We arrived here with a party of 27 after a funeral. The staff was very accommodating and seated us in a private room. The food choices were overwhelmingly numerous- so many dishes to choose from. They had a separate area for the sushi which was continuously being made by several sushi chefs. The only downer was that the ice cream machine was not working. But still- a nice meal with our family and friends celebrating a life well lived.

Came here with my family to celebrate mother's day. This place is really beautiful and elegant. They have a ton of food options and they even have roasters with fresh meat coming out. I will say that when I went it was super crowded but overall the food was good and plentiful. The food definitely has flavor. One thing I need to point out is how amazing the staff is. My mother had a little issue with her foot being hurt and the staff were so so helpful. Everyone was very kind and attentive.

This new Asian buffet could actually work here in this space. Many places have come and gone because its just so big for the traffic which means it might be super high rent - not fully justified in this quiet spot- sure its near a Mall but one that has emptied save One last store. It's in a smaller group of shops but Staples, Shoprite, Raymour, a National Liquidators are not exactly places Millennials will come and drop real $. - a Party store was just having its last day a few shops down. So went in with a few people and was PLEASANTLY surprised. Bright, fun, some blue lights here and there near the ceiling. Sushi was delicious- and good looking - but above all fresh - they deserve more tipping than buffers usually bring. Food was fine. Was it Ruby Buffet great? No not like Ruby - with the delicious items no one could resist. But Better looking desert - but no one in our group could make it back. Lucky to get to the car because Buffets cause some overeating - too many fun things to try. They had some roasted pork and beef which were ok but heavy. No roast pork spareribs like Global. Aome dumping but not the same level - And any chicken dishes there was way too fried over shredded looking and didnt appear to BE normal chicken pieces- someone tried soup and it was better than other buffets. So enjoyed the tea, sushi, sesame balls with red bean paste - love those - string beans, mushrooms, coconut shrimp, salmon etc etc etc etc etc and the next etc was where we all we too far. Next time one small plate!!! Fun spot to enjoy a fun buffet in a roomy spacious cheerfully decorated place. Lighting is also relaxed enough to enjoy a nice time. Service was e energetic and helpful. Pleasant all around place - we had lunch - dinner brings in all bunch of seafood lover items.

This buffet is very convenient and full of a sweet variety of options for a decent price. The variety of sushi options was what really drew me in. The fish quality is good for the price point. The pepper tuna was definitely my favorite. They have some pretty good cooked seafood such as flounder and salmon, but it's probably not worth it to come here if you aren't a sushi person Some of the non-seafood options were pretty undesirable but you don't come here for that. The service was fine and the atmosphere was very very pleasant for a buffet. The interior design and layout was much better than expected. This place finds a nice middle ground between a typical cheap buffet and an all you can eat sushi place. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're a seafood lover looking for some variety. However, there are much better options on long island for all you can eat sushi if that's what you're looking for.

Here's the Scoop! Just heard about this buffet from my daughter. When we arrived my husband and I realized we were here when it was a barbecue buffet. My daughter treated us to dinner. The restaurant is well lit and beautifully decorated. Lots of seating and can accommodate groups. Nice size booths and table combinations. Upon entering you give your party number you're immediately escorted to a table. There's a Sushi section with many fresh choices. Love, live, love this buffet. A step up from the rest. Service, food and ambiance, the food is displayed and surfaces kept clean. Constant refills on foods liked most. Many fish and meat choices. Varieties of fresh vegetables seasoned and tasty. Soup bar is fabulous as well as desserts. Overall 5 stars. I know I'll be back again.

Main diningroom

I rarely go to buffet places, keeping that in mind, i didn't have high expectations. This was by far THE WORST restaurant i have ever eaten in. Sushi, dumplings, mei fun, was dried out. I had to spit a bad piece of sushi into a napkin. Every dish/plate i picked up was greasy on the bottom! And caked on food on bowls and utensils. This place is very dirty, from the front door( looks like its never been cleaned) to the dining room, bathrooms. I expressed the greasy plate and caked on food to the manager. He came back from the kitchen, and said yeah the person who does the dishes doesn't clean the bottom of the plates?!!! I said thats absurd! He took and off $7 for the dirty plates. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for This is a subpar experience, and i am warning anyone that goes there, to be prepared for the unsanitary conditions .

