Was referred to this establishment a few days ago when shopping in the area, and was very thankful as I have been looking for a place to assist with my healthy nail journey. I was told the staff was very friendly and professional. Upon arriving two days ago, I was met with a bit of confusion as no one could fully give me pricing upfront, but quickly ushered me to sit in a chair. I was then given a book with pricing on nail services as I just wanted a basic manicure and pedicure without artificial nail addition. Since I was already seated decided on the pedicure as that was truly what I needed. Again, I was continuously offered up charges like the gel polish despite stating I just wanted a basic manicure due to the damage received from previous gel applications. The attendant was not happy at my adamant desire for the basic pedicure, and felt that she was very rough with my feet. I did explain to the lady who would've done my manicure that I just wanted upfront pricing and basic services at this point. Overall, the pedicure process was decent although I don't believe I received all the bullet points listed under the basic manicure like the massage. The polish color options were plentiful (see swatches), and believe it's the same polish that is used in a gel process. I was told that I'd have to sit for about 15 minutes due to the glitter in the polish I selected and not getting the gel instant dry. Had no problem sitting as it was the end of my day. My problem was that the attendant just left and I did hear her mentioning that she was going home to someone else. Waited for her to return and say something to me (I'm done , thank you, goodbye...something!) as well as receive the tip I had for her. That did not happen, and had to search for my shoes before I left as they were wedged in a corner behind a stool. Will continue to search for a local nail spot, or be more diligent in booking in advance for places like IWI Fresh. Sadly, I did notice imperfections after leaving, and also the next day. More so a spot for those inclined to the gel polish and other artificial enhancements as the other staff appeared to be more personable than my attendant. read more

Well I've been going to Julee nails for a couple of years but haven't been since Covid-19 shout down. I probably been 1 time since then but decided to go today after work because it's close by where I work. Well I sat in my car and soaked off my SNS nail polish myself because I heard they start charging for unnecessary prices. As I go in I waited over 30 minutes, I started to leave and I should have. ‍I was charged $45 for SNS with NO tip added because my nails are already long and I cut them shorter myself. The lady that sits at station 2 (didn't get her name) claims that they charged me for shaping my nails which is square round. So I'm like since when you guys start charging for shaping, isn't that your job to shape my nails. How they really get you and over pricing customers is that they don't even have a price list hanging up. Which is something they should have so people will know what all they are being charged. I know in the past before COVID they had there prices hanging up but now nothing. So BEWARE IF YOU DON'T MINE OVER PAYING. I was blown away and knew that this was the place my daughter needed to do her nails for prom. OMG, when I called Kim answered the phone ( at least that's who she told me her name was), the conversation went as followed: Kim: Julee Nails Me: Hello, I would like to schedule an appointment. My sister received service today and at the completion of her service, she was advised of her amount. With being a frequent customer she was surprised at the price, so She asked was the price was correct. The individual that did her nails jumped in her face, threatened her, was irate, rude, and hostile. Not once did my sister state she was not going to pay, just questioned the unethical pricing for the fill-in. He publicly threatened her in front of staff and other customers. Staff had to pull him back so he would not physically assault her. The police was called and I want to publicly state this is not the end. Thankfully, a customer recorded the whole incident and sent us the tape. While, two representatives from the nail shop did contact my sister advising that their staff was wrong and apologized, it is unprofessional for a man to threaten and verbally assault a patron for asking a valid question. I called before coming she said they had time to do a full set and to come. I came and walked in to the front everyone looked at me and didn't ask what I needed or even greeted me. After asking for the third time "do you have space for a full set" a woman turned her back and said yea and started yelling at a male in the back and he's yelling to the front with food in his mouth telling me to sit at five after I walked to chair five the girl has her whole neck turned yelling about how she's not doing my nails bedside she just did someone and he needed to do it so they all three collectively tell me to sit at two instead. Came to this salon as a recommendation from a friend.y mom and I arrived at 9:10am and waited for them to open at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. It was already people waiting upon arrival. There was a bit of lack of communication from one of the guy workers (not sure of his name) and he seemed to have a bit of an attitude that I was requesting the techs that my friend recommended and kept saying they weren't there and he wasn't sure when they were coming. Samantha did my nails 1 day ago and today they resemble press on nails. when I