Furthermore, it has Austin's Pizza…read more Right after they eased the lockdown, many restaurants still were closed, yet Austin's Pizza provided a sit-down eating place for those, like someone in my family, who crave that experience. Although I haven't visited the Target at this shopping complex, I have relied on Target for years, so I imagine this Target location is no different. The shopping complex and area is nice too. How about 4 stars?

To the point they probably should have helmets, mouth guards, and safety vests to keep themselves from being killed by a run away cart in the parking lot. While this is trivial, it is a special kind of stupid. Apparently, this august management team took away wine carriers because customers were putting items other than wine into these special receptacles of happiness and they felt they were losing money (I know it's trivial but...). This HEB is dead center in one of the most affluent parts of Austin. It is also host to a proportionate number of day drinking soccer moms and career frustrated dads that appreciate their wine and olive oil carriers in one convenient delivery mechanism. The Austin City Council has already made it more difficult to shop by taking away plastic bags, now HEB is worried about profit margins on wine sherpas. You are already too expensive, limited, and crowded. Why make it harder to shop? Sprouts and Trader Joe's just make it easy. Remember, it's the small things that make a difference.

Shopping at a large indoor mall is a completely different experience from strolling through a…read moreneighborhood strip center. Over the past two weeks, I've had the chance to enjoy both, and each has its own unique charm. Let's start with Barton Creek Square mall, which has great customer service and stores at a variety of price ranges. It's a sprawling indoor mall filled with multi-level stores, comfortable air conditioning, and welcome relief from our Texas heat. Once you step through one of the main entrances, you're immersed in a world of shopping where it's easy to lose track of time (retail, jewelry and toy stores, hair salons and always a food court). You can wander from one end of the mall to the other, browse store after store, and simply enjoy the experience without worrying about the weather outside. Walking through the mall stirred up a wave of positive memories. As a teenager, the mall was the place to be. It was where friends gathered on weekends, where paychecks from part-time jobs quickly turned into the latest outfit for a dance, date, or movie night. It was also where a shopping trip wasn't complete without grabbing a quick bite from favorites like Panda Express or Chick-fil-A before heading back to browse a few more stores. This visit brought back those fond memories to the forefront. I found myself strolling from one side of the mall to the other, peeking into stores that caught my eye and enjoying the simple pleasure of window shopping. I didn't leave with any shopping bags, but I did leave with something just as valuable...a pleasant afternoon and a reminder that sometimes the best shopping trips aren't about what you buy, but the memories they bring back.

I wasn't sure of it at first because I had never heard of this place because I live in California but soon after buying a received a confirmation email and my curiosity got the best of me and I looked this page up on Facebook and decided to give them a like. A man named David who I can only assume is the or one of the head honchos of the store got back to me about the status of the jacket and was very nice and professional! I will never forget that and include this anecdote any time I get asked about the cool jacket. If I was in Texas I would definitely come here often but since I am not I can only leave a banger of a review for a banger of a shop. Spend your money here I definitely did and likely will again

A few newer shops I hadn't seen since my last visit and a few others that have since closed, but the old loves remained including the amazing Restoration Hardware here that is FOUR stories and loaded with every pretty thing you could ever want. Also some higher end jewelry stores like Gucci and David Yurman here. This is a huge complex with several parking decks and areas and it was extremely crowded by around noon-1pm on a Sunday. The Domain is now a sought-after destination - where shopping (casual and high-end), dining, night life and other fun experiences converge. You can go shopping, meet a friend for happy hour, or do something completely fun and adventurous in the course of the day or evening. One of my Finance groups hosts a monthly Finance meeting at The Domain. Shopping...some of my favorite fun stores are at the Domain such as J. Crew and Anthropologie. I love these two stores because they have unique goods at great prices, in general, and specifically, have amazing sales. If you are a big baller, you can shop at stores like Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany's and whole host of other high stores. I'm a tiny baller. Smile. Dining - At the Domain you can get reasonably priced foods to high end fare. Some of my favorite places to dine in the Domain include Glorias, Flower Child, Paul Martin's and Haywire. Important to note, most restaurants have great happy hours and associated amazing prices. Nightlife - Some say that The Domain (especially on Rock Rose Avenue) is the new 6th Street (known for its bars and Live music). I would not venture out that far. However, if you want to party in the wee hours of the night, you can do it at The Domain. Fun Experiences - You can transport yourself to fun such as IPIC movie theatre, Museum of Illusion or the Battle of the Games. Last weekend I discovered the Barkin Creek Dog Kitchen & Bath...so, The Domain is not only for humans. Love The Domain...I am sure I will see you there!