Better than many others. Nice decor in main dining area including large windows & fancy looking chandeliers, not as much though in the very large, side dining area . Varied dishes, especially the many kinds of sushi & sashimi; also American style items (Caesar salad, chick pea & mozzarella salads, fried chicken. pizza), several different soups, noodle dishes, seafood dishes, not a lot of chicken-based dishes, lots of bottles of different whiskeys, scotch, gin, vodka, etc in see-through "bottle walls", staff is reserved & efficient, changed out steam trays of food often. Prices are moderate. They accept coupons & there is plenty of parking.

Do they serve crab legs and oysters?

Do they have crab rangoons?

Has anyone come for weekday lunch? What are the offerings? Still seafood options?

Weekday lunch has a very broad array of offerings, including seafood, sushi, soups, typical American & Asian steam table entrees, salads & LOTS more. We were impressed with the variety & yes, the seafood

As someone born & raised in flushing who grew up eating hotpot/kbbq, and often still eats hotpot -…read moreI'm honestly very impressed by the quality of K-city. I will preface this by saying I consider K-city a 5/5 for Long Island - probably a 4/5 if K-city was in Queens tbh. If i was in the Nassau area I default to K-city vs. Kpot! I mainly go to K-city for the hotpot vs. the kbbq/hot food selection. The bbq is okay but the grill itself is pretty small. The prepared food selection is also okay, includes both hot food & sushi but I mainly consider it as food to eat while my hotpot is getting ready (lol). The broths are very legit with the variety offered being spicy (mala with the Szechuan peppercorns), mushroom, pork bone, herbal ( I believe is a mix of pork & chicken + herbs), tomato and mushroom. My favorite thus far have been the spicy & herbal! I appreciate that the meats are also included in the buffet section as well so I can control the quantity as opposed to some other hotpot/bbq places where the meats come pre-portioned. I think the main drawback of K-City as opposed to Spring Shabu (my personal 2nd favorite choice in nassau) is definitely the veggie selection & quality. Having said that, the veggie selection is okay and has the main things I get like the enoki mushrooms, napa cabbage, broccoli and noodles.

A lot of people seem to give high praises of this place. Several friends and family even…read morerecommended to me. Of course the beast in me have to try! First off, yeah its a bbq/ hotpot kind of joint. AYCE of course. I have to say the little personal hotpots they give us are cute. The broth choices doesn't seem to matter tbh. Eventually you're chucking all types of seafood and meats that will make your broth good regardless. The pot is a bit on the smaller side if you choose 2 different broths. Hoping the 1 flavor one would be bigger but its the same. Cause of the split pot inside. As for the choices it's pretty standard hotpot stuff. Nothing too crazy to write home about. The grill side was a bit on the disappointment. Sure they have "marinated meats" but when I went they just chuck frozen galbi on top of the marinated meat. Not sure if they didn't have enough time for prep but I felt like the workers are just throwing things in for us animals to eat regardless of flavors. The cook station and sushi station was probably the most disappointing stations of them all. Majority of the cooked foods were cold. you would assume theres some kind of heat light warmer or steam bath to keep the foods warm but nope... most of them were just out and about and cold. The sushi station was lack lustered... selections were limited. Just your average carb city and fillers. The sashimi were not appealing imo. Overall, i felt like this place maybe good for younger audiences or family outings. Kids will like it cause of all the different types of fried/fast food styles. Also... just a tip for some of you out there. If you see raw oysters and raw clams with ice cubes on them... it's for HOT POT to COOK THEM IN! If you want the legit ones goto the sushi station for them... DONT EAT THE ONES AT THE HOTPOT STATION! MOST LIKELY YOU WILL GET SICK IF YOU DO! I'm pretty sure their were signs that state that ...but saw some of these "adults" SLURPING AWAY before even making it to the table... and im like...bro is gonna be on the toilet for sure... SO yeah.. BE SMART! READ BEFORE STUFFING YOUR FACE WITH THE RAW STUFF!