went back yesterday to talk to her Was told she was in the mall and wouldn't be back.when I asked if someone else could take me they informed when if she didn't fix them I would be charged 25 dollars, I approached one of the guys and he acted as if had a bad odor he nose was so far in the air. I am a mature easy going women as I am retired my 90 dollars was/is very precious. The times Ive come they are friendly, work hard and ensure that you are satisfied before you leave. This time Ty did my pedicure and I must say I'm beyond impressed, and I'm not usually easily impressed. I hadn't had a pedicure since the last time they did it in April so my feet was rough. Lol. I've been going to Kim for about 3 years now at her previous salon and was SO excited at to support her at her NEW, very OWN spot! Kim has always been extremely professional which I love about her. She's also an absolute sweetheart! She has personal interaction with all her clients and you can tell she genuinely cares. Kim's brother does amazing work as well and he is so cute and sweet. Her whole staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. I go to Kim specifically for my nails but allow anyone to do my pedicure and I haven't had a bad experience with anyone at all. Extremely CLEAN! I will not be back. The first two times my nails were done they were great. But the last two, it wasn't done right. I had lifting and chipping which I've never had before. I've had rhinestones pop off after two days of them being applied after having experience of them lasting weeks done by someone else. I went back to get them put back on after I went on vacation with my nails ending up looking crazy and they made me wait AN HOUR AND A HALF to put on rhinestones. No one apologized and the person who messed up my nails the first time was never told about it. I have been going to Julee Nails, for almost a year and though the service and has not been the best LINDA (whom is always professional) shapes amazingly and has always been worth the wait. I booked an appointment on Friday 06/12/2020 with a woman who sits in the first seat of desk 7(desk 7 is the first desk upon entering the facility) and goes by the name of Selena. I decided to book with Selena to grasp a concept from IG. Selena verified that I was booked at 10am Wednesday June 17, however when I asked if I should provide my name I was told that it would be fine. I knew that this was a bit suspicious since I come here often I trusted the system and showed up at the scheduled time. Upon entering there was another woman who walked in the door about 20 seconds after me, I spoke to the individual closest to the register named Kim and informed her of my appointment time and the individual who will be taking care of my nails. After the woman who walked in after me also stated she was here for the same appointment time with the same individual. Kim responded "we only do walkins so this will be first come first serve" Confused, I disagreed and informed her that I in fact booked an appointment and spoke to the individual (Selena) personally. When KIM ask Selena who is next Selena points to woman who has walked in AFTER me. I began to ask her if we there system is now "First come First Serve" how is it that I'm being serviced after someone who came in after me?!!! Kim proceeds to tell me, that it's early in the morning and I can go and spend my money else where.Shocked at the unprofessionalism I revert my question to a woman who is in the shop to help with improvement with systems and processes. I decided to get an unneeded pedicure to pass time after being told I would for sure be next. After then again patiently waiting, I stand up when the customer has completed and Kim puts yet another person In front of me. I feel very taken advantage of. If you don't have 3 hours to wait this is not the place for you. If you demand professionalism don't even head this way. I'm in Atlanta for business and thought I'd get my nails done during some down time. I read the reviews and figured I'd go close to when they open to avoid a wait. I wasn't disappointed!! I went for a pedicure and a fill-in with gel and was very pleased. A man was working on my toes while another gal worked on my nails. They were both very meticulous about doing a good job. They took their time and didn't slop the polish on. For both, I spent $46 (not including the tip). Back home that would have cost me at least 60! So...been a customer for the past 2yrs, and I've gone online to complain twice. Today is it...I won't be back. As I am there with my feet in the water and the lady has started my fill in. Another lady asks if I want gel on my toes (which i normally do, but at this point it's a waste) so I tell her no gel this time. I notice she gets up like 2 times after that and each time she asks again if I want gel polish, I'm like NO (at this point I'm getting agitated) what part don't you understand!!! As I take my foot out the water for her to start my pedicure she says "oh you have to pay an extra $5 to take off gel polish that's already on your toes if you're not getting gel with the pedicure." The look I gave her I can tell she was uncomfortable...please trust I'm to old to show out & cut up in public BUT what I will do is give a bad review and never spend money in here again. And trust it's not the $5 because I spend over $100 every two weeks with them. It's the fact that since I said I didn't want gel you're going to try and get extra money out of me anyways!! I could see if I wasn't getting a pedicure but really. So for that you lose the entire sale and a loyal customer!!
