She was quick but did a pretty clean job and was very sweet. My pedicure was done by a different older woman who did OK, nothing to rave about. Halfway through, another younger girl came and sat and took over without anyone saying anything lol, uhh. She was also OK with the gel polish but it's not clean, clean ya know. Here they kept it simple no pedicure list with tones of choices, a straight 25.00 and I received some a sea salt or sugar scrub. It was a good and simple pedicure, I'll say a better job could have been done on my polishing but doable. I'm thinking one of the owners (maybe) started on my nails and another young lady completed my service. It's always dope to see Asian dominant salons allow other races to work. The young lady who took care of my nails was white... I hate I can't remember anyone's name! She was very talented and knowledgeable of nails and she made my nails look like something, with all they had going on. If I didn't have a regular nail tech all ready, I sure would come back and give her a try. This is not one of those new fancy upscale nails salons but they clearly do good work, each person who came in they knew or was expecting and I saw a few nails leave out...Nice!!

I asked a patron exiting for feedback and she said she was pleased and emphatically recommended that Johnny provide my pedicure service. After entering establishment I was greeted by Tina and she shared service options and that Johnny was booked until close. I felt no pressure or impatience as I perused the offerings and nail polish options. Decided to stay and was placed at a station w/in 10 minutes. I opted for the Mud Mask pedicure with a regular manicure. The properties listed for this pedicure included much needed moisture and figured exfoliation too. My attendant was quiet as she diligently worked on my feet. A few others were more engaging including a woman with a stylish cut and beautiful tattoo. I think Johnny was a few stations down. Loved the spaced out & updated decor. The pictures on the wall included African Ladies and a pair of flamenco dancer pictures were on both the left & right walls upon entry. Really appreciated the art depicting customers who patronize. The manicure stations had glass partitions and customers were spaced apart to allow for social distancing. I was pleased with service - nails and good customer interactions. Tina insisted I sit under drying lamps and made sure my nails were dry before leaving. My nails lasted through the holiday weekend and still look good. Will return for other spa treatment options and possibly get in Johnny's chair ;-)

She complained about my nails and cuticles, even though that's part of the service I was paying for. She then told me she couldn't do the short almond shape I've been getting for months. When I asked if she could recreate the design, she said she'd try her best, which wasn't reassuring so I politely requested another technician. She got upset, and refused to finish cutting and shaping my nails. The manager told me I need to wait for someone else to become available with no apology or attempt to make the situation right. Thankfully, Kim took over and was kind, professional, and even offered me a complimentary wax for my birthday. She's the only reason I stayed and left a tip. As I was leaving, the first technician and the manager gave me dirty looks. To make matters worse, less than a week later my polish is already peeling. This experience was unacceptable. I'll be taking my business to a salon that treats its customers with respect and delivers the quality of service they pay for.
