If you're looking for a spa like experience, please proceed carefully down the stairs and back to your vehicle. This is not the place for you. If you're looking for a no frills setting where you'll leave feeling better than you did when you came AND can still afford a cup of coffee and some groceries, then this is the place for you. I've had reflexology once or twice as an add on to a traditional massage and have done my research regarding its benefits, so when last week hit me like a ton of bricks, I figured I would give this a try rather than killing my liver with a bottle of Aleve. I booked a forty-five (45) minute reflexology session and a twenty (20) minute add on where you get a choice of area(s) to focus on, and I chose shoulders. I saw Kim who gave me the choice of doing my shoulders or feet first and since my shoulders felt like I had been carrying a boulder for three months, needless to say, I went with shoulders. Although the massage is done seated in a recliner, she was able to work every kink and knot out of my neck and shoulder area to the point where I've been pain free for almost a week which is absolutely incredible. My reflexology appointment was blissful and I left feeling almost like I had taken a vacation. The set up itself is very no frills. There are sheets hanging between you and other patrons, so don't expect not to hear noises from the front (phone calls, other customers), or the person next to you. Initially the woman next to me was a chatty cathy, but it wasn't anything earth shattering. If you're looking for a reasonably priced but quality place to go I highly recommend this place. I surely will be a repeat customer as my liver is grateful for the week off from taking high dosages of Aleve and other non-inflammatory medications. To Note: You can make appointments online but they recommend calling instead for easier booking. Cash and credit cards accepted. Free parking available on site. read more

Ever wish when you go to get a full body massage that they would just spend the entire time rubbing your feet? Well look no further, you have found your place! And no nudity involved! I've been here a few times and kept meaning to write a review but by the time I get home after my blissful foot rub, all I can think about is napping and then I forget about it and the vicious cycle starts all over again. So the last time I went, I purposely did a "Draft a Review" so the next time I came on Yelp, I would remember! Every single person I've gotten my foot rubbed from did a great job. Now, let me just forewarn you that this is not your "Honey, massage my feet," kind of place. There are times where you're sitting in their loungy chair, just relaxing and enjoying the massage...then...BAM! All of a sudden they hit this spot on your foot and your sphincter puckers, your eyes squeeze and you re-actively want to bitch slap the person that's hurting you. But no, that would be grounds for getting you kicked out (I'm sure!) so you tolerate that crunching in your foot while they rub it and you politely smile and say, "Owwwwwwww, hmmm. What area of my body is that?" When you could really care less that they're telling you that you have a fatty liver or you eat too much salt. This last time, I requested for Tomo because I heard a couple of friends talk about her and I have to say out of everyone, she is the least painful. LOL I'm looking forward to my next appointment and just dozing off in my chair until...BAM! Enjoy! read more

