I reached out to Louis to ask about his availability for trimming my trees, and to my surprise, he was at my home within 15 minutes. Just 2.5 hours later, the trees were completely trimmed back, the overgrowth was cleared, and everything was cleaned up -- on a 103-degree day! Louis and his crew were quick, efficient, professional, and easy to work with. I was incredibly impressed with how much they accomplished in such a short amount of time, especially in the heat. I highly recommend Louis and will definitely use his services again! read more

Louis MC was working on a neighbors yard and we asked if they could quote us on trimming one palm tree. Removing 4 fronds and 2 seed pods. They came to our home and quoted $150 and said they would be over after finishing the neighbors (3pm). Time came and went, my wife called 4 times and sent a text message. We got a response at 4:30pm (an hour and a half later) saying that they now want to charge use $200. When we got the response, we could see that he viewed our original message at 3:15, but chose not to respond and tell us they would be late or try and raise the quote price. My wife responded to his message and said absolutely not. We do not do business with companies that have poor communication and try to raise their quote that they gave on the same day, no call/ no show..... How do these guys have any good reviews? Seems they have no called/ no show to a lot of people. read more

Louis has trimmed my palms every year for the past 5+ years. I have always found him to be highly responsive, competitively priced, and most importantly he does quality work. This year my date palm was large enough to be shaped, and I could not be happier with the outcome (as pictured). Louis also trimmed multiple queen palms, a Pygmy, a Bird of Paradise, a large hibiscus, and he shaped a Hong Kong lily. I am a very satisfied customer who highly recommends Louis for your tree cutting needs. read more

I found the best landscaping and tree trimming group around Orange County! I put a call into Louis and he called me back within a few hours. He drove up with a crew of three men. I told him I needed a fall cleanup, trimming shrubs and tackling a huge lemon tree with hundreds of lemons on them. I wanted them all gone. i've never seen three men work so hard!! within an hour and 15 minutes they were done! I have already given his number to two friends of mine tonight! 949-910-1607. read more

I needed some very over grown trees trimmed. I also had one removed due to some rodents that had moved into it. So, it was an urgent request. I received a text back right away (on a Sunday) and they came out a few hours later to quote the work. They were able to come out today (Monday) to complete the job. They were on time - worked all day , cut everything back and hauled the debris away, cleaned my yard and the neighbors' yards. Great job, reliable, punctual and hard working. They did all work as we had discussed. I would recommend them. read more

I hired Louis in 2017 to remove vines around the perimeter of the fence in my backyard, remove two ficus trees, remove two citrus trees, trim down junipers and trim down another tree on the side of my home. He did a phenomenal job and got the job done quickly. So two years later I decided to give him a call to help trim a tree that is growing too tall and too wide. I also wanted his help to shape the junipers since there were some falling branches. We scheduled to meet on a Thursday at 5pm. He was a no show. Turns out, I did not give him my address nor did he bother to confirm my address even though the time was set. I thought that was weird as usually someone will ask for the address when an appointment is set. So we had to reschedule because he was in la habra and he wouldn't make it to foothill ranch by 5pm. We rescheduled for the next day, a Friday afternoon at 4pm because I had work. Louis texts me at 2pm to let me know that he is at my house even though we had stated that we will meet at 4pm. I told him I was still at work and would not be home till 4pm. I quickly tried to rush home from work that day and got there by 3:30pm. I sent over a text to Louis and he showed up at my door a little after. I showed him the tree I needed to trim and he seemed annoyed that it was not as much of a money making job as the last gig because he said in an annoyed tone "just one tree?" As if the trimming of my tree was not worth his drive down to foothill ranch. He quoted me $300 to trim the tree and we met with an agreement of $250 which as you will soon see is way overpriced. I was inside my home and received a text around 4:43pm from Louis asking "everything okay?" I then realized he had already left which again, was weird. Why would you ask me is everything okay AFTER you had left? Wouldn't you check my approval before leaving? I go out to see the tree and it looks like it has been barely trimmed. Yes, he trimmed the top of the tree which we agreed on but the sides and the bottom of the tree do not look trimmed at all. The branches and the leaves are touching the side of the house! I had stated that I wanted my tree trimmed a lot so I won't have to trim it again for another year (till next summer). I don't think this will last me till the end of the year. It'll quickly grow back to a wild height and width. Lastly, it was a hot day and Louis asked me for some water. I gave him and his 2 employees 3 bottles of water. I really don't appreciate going to my backyard to find empty water bottles on top of my grill (see picture) and thrown on the ground by my house. There was a trash can just 3 feet away from where they were working. Either have the courteousy to throw away your trash or take it with you. As much as I appreciate and understand the hustle since everyone needs to make a living, I feel Louis's mentality is not in the right place. Everything is much too rushed and attention to details and quality of work are now lacking. read more

BEWARE! Their services may or may not be good, I don't know. But I do know even though their business license says "Fully licensed and insured" they are NOT. Their business card does not list their license number, the Contractors State License Board does not show them listed and he will not give his license # to you when you ask for it. No license means no insurance, since that's the first question insurance companies ask for. So hire at your own risk! read more