Global Buffet is a huge restaurants inside a large brick building and is hard to miss. There is plenty of parking as it sits in a large shopping area. We came on a random weekday and I was surprised how busy this place was. We were a slightly large group so it did take a minute for them to put some tables together. Customer service was great from start to finish. Our table stayed clean and our drinks stayed full. My uncle footed the bill, but I glanced at the prices and they are very reasonable here. The buffet setup is massive. I've honestly only seen bigger in Vegas. They had about 3 rows of foods. On top of that, off to the side, they have salad and dessert bars, a hibachi station, and a large sushi station. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the offerings are truly global. They have a variety of different cuisines but the main focus is Chinese food. I had a flight to catch after this meal so I took it a little easy on my intake. I started off with sushi. For a buffet, the sushi was actually pretty decent. Set your expectations correctly and you will enjoy it. Everything else I tried throughout the buffet was good. No complaints from anyone in our party. Overall, for a Chinese buffet, this spot was not bad at all. I wouldn't seek it out or feel compelled to come back, but would not complain if the family brought us back here again.

I wish I could say better things about this place. I had high hopes going in. The building is huge, ut the tables are water damaged and the chairs are worn out. I will never come back here. My fiance said it best, the food is like warm left overs and not in the nice way. The food is mediocre at best. I am not one to spit out food, especially in a restaurant. I unfortunately had to spit things out with 3 different items I tried. Two were unable to be chewed. One was a spicy beef, I could not bite into the meat or cut it. The second calamari, rubber and hard, just don't. The last was a cake a nepolian I belive and it was stale and the cream was oddly solid. There was some decent food but nothing to write home about. The service isn't bad, but it was definitely awkward. The staff is attentive, but they will stand over you and speak to each other in their native language as if you are not there. I would say avoid this place.

We ate there this weekend and had the most horrible meal! We made a few comments to the waitress and she quietly said to tell the manager. We had noticed that besides the sushi being tasteless and the seaweed wraps were like fibrous rubber that all the staff had changed. The spicy tuna had a consistency of creamed tuna and NO taste. The maki rolls were all rice and that tough seaweed. I spoke to the manager about it and she just nodded and said she would tell the kitchen staff. I asked if they had new owners and of course.... They had sold out a month ago!!! We usually would eat there at least once a month, sometimes 2-3 times. I cannot see myself EVER eating there again under this new management!! I'm heartbroken because all of our kids would come back to NY and "demand" their fill of amazing sushi. Our friends from all over would ask to eat there also. I now have to find a new sushi place. They have 27 appetizers, 8 lovely salads, ( the spicy Kani was a popular one ), 7 types of soups, 9 different teriyaki items, special rolls and some really good quality sashimi- I got the tuna, salmon and yellowtail. The fish, gorgeous - melt in the mouth, fresh, generous portions and the accompanying wasabi and ginger was very, very good. I love that the house salad came with plenty of sesame ginger dressing( photo); the miso soup was hot and delicious. I ordered the pink lady special roll and it was outstanding. Again, everyone probably heard me moan in Ohio. 9 different desserts including ice cream, Oreo cheesecake. They have the best shrimp teriyaki with 20 pieces of big and juicy prawns grilled to perfection with that aroma and a light but addicting sauce over it. 5) Loved the iPad to order which went right to the kitchen vs the paper handwritten do overs. 6) Loved the service - attentive, caring, very polite, alert! 7) Loved that they offered both a senior(65 plus) or a military with ID discount( both 10 percent). 8) Loved the free parking right outside the back door. 9) Loved the decor, the colors and the vibe with a very cute bar. 10) Loved the clean men's restroom. Very nice and peaceful. I will definitely be back.