HOLY HELL!!! 5 stars and truly a "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" The BF and I have tired feet. We're both on our feet at work (he more than I... at least I get to sit down when charting or not busy)... and instead of a full body massage, I was on the hunt to find something focused on the feet. Yelp, you are wonderful in all ways possible and without you I wouldn't have found Oasis Spa! Located on Kona St across from Ala Moana Center. You can park at Ala Moana and walk over, or, there is a private lot with a decent amount of stalls right in front of the 2 story complex. We arrived at 1020AM so there was ample parking right in front. I made the appointment a week in advance for the BF and I. The spa itself is very small, seating for probably 4 people to get massages. The areas are separated by white curtains as everyone else has mentioned, so you are able to hear the conversation next to you, as well as the reception desk (people checking in/out), the phone conversations... and even the establishments next door. There is soothing music playing and to be honest we weren't distracted by the other conversations that we heard. We were seated in large oversized white chairs (VERY COMFY BTW)... and we were both given hot green tea in coffee mugs. I was even given a little blanket over my lap! :) Both our feet were put into a huge portable tub of a little more than warm but less than hot water which felt great. Then... they start. And ohhhh maaaaaan. It is OH SO PAINFUL. These tiny Japanese women... don't let them fool you. They have some STRONG HANDS. I was grimacing and using deep breathing techniques because it was hurrrrtiiinngggg!!! So reflexology is massaging pressure points in the foot which correspond to different muscles and organs in the body. My massage therapist Tomo (who is FABULOUS btw)... explained that where I felt the most pain was associated with my bladder (true), back (true), stomach (true), brain (true), and knees (not necessarily true for me but she said if the back hurts the knees will hurt). I was trippin out that all the parts that HURT LIKE HELL actually corresponded to places that I've had issues with on my body! And for the record, I inquired what pain on the foot (relating to the brain meant)... and she said it could be from a lack of sleep or from stress (ding ding correct!)... if the pressure is too hard you can tell them and they will lighten it up. She did lighten it up a little at first (after seeing my grimacing and wincing) but I sucked it up after a while and just endured the pain. She started on the left foot (I'm left handed) and it HURT, but by the time she got to the right foot it wasn't so bad. We opted for the foot and calf massage... and the calf massage was amazing. I was in HEAVEN! :) The hot towel on the feet/calves at the end was wonderful! She educated us and it was quite interesting to see the painful spots and where it correlates to on the body. She also stated that we had so much tightness and tension because we're on our feet all the time and the toxins pull down into our feet. She suggested that we return weekly to ease the tension and aid the toxins to move up into the bladder to be excreted... but if that was too pricey then every 2 weeks until we reach a maintenance phase. My BF LOVED his experience, and he wants to go back every week LOL! (I'm shooting for every 2 weeks!) My massage therapist was Tomo. My BF's massage therapist... I can't recall her name and I don't know how to spell it. She is an older Japanese female who didn't speak very much English. My BF LOVED her, but unfortunately (for my BF) so is going back to Japan... to start the same business! How exciting and wonderful for her! They do offer a 10% kamaaina discount. Prices for massages are: 30 minutes - $35 (sole) 45 minutes - $50 (sole and calf) 60 minutes - $65 (all 64 pressure points on the soles, as well as the calf massage) You can also add a shoulder, neck, arm, hand, or head massage for: 10 minutes - $15 20 minutes - $30 30 minutes - $40 If you make an apointment 10 days in advance via the website, you get 10% off. I'm not sure if they honor kamaaina discounts in addition to this discount, you'd have to inquire. Make an appointment because they are BUSY!!! While we had our session, people were in and out and calling in. A wonderful and new experience that we are glad we tried... and we are sure to be back... in less than a week lol!!! GO AND TRY!!! read more

"So tight, yo!" That's what my reflexologist kept saying over and over. "Don't forget to breath." That's what I had to keep telling myself so I wouldn't pass out from the excruciating pain! This was my first experience having foot reflexology and boy let me tell you it hurt! However it's one of those pains that you know will feel amazing after if only you can survive the process! haha Cut scene: A year ago I received a gift certificate for Oasis Spa from my boss as a thank you for our hard work and relief to us for standing on our feet all night. And of course, I left it in a drawer and forgot about it until I found it a few days after it expired. I was at Ala Moana so dropped in to see if I could possibly still used it. Yumi at the front desk was extremely polite and agreeable and offered that if I could come in this week, they'd honor the GC. For a free massage, I could be available right now! But I was impressed nonetheless for the accommodation. I arrived for my appointment and they weren't too busy but there was a lot of commotion that distracted from the relaxing atmosphere. There was a curtained off section but they sat me in the open middle area. They gave me some hot tea and rolled up my pants (* note to self, next time wear shorts). I settled into the big black chair thinking it would be a relaxing hour of massage, but instead was exposed to high intensity (but good) pain. The tiny Japanese woman that was working on my feet held power and strength in her hands to knock down a majestic sequoia! Who would have known?! But, for the next hour, she cleaned, scrubbed, lotioned, massaged and shiatsu-ed my feet and calves. All the while explaining the areas of my feet and how they related to other parts of the body and contributed to ailments in those areas; just because I had pain in my feet. Amazing. It was a great experience. And not only did I learn a lot, but I also felt better all around. They offer shoulder and head massages, in addition to combo packages. Check out the website for specials. I look forward to going back and hopefully the second time around the pain getting to pleasure won't be so great! read more