This guy came to my home with an ad and 10% discount for his service, quote me, set a time to come back and perform the service and NEVER showed up. I sent a follow up text and got no reply. He had an attitude because his flyer said 10% off his services. I mentioned that during pricing, so the job may not have been worth his false advertisement. Either way, be a man and just decline the job. Don't waste homeowners time and litter our property with your ads if your not willing to follow through. I do not recommend. :/ read more

I hired Louis Mc Landscaping Services to mulch, add compost, and trim palm trees. They were amazing! 6-28-18: Spoke in person with Louis for a quote and he took the job. Began work immediately for the next 8 hours. Left at 8pm without saying a word. 6-29-18: I called to check on status and Louis said he would have the grass delivered and placed on the following day. 6-30-18: *crickets *crickets (after taking the day off from work.) Multiple calls and messages left. 07-01-18: *crickets *crickets 07-02-18: Called multiple times, once answered and immediately hung up. This is what I'm left with Update: 07-05-18: Luis and his crew randomly showed up and acted as if nothing was wrong. I asked what happened over the past week and he said he had another job in Temecula and that he got a new phone. Despite what happened over the past week, I agreed to have his crew finish the job. We brought Louis MC Tree Service & Landscaping back after he performed a clean, fast tree trimming two years ago. This time we asked him to refurbish and update our backyard landscape after a couple years of heavy rains and neglect which brought about weeds and unrestrained growth. The before and after photos below tell the story of Louis's superior service. He brought two hard-working gardeners and his industrious wife Yari to renovate and beautifully restore our backyard in just three days. He gave us an honest, fair price and delivered carefully detailed work. Louis Mc is someone who we will bring back whenever we need landscaping or tree service. read more

Great job by these guys. fast and professional on palm tree cleanup. Would hire again!

I called Louis and he was able to came out to give me a quote 30 mins later! He was friendly and open to price negotiation as well. He and his crew did a superb job trimming down 6 big trees around my house as discussed. The job took 3 hours including cleanup, but for some reason his team disappeared for a good hour and a half after that with the truck still parked in the front. Total cost for the job was $600, which sounds fair considering one of the big tree costed $120 for trimming before from a different landscaper. Some things I would suggest could be improved: 1/ Wear protective gears (respirator, glove, etc) 2/ Have some kind of paperwork write up/ invoice. We did everything verbally. 3/ Accept other forms of payment beside checks and cash only read more

Today was the third time I hired Louis. He has done various jobs for me around my home, including trimming large palm trees, removing a huge amount of ivy, trimming an overgrown hedge, and fixing several broken sprinklers in my front yard. Since Louis fixed and adjusted my sprinklers, my front yard garden looks beautiful! I'm so happy with his work. What I appreciate the most is how friendly Louis is and how quickly he responds to my requests for service. He usually responds within a few hours and will come that day or the next! I recommended him to my neighbor and he showed up the same day to remove one of her trees. She was very satisfied also! Louis MC and his 2 man crew (Manuel and Oricello) did a phenomenal job on some trees in our back yard at a very reasonable price!! The job didn't include stump removal (much more money) but it didn't matter due to the tree(s) location(s). We plan to have them return on a later date to top some more trees. I do recommend this crew for their price, their work and their speed! read more

I needed some major work done all around my house. From palm tree clean up to removing palm and ficus tress. Even cutting back trees from our home. Louis returned my initial call within a few minutes and arranged a time to quote within a couple hours. He reviewed the entire property and made suggestions, giving me a final, detailed written quote. The next day, he arrived at the exact time with a truck to haul away the debris and 4 additional men. He estimated that they'd be done at 4 and, sure enough, at 4, they were cleaning up. In one day, they trimmed five large palms, removed 4 others, removed 10 ficus trees including roots, removed three giant bird of paradise plants and trimmed several trees by our roofline. They removed every bit of debris (two runs to dump) and swept, blew and washed down the areas. Louis was even cleaning my pool. (He had already notified me that the dust from cutting down the palms was going to get into the pool, so I didn't expect him to clean it up.) In the end, Louis and the team were great. The prices were fair and the work was top notch. I won't be using Yelp for a tree trimmer anymore. Louis is it! read more

I can't thank Louis MC enough for the exceptional services he delivered! I have 2 *GIANT* 65 year old trees in my backyard (Brazilian Pepper and an Ash tree). Hubby contacted multiple tree service companies for quotes to have them trimmed and laced vs. removed. *OMG some of those quotes nearly made me faint!!* Louis came out the same day and gave us a very reasonable price for trimming and clean up. His price was so good, we even could afford to have some hedges and old stumps removed and ground out! He really worked with our budget and we appreciated his honesty. Well... then we were on a landscaping roll, why stop there? We asked him if he could help us on the front yard too. Louis removed and leveled out our old weedy front lawn in just one day!! He was very careful and cleaned up all waste and debris (even took care to make sure our neighbors yards didn't get dirty). Now it's time to start fresh with some drought tolerant plants and hardscape. We now know who to call when it's time for more projects! BOTTOM LINE: Louise did a fantastic tree trimming, weed removal and general clean up of our front and back yards for a GREAT PRICE in only 3 days time!!! read more
