Beware of this business. Once I was agreeing with what the technician wanted to charge for the nail; they became rude. Speaking "of course in their language we don't understand " talking down to me and now telling me to (shut, pay, get out ). We're talking $10 because I went to get 4 nails fix and the tech assured my dumb A$$ it would be cheaper if I got a new set rather than get them fixed is what he said. " Trust me" is what he said. Nails broke from moving. Just move there , first at this nail shop ever in life. After doing everything he quoted me a price of $55 dollars for so baby size nails by the time he finished filling. When I said no, that's when all the hell broke loose The tech said you free to go so I go to leave. The owner: you don't pay... you don't pay... you don't pay I come back and say no problem, he said I can go... They began to call me uneducated. Low class... every thing fell out the mouth but you know what my folks etc.... They called the police on me because I was cussing and because I left without signing the recite. Thanks to the nice officers of the Lovejoy police department that who kindly text me to return and sign the $10 recite because this can be considered thief of service although you may be morally right so I when back an sign. Where can I started 1st they put the wrong color on my feet. The pedicure sucks I had ask to come back to fix it. My nails where can I begin. It's my birthday this Saturday and I wanted to treat myself to a pedicure and a manicure. I happened to be at the Walmart and decided I'd look for "most reviewed" under nail spas in my area. Cupid Nails had the WORST reviews and it seemed to be the most expensive with three $$$ signs under their business. I'm thinking; oh HELL no...but the OTHER places were a bit further away so I decided to....give them a try. I was greeted instantly when I walked in by someone fixing nails on a client. She pardon herself, walked over to me and shared the menu and asked what it was that I would like. I was seated immediately and after I was I really took in the place. It's EXTREMELY modern and VERY clean. The massage chairs you get your pedicure in look brand new and the tech was very thorough and patient. Someone even came over and asked if would like some water, tea, ginger ale or get this....red or white wine!!! My mouth fell open. I said, "Hugh!?." I just knew they were joking but....far from it. I said I would LOVE some red wine. He disappeared into the back and came back with exactly that....and it was goooood! Now my back is melting in this awesome massage chair, I'm listening to wonderful spa music on my Walkman, getting an awesome pedicure AND drinking some nice wine?! Why in god's green earth would I EVER want to go elsewhere?? When she was done, she placed these spa slippers on me and moved MY shoes over to the manicure table FOR ME. Now usually (because I'm 6-2) the top of my legs are always squished underneath those manicure tables but not this time. They actually have tables with taller legroom for us taller guys as well! The following manicure was ALSO amazing. I had a nice chat with the Mgr. After about me almost not coming in and why. Now admittedly I'm a straight male and I'm not getting the myriad of treatments most women and some men get; mine was a no frills mani and pedi but I had a 5 Star experience and they now have a new fan who WILL be coming to them regularly. Why is it that all the techs in the salon don't have the same training. They charge a pretty penny but don't deliver. A pedicure is $40. She does the cuticles but then the favorite part of most customers is the massage but all she does is rub lotion on, hardly any massage at all. Then the manicure, oh dear lord, literally no massage at all and charged $30 to cut cuticles, rub on some lotion and paint clear. While my neighbor ordered the same type of mani and pedi and her tech was all into the massage. Massaging the arch of her foot, her toes and that part from your ankle to your foot. Hers took the entire hour. I was sitting at the dryer 40 minutes later. Totally disappointed!! Sure funny how they understand NO English until they tell you how much they're charging you!!! I try many places for get my nails done, none of this places fully up my expectations! I try Cupid's nails 2 years ago and I love their work! All the nail tech are so nice and so good at it! If I could give less than one star I would. I came in for two pedicures and full sets and was told to wait 40 minutes because they weren't ready yet. They took our contact info and all for the intent of when we return we wouldn't have to wait. Side bar: They had been open according to business hours. We agreed to wait and came back 40 minutes later to them telling us "can you wait another 40 minutes because now we have filled the chairs and we have no one to service you"........ then proceeded to try and guide us to wait again in the sitting area. Poor customer service try somewhere else that won't waste your time. read more

I went in for a fill in and this is what I can out with! The white is dingy my nails are bulky! She put too much powder on them and didn't file them properly! Worst nail shop ever! Do not go here! Do not go to this nail salon. Spa pedicure experience was not up to par for it to be classified as deluxe. The acrylic on my big toes was lumpy and uneven and the tech didn't apply polish on evenly and on my whole toe nails. For the fill-ins with gel polish the only decent nail techs are Amy and Alex and the young woman who does the long nails and design. read more

My sister has been living in this area for a few years and she told me NOT to go to this salon specifically because of the work that's done on nails, I went anyway because I was in a rush to go somewhere and I regret it badly! The tech that I went to layered on the acrylic so thick that soaking them didn't even help to remove it, so now 3 of my real nails are split in half and my index finger has a piece of acrylic stuck to it and it has also ripped my nail in half! If I could give them ZERO stars I would. This was THE WORST experience (customer service & quality of work) I've ever had at a nail salon and I've been getting my nails and toes done for decades. I'm new to the area and I tried this location and I will never come back. Their tools are not properly sanitized/sterilized, they switched nail techs on me, the guy didn't do what he considered to be a manicure until my nails were done drying under the UV light (he then dry cut my cuticles & tried to charge me an extra $5 for that; he did not soak my cuticles or massage my hands). My nails lifted 6 days later and I went back for them to fix it. The lady did finally fix some of them that were lifted after trying to convince me that was normal. read more

These people are rude. And need more staff. They will say the wait time is one time and then you end up waiting way over the approximated wait time. They also pick and choose when they want to close based off of they feel. I came 40 + Mins before they closed and the employee said they are closed. He said I need to arrive 30 mins prior to closing time which I did so I don't understand their logic. Plus their gel polish doesn't last and chips on natural nails. read more

I have frequented this shop a few times it's really close to my home and most of the staff is pleasant with the exception of the man who is is silly seated on the first chair and interacts with Costumers most frequenlty. I have witnessed him argue with other customers but he never does my nails so I countinued to come. On today I arrived at the shop at 6:50 pm and he asked me what k would like I told him and say to wait my turn. While sitting waiting every person who walked into the door he turned away saying they were already closed although the sign on the door say 8:00. At 7:30 I had still not seen seen so I got up and asked would my nails be able to be started in the next 15 minutes and he responded no we don't have time to do your nail before we close. So basically I wasted 40 minutes and would have just countinued to sitting there until they closed just to be turned away. Save your time and money on shops with good service read more