My search of a reflexology place has come to an end. My friends rave about San Francisco's Chinatown having inexpensive reflexology clinics that are awesome. I rave about Tokyo's Odaiba shopping complex having a good reflexology clinic. I tried Aveda's reflexology and it was like having gentle Swedish massage on your feet. Not effective as reflexology. I found Kenko Sokushin online & read the Yelp reviews before popping in to try them. They were good & I was very satisfied. Then I tried Oasis Spa and now I'm hooked. Wow! Tomo did a whiz bang job on my feet! Unlike Kenko, she asked questions about my diet, stress level and overall well being. I explained that one part of my foot was "stiff" and she told me it had something to do with my left eye. She kneeded & released knots in my foot like no one's business. It was amazing! Yes, it did hurt but what doesn't kill you only relaxes you later, right? hahaha! The spa is very unassuming. It's a nice tiny place with oversized leather chairs and matching ottomans. The waiting room is just a few chairs and the "walls" are sheer curtains. I didn't mind that I could hear the other customer talking to her therapist. Tomo was very friendly and we struck up a nice conversation. I highly recommend this place to others, especially those who are kamaaina since there is a 10% discount. read more

I went on a trip to Beijing, China in the fall of 2014 and experienced my first authentic reflexology foot massage. I was so hooked on it, I went back 3 times in a week. Since Ive returned to Hawaii, Ive been looking around for a place in Honolulu that offers this service. Ive found it at Oasis Spa! Its very similar to what I experienced in China and the therapists there were actually trained in China. Now if youve never had a reflexology foot massage before, you may be in for a surprise. It can be quite painful at times, but that just means you have an area of the body thats a problem area. If you are feeling pain during your foot massage, your masseuse will inform you what area of of the body corresponds to the section on your foot. A typical length of time is a 45 minute session and itll run about $45, but trust me when its all over youll feel like a million bucks! They are located on Kona Street across the Ala Moana Shopping Center Bus Stop, above Ailana Shave Ice. Now this place is nothing fancy, in terms of decor or ambience and at first youll endure a bit of pain, but later you will have happy feet! read more

My feet are by far the most ticklish part of my body. I can withstand getting tickled on my feet for maybe 5 seconds before my foot goes flying out of your hand and in your face. I'm kidding about the face part but seriously, I'm really ticklish. So knowing this I was a little curious as to how my feet would react getting massaged since this was my first official foot massage. Oasis is located on the second floor of the shopping complex on Kona street. Right above Ailana Shave Ice. (For those who haven't tried out Ailanas, go and try it out!!) I took my grandma for her birthday because 1. she loves massages 2. whats better than a foot massage after a flight from Japan? I had made a reservation for one 45 minute sessions for myself and a 60 minute session for my Grandma. The place isn't really a spa persay but they did do a good job with the space they have. Their white chairs are more like one-person sofas that are very comfy. The walls are painted white and they have a blue tapestry hanging over the lights. They also bring you out a warm cup of tea which was a nice touch. They soak your feet in this warm lavender water to heat your muscles up before beginning the massage. The Japanese women massaging your feet may look small and skinny but their hands are far from weak. As they are massaging your feet they may point out places on your feet which are connected to a body part that may be aching, tired, or stressed. It may hurt at times but withstand the pain (unless its making you cry), it will be so relaxing in the end. My grandma actually dozed off for a little while. She's so cute. After leaving the spa, my feet felt so light and relaxed. (They were never even remotely ticklish, thank god. That would have been embarrassing.) I can now see why my parents and my grandma are foot massage addicts. If I had a disposable income I would be here every week since I'm standing on my feet at work for most of the time. My 45 min massage was $50 and my grandma's 60 min massage was $65. Not bad since they also offer a 10% kamaaina rate. I also just saw on their website that if you book your reservation online 10 days ahead, they are giving a 10% discount. Sweet deal. The staff is great and friendly and very professional. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time because they get busy! YELP 365: 041/365 read more

The best massage experience I've ever had. This is the first time I didn't need to request a pressure adjustment. FYI I love tough, run me over with a truck, on the verge of tears pressure and my husband likes kittens licking him but both our therapists found perfect pressures for both of us. He was completely knocked the pho out within 10-15 minutes. We just got the reflexology 60 minutes and what a deal for $60. My husband and I are seriously contemplating having standing weekly reservations. We are fans. read more

