Linda has a great income but myself as a worker there I'm limited being the only black so I get the crumbs of customers. The other workers don't speak good english if any english she still uses them not paying them but she pay them cash so the irs knows nothing about them none of them have license to even be doing nails. Fact check Linda do not like blacks and it shows the way she has done myself and what she has said to me about hiring other blacks this is why this time the real Linda has spoke. Linda is very out spoken when it comes to her talking to some of the Black customers negative and she wonder why the clientele has falling off so she put a sign up to regain customers but if you know Linda when white customers come there she caters to them but your clientele are blacks the ones that keep the doors open but Linda looks at the as fast cash no love or respect. We as blacks have to stop this treatment because black customers build them up and their families their children have paid college tuition at a young age when our black children have to struggle and there houses are paid for within 5 years. Linda don't give back to the black community she has any of those businesses. Linda takes just like she demanded her sisters not to give me my check something I worked hard for and to receive a call early this morning from Kathy manager from Magic Nails telling me she could not give me my check was only a slap in the face because before Linda left going out of town a week before the 11th Kathy was to give me my check this is what Kinda informed me of. When I know for a sure fact she's not taking taxes from the other workers because their not legal she pays them cash. This is why they don't hire black workers they won't use the the system for them but will use the system for their own is this America or what???? When a company can treat a worker any kind of way not only that if it wasn't for the black community they wouldn't be in business because they don't make their money off of the White community Black people open your eyes and understand the Asian community don't give a damn about the black community it's all about that green dollar because it's never been about myself it's about being treated fairly and having other young black girls having a job in the Asian community being treated fairly with RESPECT!!! I've been coming to M & B 3 months now and by far the best service I've had on the Southside. It's 3 beautiful Spanish ladies who work there. I've seen Yesi, and Freda. Both do an amazing job. I get a pedicure and gel manicure. My nails look clean, the perfect shape, color application is great, and they both are really friendly. standard pricing. It's best to make an appt. during the week. Saturday's are walk in only and it can be a pretty long wait. read more

This is my second time at this establishment, but the first actually paying for services. All I can say is... I won't be back. I arrived at 6:50 pm and said I needed sns done, and a pedicure, they told me a 20 minute wait which was fine. Half way through my pedicure I was told that no more sns could be done because they close at 8. I completely understand if there's only one person that does sns, but it should have been established that there was someone ahead of me and there would be no time. The people seemed to be nice and friendly but the lady who did my nails, was so fast and rough. I couldnt even enjoy the service. I called ahead of time and made an appointment for Tiffany to do my nails. 0 stars for this salon. The worst service I have ever received! I came in requesting a full set and pedicure at 6:20 pm with only 3 other customers being serviced already and 3 1/2 attendants. I say 1/2 because the other woman was new and in training. So they give me the trainee and don't look back. The trainee started on my pedicure but very unsure of herself barely touched my cuticles and cut my nails way too short. After complaining, the owner/manager, still unsure about that, comes over after having to be called by the trainee, to take over. She then proceeds to not only remove the cuticle but painfully rip the "ingrown toenails" that I didn't know I had from each toenail making them bleed. She puts treatment on 2 toes and nothing on the other foot. (Total of 6 toes bleeding) Then leaves the trainees to polish my nail. The trainee did a great job polishing. In the meantime, the manager had locked the doors at 7 when they close at 8. She also declined to do another customer's full set after she patiently waited. I spoke up reminding them that I came in for a full set and pedicure. I hear the manager asking someone if it was true or not. I answered her with confirmation, now it's 7:45pm. They move me to salon table and guess who sits down to do my full set? The trainee again! I'm done! I paid for my feet and left at 8 pm!!! This was the worst service ever!! Very unprofessional! This would be 0 stars if this app would let me. I have never written a review no matter how terrible my service was but I made it my business to spread the word. I have been to this particular shop 3 times. Twice for my eyebrows and once for a gel pedicure. I gave them a chance to do my feet because their aesthetician said it was a new shop and they seemed nice. Boy was I in for an experience from hell. I walked in and got put into the spa chair relatively quick. The water started off slightly cool so that was strike one. Strike two was when I clearly got the most inexperienced technician. She half assed my pedicure and when it came time to put the gel on she didn't even put a toe separator in between my toes causing my middle toe to stick to another one and I had to point that out and she also didn't even paint my whole big toe nail and I could go on for days. The nicest one was a technician that if it hadn't had been for her I would have left. I have worked in customer service for almost ten years so I what I experienced yesterday was unacceptable and I literally had to get another pedicure within less than an hour! I will not be returning to so much as get my eyebrows done. That shop won't last long with the service they are putting out. DO NOT GO THERE or you will REGRET IT. read more
