This nail shop is posted in a black community and providing mediocre services. I guess they think most of us don't know any better anyway. Be warned, nothing is clean. The scrub brush they use is being used on everybody they service and the have very little disinfection protocols. Let's start with the fact that no two ppl do pedicures the same, as a licensed professional the steps for a pedicure should be the same no matter who does it! They are not pushing cuticles back. They are not properly cutting cuticles. They are not properly cleaning your nails they barely even remove the nail polish. My experience here was quite unique. To begin, their english is very good so I felt like they understood everything that I wanted. The woman that did my nails was kind & funny ... very funny ... too funny. You know like when you aren't sure if someone is being funny or insulting. Let's just say she told me to call her sister... yeah strange butttt my pedicure was perfect. As for my full-set ... way too much acrylic was used. I had to file my nails once i got home. A few nails hurt and I don't know why. I've never had sore nails after getting acrylics. I spent over 100 dollars. They charge an additional 15 bucks for gel. Went for the first time recently, looking to find somewhere cheaper than my current nail place. Not bad overall. I didn't have to wait and the service was attentive. I opted for the pedi first and then to go sit at the table for my gel mani next, instead of having 2 people work on me simultaneously. The guy who did my nails laid the gel on thick and while it didn't look bad, it was much different than what I expected. I was not thrilled, but also not about to spend time complaining to them about it since I also didn't have time for a redo or anything like that. A week later, I'm still sporting the same gel manicure so I was able to live with it. Again, not bad, but I think I'll keep looking elsewhere for the right price & techniques. Last, this place is in a shopping center with another nail place. I like this nail salon. The people are friendly. Appointments are available. They have a very limited selection of regular polish, but lots of options for SNS and gel. The prices are very good and I got good service my first visit. I did not like the SNS manicure I received on my second visit. I voiced my concerns but nothing was said or done to make me happy about it. So I paid and didn't tip. I definitely will not get that manicure again. Always stick to who & what you know. I decided to try out a new nail salon now originally I wanted to go to LA Nails on the same strip as Top Nails but they were closed due to the holiday. Since I drove all the way over there I decided to go to another nearby nail place which was Top Nails. When I walked in I was not greeted. Cool probably no one saw me come in. It happens. So I waited about 10 mins & I saw the manager greet another guess & I asked about me. She said sorry she didn't see me blah blah blah & I was serviced right away. When she told me the guy that was going to do my nails my stomach did a flip & something was telling me no don't do it. (You guys ALWAYS listen to your gut feeling) I sat down & he started my nails. Everything was going ok at first. When it came down to shaping the Nails I couldn't help but notice how fat some Nails were to others. I told him & he "fixed it" well continuing on to putting the gel polish on he stack on 6 layers of gel polish which made the Nails even fatter! I was livid & when I was looking at how horrible my nails were he got rude & said stop what are you doing. I told him how horrible, fat & ugly the Nails were & this guy has the audacity to say that "no your nails just go like that!" I went off & said no, funny how I came in here & my nails weren't this fat. He ignored what I had to say. After everything was horribly done. He says it was $40. Which is high priced in my opinion for a full set of long nails with gel polish. Usually I pay $40 for a full set, gel polish & gel polish on my feet at Julee Nails (which is who I will be sticking too). I couldn't even get my feet done because he said it would be an additional $20 to get gel on my feet! I spoke with the manager & told her how Unpleased & upset I was & she was like no dear they are pretty, they are nice. & I told her no they're ugly & fat & she said no dear I like. After 5 mins of going back & forth she said I'll take off $3 dollars. (Whoa big deal) & then she says "only me & you will know how big the Nails are nobody will notice." I walked out & sat in the car & did a good look at my nails & i was so pissed & mad I was like no I'm not walking out like this when I have plans for the 4th of July. So I went back in & told her how unsatisfied I was & how I wanted my nails fixed or my money back. She said I gave you $3 off. I told her idc. She said I like them & think they're cute. & I said idc what you think it's not about what you think it's about how I think & feel & as your paying customer I am telling you I am unsatisfied. She told me to come back on Thursday to get them redone I said no because I have plans for the 4th & that I will not be wearing these nails. After constant back & forth she finally agreed to let someone else do my nails. & they are wonderful now! Somebody else did them & she slayed these nails. All they needed was reshaping & 2 coats of gel polish. I told the manager do she see the difference & that I like them now. She said yes & good. & since I like them could I give the $3 dollars back for her fixing them. I only agreed & gave an extra dollar because the lady that redid them were nice & fixed them up real nice. I'm just mad that she had the nerve to ask for the money back after something that they did wrong. This nail salon needs to understand that the guest are always right & needs to do anything to please their guest if they aren't satisfied because at the end of the day WE'RE the ones spending our hard earned money & without us there will be no business. They service was amazing but THE PRICES ARE A SCAM!!! I went in for a fill in and a pedicure. A regular pedicure is $23, great. BUT I also go a fill in with gel polish and they charged me $32?!?!?! A REGULAR FULL SET IS $30 AND UP SO HOW IS YOUR FILL IN THE SAME PRICE?! Mind you this in Riverdale not Buckhead. So I basically got ripped off. I went there to get a pedicure. There was about 6 of us there waiting for service. What i didnt like about this place is that there was no sign in sheet. As people finished, the staff would walk up and say "who's next". a slight argument ensued between the customers about who was supposed to be next. And then the staff member would say well "i only do nails" or "i only do feet", so there was so much confusion and no structure. They need to do better and become more organized.