Yes! All the good reviews were true! As I stepped through the front doors I was overcome with a sense of peace. I was greeted promptly by my first name and the pain and relaxation began right away. The foot and calf massage was great from start to finish! You just have to try it to understand - almost like after the heartache of a break-up, you soon realize that you are better off and relieved of that excess baggage! =P It hurt so good, I have to come back. Love the pain!!! read more

Want to know the secret to a girl's heart? An amazing foot rub--and although this is the first reflexology foot rub I've experienced--it won't be my last. I plan on becoming a regular for this indulgence for sure. Don't let the slight Japanese ladies at Oasis Spa fool you, they've got some power in those amazing hands! Their reflexology foot massages can be slightly sore--in the trouble spots that they try to work out for you, but every move of their fingers feels oh so amazing. They will leave you feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of the week! Oh, and make sure to mention if you're a kama'aina for 10% off! read more

No matter who your therapist is, this place gives the best, most thorough foot massage ever! It is true reflexology, working every inch of your foot and lower legs too. Each sore spot is healing different parts of your body. You can also add neck and shoulder, but I usually get an hour of only foot. read more

By far and away the best reflexology I've yet to experience. My wife and I have searched high and low for an equal but we cannot find one. Tomo and Yuki are so warm and pleasant as they break your feet into submission. You'll experience some pain while you're there, but I promise the moment its all done, you'll feel like you're walking on clouds. When I come to Hawaii, this is one of the first places I go!!! read more

Wow, what an awesome spot! U know I scheduled a session with fumiko, I came 10 mins late due to whatever issues I had and she gave me a full 1 hour never even thought of shortening me, The japanese super accommodating mannerism are shown at each step of the session from the tea and greeting when u get there, till the very end of the session, And now to the treatment it self Hard knuckle somewhat painful pressure point treatment, They know what they doing and u can ask for less pressure u don't have to suffer ( unless dats ur thing ) and they will adjust to ur liking. No glove no super oily sticky and smelly jell or cream like must places They use no scent cream water based and its just plain awesome 10 % kamaainna doesn't hurt either.:) read more

Excellent service n great atmosphere even location is great because abundance of parking. I'd highly recommend this place. Staff knows what to do, they ask if massage is not to hard or if you prefer harder or softer, just let them know. They offer hot tea but you can ask for plain water. They're soft spoken yet you hear them. Yes, must make appointment and be on time because they're popular by demand and limited space. Although foot massage is their main service, partial upper body: neck, upper arm, shoulders and partial upper back massage is an addition that's worth it. I'll also highly recommend it. It was awesome! Whenever we're in HI, it's one of my "must do!" in Hawaii thing! If it's a bridal shower party, go there after your mani & pedi with a 24-hour break in between to allow it to solidly dry because your feet will be soaked first for a while. Go, make your appointment and enjoy! read more

I LOVE foot reflexology. It's very therapeutic and good for you. Thank you to our good friend that treated us to this place. It was the first time for me and my other good friend. Located on Kona Street on the same side as the BOH parking lot, turn into the 3rd driveway PAST the BOH parking lot. You'll see 2 separate set of stairs leading to the 2nd flr. They are in the middle on the 2nd flr. You can't miss it. There are different options to choose with the foot massage. I went with only the foot massage while my friends chose the foot and shoulder/neck combo. Please visit their website for more info. http://www.oasisspahi-usa.com/course.php Customers are all in one room but it's still very comfortable. They will first soak your feet in a bucket of warm water. Then they will dry your feet and start your massage. Keep in mind if this is your first reflexology, it will be painful. But each time you get this treatment, the pain will be less and less but there will still be pain. My therapist had strong hands and in the end, I felt good. If you've never had reflexology, please visit this place to give it a try. I'm sure you you'll be happy you did. I'm looking forward to my next appt. :) 2017 #29 read more

Be prepared.. these girls are hardcore!!! I wanna cry that it hurt so good. Husband got me a g/c since i worked 7days straight for a few weeks and i believe it was for 45mins reflex and 30mins shoulder massage. I thought my effing shoulder was gonna snap off! i was in soo much pain, i was getting more stiff haha and im on the bigger side but sister worked me out like dough. I woke up the next day feeling like sh*t but felt soo much better after. Litterally limp noodle without a care in the world. Highly recommend! read more

