B E W A R E VERY DISMISSIVE. Really, REALLY, disappointing. I'm 60 yrs old. Disabled and the 24/7/365 caretaker for my 90 yr old mother, living with DEMENTIA. It's just her and I. Which is an adventure in and of itself. But, it's just her and I. There's no man around. This guy DOES NOT have your best interest in mind. Damaged metal sprinklers. Replaced them with PLASTIC. My father never would have accepted PLASTIC. Plastic was replaced with metal but only because I insisted. He never told me the sprinklers were damaged. Luckily, I checked while they were at lunch. He never gave me options. Never discussed it. So let me add this as well... His communication skills... btw his name is Sotero (not friendly), his communication skills are just unavailable... nonexistent. With me anyway. He's just there to do as little as possible. So, he returned a week later to finish up cutting down a tree... He asked me if I wanted to speak with him when he was finished or just leave. I requested to see him once he was finished. Well, SURPRISE.. He left. No word. AND HE LEFT THE LOGS BEHIND. I was told they would remove EVERYTHING. Not true. He will not be welcomed back!!! You've been warned! read more

They removed what looked to be a 30+ ft Euphorbia candelabrum tree from my backyard. I just bought a condominium and realized through researching this plant that it should have never been planted there in the first place. The sap is toxic and the spike filled branches tend to fall off without warning. In fact one of the branches that fell off and had anyone been nearby it would've easily injured them severely. Once again a very happy customer! We contacted Manuel last minute a week before a party at our house and within the week, Manuel had his workers at the house trimming our palm trees. I hired them to prune two trees and remove a third. The price seemed fair and the reviews positive. They called me 4 days earlier than scheduled and asked if they could come that day. Being retired and being that I did not have any plans for that day I looked at that as a positive and said yes. During the course of removing the one tree they damaged my neighbor's vinyl fence. Unfortunately this was not noticed by me or them and was brought to my attention by my neighbor 2 days later. I contacted OC tree works right away and asked for them to come out take a look at it. They said they would. It's now been a few weeks and no one has showed up to look at it and no one has called me back with regards to this matter. I need to pay my neighbor for the fence and may need to go to Small Claims Court to get reimbursed from OC TREEWORX.. I originally intended to give them a good review. I live in the SGV area, but my dad recommended them when he was watching them chop off trees at my sister's house in OC. I've only called one other place and Manuel gave the best price so we went with his company. They showed up on the dot at 8am on a Saturday morning. His team worked really fast to remove a tree with huge roots. They leveled it off nicely too and were nice to let my dad save some of the grind up tree for compost. They also chopped off our back trees and cleaned it up nicely. They couldn't remove the tree trunks there because there was no way to get the machine to the back area. Everything about our experience was great. We had a tall Mexican Fan Palm at the top of a steep slope in our backyard. We couldn't see it well from our patio but neighbors above us had to endure looking at the tree. It required so much maintenance. We invited dozens of companies to give us a quote to remove.
