To no satisfaction, I tried diligently to explain that I was not that customer and have never complained about their work or ask for a service to be done over. I was told that two technicians claimed that I was that customer and they were both wrong. This salon had not presented any evidence to support their allegation such as: 1-comparing names of customers, 2-comparing phone numbers of customers nor 3- dates of customers visits. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this salon. C. J. Bryant

DO NOT GO TO DANI!!…read more Last week, I traveled to ATL and decided - after reading glowing reviews about Dani - to go against my norm, and go to an unfamiliar nail salon. It was an AWFUL experience. Here's the breakdown. 1. Had appt at 1pm w/ DanI for dip powder nails. 2. 1:05 Arrived at to the shop. 3. Dani was doing nails but it was clear she was almost finished so I waited. 4. 1:17 Got started, Dani instructed me to soak my nails in acetone and "rub" my nails against a paper towel - a first time experience I've never seen or experience. Dani tells me to soak and "it'll be a few minutes." 5. 1:30 Dani talks to another guest and then proceeds to start a FULL SET w/tips on a young girl w/ very short nails. 6. 1:45 I asked Dani - as I sat and soaked my nails in pure acetone which is awful for healthy nails - if she planned to do a full set as I sat and "soaked" 7. Dani replied " what do you expect me to do - just sit and wait while you soak"! Fast forward, I removed my hands from the acetone after sitting in that for nearly 15 mins. I scrubbed the rest of myself - paid the $16 and left. I will never ever again go to this unprofessional disgusting place. I expected the ability to properly manage appointments as an operational business and put care and service OVER the bottom line. If you want a rushed and inconsiderate experience with zero care for the vitality of your nails and cuticles, but you value a great nail "design", then this is your place. Def ain't for me.

I am writing this complaint out of complete frustration and deep disappointment. I truly wish I…read morecould say something positive about my visit, because the customer service initially seemed warm and the pedicure itself made me feel cared for. But everything after that became an absolute nightmare. The nail art and French tip services were nothing short of unacceptable. I asked for a simple French tip with a design, and what I received was so poorly done that it had to be redone over five times--on both my toes and my nails. Five times. Not because I was being picky, but because the work was visibly uneven, sloppy, and nowhere near the basic standard of a professional nail salon. I wanted to leave multiple times, but the staff insisted they could "fix it," only to make the same mistakes over and over again. Instead of feeling pampered, I felt trapped--stuck in a chair for far too long, watching my nails look worse with every attempt. By the end, I was physically and mentally exhausted from the experience. And then to be charged over $130 for nails that genuinely look like I did them myself at home? Completely unacceptable. I walked out feeling embarrassed, angry, and honestly, betrayed for putting my trust--and my money--into this business. I regret staying, I regret paying, and I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt. I will never return, and I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I did. This experience was infuriating, disappointing, and absolutely not reflective of what a professional nail salon should be.

She complained about my nails and cuticles, even though that's part of the service I was paying for. She then told me she couldn't do the short almond shape I've been getting for months. When I asked if she could recreate the design, she said she'd try her best, which wasn't reassuring so I politely requested another technician. She got upset, and refused to finish cutting and shaping my nails. The manager told me I need to wait for someone else to become available with no apology or attempt to make the situation right. Thankfully, Kim took over and was kind, professional, and even offered me a complimentary wax for my birthday. She's the only reason I stayed and left a tip. As I was leaving, the first technician and the manager gave me dirty looks. To make matters worse, less than a week later my polish is already peeling. This experience was unacceptable. I'll be taking my business to a salon that treats its customers with respect and delivers the quality of service they pay for.