After receiving an awesome foot massage while I was in Las Vegas, I came home and sought out for something equally as great. Oasis Spa came up in my search for reflexology and after reading their awesome reviews (including one from my good friend Henry S.), I decided this place was worth a try. Unfortunately, I put this place in the back of my mind because I could never seem to find the time (or extra moolah) to make an appointment. I finally bit the bullet the other day and decided that I needed to treat myself. I was lucky that I got a same day appointment and went in right away. I really enjoyed the mint tea that was presented to me upon my arrival and combined with me soaking my feet in warm water just sent relaxing shivers through my body. My masseuse was very soft spoken and polite while she started to work on my feet. Don't be fooled by their gentle voices because their hands pack a punch while they work on your feet. I instinctively yanked my foot back after she started the kneading and she immediately asked me if the pressure was too strong. I said no because I wanted a nice strong massage and not the "fake massage" that they give you in a pedicure. I figured I could be able to take the pain...and it's the good kind of pain, right? Halfway through, I had to ask her to lighten her touch just a tad because I was literally breaking out in sweat because of the pain. Halfway through, I asked if I could do a add on shoulder massage because I usually get a lot of neck and shoulder pain. I only did a ten minute but two minutes into the massage I was wishing I could get another hour of this. I can take a lot more pressure on my shoulders than I can in my feet so her strong arms and fingers felt great against my tight muscles. The ten minutes flew by super fast and I was disappointed when my time was up. I got a kama'aina discount and a stamp card to use on my next visits which are both great incentives for me to return. The only reason why I gave them four stars instead of the five is because in my opinion, it is a teensy bit expensive. As far as massages go, if they're under a dollar a minute, then its pretty reasonable. But I got a 45 minute foot massage for $50 with a add on ten minutes of shoulders for $15 so it's not unreasonable buuuuuutttt I think there are cheaper ones out there. read more

Clean, friendly, comfortable place for amazing Reflexology. The staff and owner know what they're doing, and I always leave so relaxed, even though while its happening I am not to relaxed. I got the neck and shoulder massage add on - wow! Take a friend and share the experience, they have side by side chairs too. Love Oasis Spa!! They go above and beyond and deserve a true 5 star review. read more

My goodness that hurt. It's been years since I had a reflexology session. The task this past weekend was to break up the pounds of gravel embedded in the bottom of my feet. I read a review where someone fell asleep. Wow. Fainting, more like. They say the more often you do this, the less the build up. And you assume the pain level drops. My feet are sore to the touch 2 days later. And according to my kind and empathetic tech, my pancreas, neck and small intestine are a mess. If you think this is a relaxing moment, think again. I consider it a therapeutic session. I had the 30 min foot session. Just the right amount of time as an initiation. And I added the 20 min shoulder work. Oh, that was good. More gravel found up there too. Ay-yah! read more

I was lucky to get a foot massage/reflexology treatment today by Masa on very short notice. Im on my feet most of the day so my feet and legs were feeling very messed up, crooked, sore, tired and unaligned. After an hour treatment from Masa, my feet and legs felt brand new and so much more in balance and my whole body in general great. I will definately be back again, much more sooner than later to see Masa or Tomo or one of the other therapist who are all very talented. Thank you everyone at Oasis Spa, you always treat me kindly and make me feel so much better. read more

Oasis Spa - Great tasting tea too! - Massage Therapy Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Iron knuckles. If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I would have sworn on a stack of bibles that the little Japanese lady had iron knuckles on as she dug into my feet. But her weapon was simply her skinny little fingers. Two things kept going through my mind as I received my treatment - John Mellencamp's song - Hurt So Good and Emeril Lagasse exclaiming BAM when you least expected it. I went to Oasis for therapeutic foot reflexology as I was knotted up worse than the Queen Mary tied up at dock and definitely had a lot of toxins to get rid of .....and I definitely got what I paid for. This is not a SPA where you're pampered and made pretty. Yes, they treat you well - a nice organic herbal tea is served when you first sit down in large comfy chairs. But reflexology is a therapeutic treatment so expect an ocassional (or frequent) BAM with those iron knuckles. There is not too much privacy as areas are separated by curtains only and the receptionist area is adjacent to the treatment area. I could tell that the other customers there were regulars, so they were not frightened away by my howls of pain. I also got a add on neck & shoulder massage which similarly brought ocassional BAM moments, but all my knots were removed! Kamaaina's are treated to a 10% discount and they offer a punch card where you can get $20 off a treatment after spending $300. I will return... read more

Reflexology hurts so good! This is perfect if youre on your feet a lot or just need some me time to relax. The ladies there do an amazing job and i like how they dont try to make small talk. The tea at the beginning is a nice touch and makes the experience even more relaxing. The chairs are also extremely comfy and i definitely drifted off to lala land a few times. If you have ticklish feet or have a low pain tolerance, this may not be for you. The spa is located across Ala Moana on Kona st, upstairs of a ramen restaurant. Theres lots of parking which is a plus. They also give kamaaina rates..i think it was 10% off. I recommend the 60 min. treatment...your feet, body, and mind will thank you! read more

WOW! Thank you Yuki for reaching out to me and getting me to give Oasis Spa another try. This was what I expected and more from a reflexology session and it did not disappoint!!! Oasis is basically an open studio with curtains to divide you from the other customers. 4 chairs only and especially busy on the weekends, so if you want a weekend spot, book early! I had no problems parking with my scooter, but parking in that lot can get tricky. Yuki gave me the 60 min massage and it was painfully relaxing. She starts off with a LOT of pressure, but be vocal about the amount of pain you can tolerate. But as I say, no pain no gain right?! I should mention that she was getting my circulation going very well since I was sweating just sitting there! As she massaged my feet, she pointed out what body part was associated with the point of massage and what I could do to help improved my health. Towards the end, she even suggested what points to massage myself to help relieve my biggest symptomatic health problems as of the session. I will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you again Yuki!!! You've converted me and I can't wait to come back. read more

Located right across from Ala Moana Shopping center, this place is a hidden gem! Called ahead the morning of and made an appointment at 2pm. Was running a little behind so called back a few hours later to move it down to 2:30pm. Reception said not a problem. Went inside and you're greeted with the reception desk. The room is quaint but inviting. Each massage area is separated by shower curtains (does the job but definitely needs to be updated). The seats are amazingly comfortable and you're given real good tea while your feet soaks in a bucket of hot water (it's literally a trash can with liner that holds hot water). A little thrown off but like the shower curtains, it provides it's purpose. Kaori was my massage therapist and confirmed that I wanted a 30 min massage. I closed my eyes and slowly dozing off into relaxation. Kaori was GREAT! A little thrown off that they all wore gloves when massaging as I know it makes a difference in the feel without it but still did it's job. Kaori hit all the pressure points and really took care to make sure she gave my feet it's much needed attention. Overall, wish I opted for a longer session but I will be back! My feet felt immediately better. Definitely worth a try if you've never been here. read more

Its not the greatest for sure but not too bad! I kind of wish they did it harder. Maybe Im a bit spoiled since I have been to a few in Thailand, Taiwan japan etc but I wont be rushing back. I was excited to see this place due to the ratings but again, not too bad. Just not good enough to compete with the overseas places. reservations are recommended for sure. THere is good parking too. Its not bad folks. I dont want the 3 stars to reflect it as a bad place. I just know that there are better ones. Whether they are in Hawaii or not, I dont know. read more

They've moved and I've had an opportunity to experience just about every one of their massage specialist! Each is fantastic and so personable. If I can't get an appoint at Oasis I head over to Zudao but Oasis is still my first choice!! Like the new location...the parking is so much easier as well!! read more

Want a place where you can just relax and let your earthly troubles melt away...well look no further. Oasis is indeed an oasis in the middle of bustling Honolulu. They specialize in reflexology...and although I don't necessarily buy into the the theory behind reflexology..I do ENJOY the hell out of the massage. I mean it's an hour long foot massage! It can be a little painful at times...but a good kind of painful ;-) Although the store itself is small, they've done a great job of curtaining off each area so you do have a good sense of privacy. If you just need a 1/2 hour to an hour of me/relaxation time, this is the spot read more

"Is the pressure okay?" My answer: "Yes, it's a pleasure pain." This place is no joke...I was cringing in pain but knew it was a good pain. I run a lot so my legs are always very tight... so I thought a foot massage sounded great. Don't be fooled by the soft spoken Japanese women... they have some strength in those hands! I'm not quite convinced as to whether reflexology really works in the sense that it's connected to the organs in your body. But what I do know is that you got muscles in your feet and it does feel good to have them massaged. I added on a 20 minute neck and shoulder massage... it was wonderful! My only gripe... wish that they would've worked on my calves a bit more. read more

I had high hopes because of the yelp reviews, but I wasn't so thrilled. I got the hour full foot reflexology for 65$ and added a shoulder massage. They start with the shoulders, but the masseuse really did an average job and she kept doing a head scratching action that wasn't relaxing. She also really only just did the tops of my shoulders, neck, and head-the upper back would've been nice! Then, she switched the my feet and legs. It was meh. I asked her some questions about reflexology and the areas she was hitting, but she didn't answer with any detail and she spoke too softly. Overall, she was pleasant, but I wish she would've explained more and had more enthusiasm. read more

OASIS REFLEXOLOGY SPA ** This business is located in the Bank of Hawaii Bldg - Ala Moana Center - 1441 Kapiolani Bl, 96814. 4th Fl room 415. ** Oasis Spa has a wonderful, well trained staff; AND, provides true Reflexology. It has been DECADES since I last experienced real Reflexology. There are plenty of spas/practitioners who claim to have the training but do not. Just because they put up a picture of a foot does not meant they know what to do with it. A standard spa foot massage leaves your legs feeling stimulated for an hour or so. Reflexology is a completely different animal. It is a pressure treatment, and can be painful as certain reflex points on the foot and calf are stimulated to treat different infirmities of the body. Despite an old back injury, I had been constantly touring and walking for the previous 6 days and now could barely move without intense pain. The spa fills up quickly, and it took a few days to get an appointment. I was lucky enough to get an early 60 minute treatment the day before I left. It was intense but more than worth it. The only real issue I had was their treatment rooms are not insulated for sound and outside noises can be distracting. The benefits from my first treatment at Oasis were ongoing, and so far have lasted over a week. Downside: I'm now over 2500 miles away. BEST REFLEXOLOGY FOOT MASSAGE EVER! Please don't let the little Japanese ladies fool you, they have knuckles and hands of steel! Tucked away in a little shopping center across Ala Moana, parking is easy - there's a lot right outside the building where you can park for free. The ladies who work here are super accommodating - and, if you ask, will tell you exactly why what areas hurt and why. Just make sure that you drink lots and lots and lots of water after your massage! I'm addicted and I'll definitely come back for more! read more

I have researched reflexology, but this was my first treatment. I was impressed by every aspect of this business. The process of making the appointment online was very convenient, and they gave a courtesy call confirming the appointment the day before. Although the spa is small and located in an old building, the treatment areas are arranged to be relaxing and private, and are very clean. The person who did my treatment was very pleasant and accommodating, but also remained focused and professional. I am not a professional, but it was obvious that my reflexologist ( if that is the correct term) was very competent. She asked questions to guide the treatment to be most beneficial to me, and the therapeutic result exceeded my expectations. I hope to return as often as possible! read more

What an amazing treat! I received a GC for a 60 minute foot reflexology session as a gift with the strong recommendation that I would be in for a painful treat. As a runner, I constantly deal with foot pain, tightness and other issues. My therapist was awesome as she systematically broke down my scar tissue and renewed my feet. I can handle a very strong massage, but her hands were like steel so if you are a bit more delicate, be sure to let them know about the pressure you like. The massage itself was eye opening as she progressed through her routine. I didn't realize there were so many unique points to hit on the feet and toes. I frequently looked up in wonderment as she hit a new area. One example, the tip of the big toe, WOW! read more

I love this place! I was introduced to this establishment by a friend and it really doesn't get better than this. I've been to a lot of different reflexology places in California, and this is by far my favorite. I can't lie, the pain can sometimes be unbearable; but no pain no gain, right? The shoulder massage is an awesome add on, I love their technique. I wear heels almost everyday, so the balls of my feet are hurting most of the time. Sometimes I want to cry from the pain, but upon completion my feet feel heavenly. Like new, even. Also, I love the way this place has been decorated. I always feel like I'm in a cabana on the beach. A+ for ambiance, A+ for technique and relief. read more
