This is one of my favorite happy hour spots in Pleasanton! The happy hour menu is from 2-5 everyday, 7 days a week. While they've made some modifications to their menu since I started coming, the one thing I always order is the mini beef gyros. The pita is so fluffy and the meat so tender. The pumpkin borani is also quite delicious. The interior of the restaurant is a bit darker so I always enjoy their outdoor seating when the weather is nice (also can be a bit quieter if there are large parties inside). Service has generally been good but can a bit slower when there are large parties/lots of customers. Oasis also has a dedicated parking lot which makes it easy to access! read more

I was invited to a work event in oasis . All together it was a nice evening , the overall decor and atmosphere were ok. As for food : 1) we shared a mezze platter - it had the traditional tahini and also had some really nice prawns . It came with pita halves which was ok. 3.5/5 2) for main I got the fried trout which was great . A large portion with yummy fried potato slices . 4/5 3 we also got a few of the dessert platters - I liked the toffee cake . Chocolate cake was just ok . 3.5/5 The service was very attentive but a bit sloppy - waitress was constantly pouring water all over the table and didn't seem to care much . It was my first time here and we had the best time, I can't wait to come back! Kenlyn provided quick service. She was friendly, hospitable and created an AMAZING dining experience for us! She honestly made it feel like we were chatting with a long lost friend. She was even able to help us decide what to order and made the necessary modifications to accommodate my allergies! Kenlyn made sure our glasses and plates were always full with amazing food and drinks - what more could you ask for?? There was also a really kind and accommodating gentleman who was refilling our water glasses but we unfortunately didn't get his name. A++++++++++++ for the staff! Ambiance is romantic with dim lighting, beautiful chandeliers. The tables are lit with lanterns and the outdoor patio was closed for an event but I bet it is amazing on a warm summer day! I didn't get a picture of the mini gyro appetizers but they were so good and definitely my favorite thing we ordered. I came here with a group of friends last weekend for an early birthday dinner. We didn't have reservations beforehand. We came before dinner rush, so there was no wait. We got seated by the window, so we got a nice view of the street outside. The ambiance gave off fancy but also casual/cozy vibes. It was perfect. As a group, we ordered the Pumpkin Borani and Potato Bolani to share. I can't choose which one I liked more, because both were delicious. The pumpkin was soft and slightly sweet, and the garlic-yogurt sauce provided a good tartness for contrast. The potato was soft and seasoned well, and the flatbread was crispy. As for my entree, I ordered the Mediterranean Pasta w/ chicken. Overall, this dish was good but it didn't stand out to me. I felt that the flavor was a little too subtle or lacking for my taste. Service was good. My boyfriend brought a cake, and the staff was kind to store it for us while we dined. After we finished eating, they brought it out for us. This place has happy hour on the daily. Not just Monday to Friday. The drinks are tasty and so were their appetizers. My main plate was the chicken plate and the chicken was a little too dry for my liking, and needed some extra flavor. But I'll definitely be back to try more stuff. It's so cozy and cute inside. We have walked by Oasis many times, always curious but kept forgetting to try. A friend wanted Mediterranean for his birthday, and thus our first visit (with more to come in the future) was born! The exterior has always caught my eye; in the warmer months you'll see the patio above the street full of people, with string lights lit above. Has a magical feeling as you walk by. The interior is even prettier; has a sexy vibe with luxurious decor and dark lighting. We received the best service we have gotten in years, beating multi starred Michelin restaurants. We shared an appetizer our fabulous waiter recommended - pumpkin burrata. WOW. A must try. Creamy and flavorful. The bread brought to the table was unique. Similar to a flatbread? Two in our group ordered the surf and turf and raved all dinner about it. I ordered the rack of lamb-- it was the best lamb I have EVER had. EVER. So flavorful and very juicy for lamb. I'm used to lamb at restaurants being very bone heavy, but this was a filling meal. We shared a bottle of wine, but the cocktail list looked amazing- I saw lychee and a lychee martini is hands down my holy grail. 10/10- can't wait to come back and try more! read more

Oasis Restaurant, also known as the Oasis Grille and the Oasis Wine Lounge. Whatever you choose to call it, it's a pretty great place. The inside is really nice, upscale, with a very cool bar. But outside is magic when nice weather occurs. A side patio fenced-in patio with a huge tree is the middle. Love. The gf and I (along with the pooch, I know, common theme) sat outside at 7pm in the evening, and were treated with service by Diana. So sweet, nice, and helpful. While sipping a couple of glasses of Wente Chardonnay ($16, 5 stars, as you may already know), we ordered our entrees. The gf got the Mediterranean Salad and added beef Gyro meat ($14 + $6) and she loved it. I got the grilled chicken kabob (& peppers, onions) with asparagus ($24, 4.5 stars) -- perfect for when on a diet (yes, too much of yelping for years). Anyway, overall, lovely. Beautiful restaurant with interesting menu. My favorite was the Sabzi, which I ordered with a filet kabob. The spinach is very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Even the "plain" basmati rice had good flavor. (The other option is cumin spiced rice) The filet was cooked correctly and came with a nice garlic butter on top. My daughter enjoyed her chicken kabob with potato wedges. The wedges were crispy and tasty. The potato bolani is great too. The only downside was my father-in- law's curry. It was room temperature and not spicy, despite him requesting it specifically. The service was good throughout and they even brought a replacement curry which which was nice and warm (although still not spicy at all) The waitress mentioned the curry is premade, so their option is to provide red chili flakes. I would think they could add their spicy harissa to it as well, but just a suggestion. Overall we have enjoyed all our visits and will be back. read more

One of the waiters (a Hispanic male, about 5'9, thin) gave me and my boyfriend an attitude when he walked up to our table. I guess since we didn't give him attention right away he left without saying anything. Which made us feel uncomfortable bc the waiter was also rolling his eyes and giving us dirty looks the rest of the night. We went on Thursday June 5th around 730/8. We want to try this place when we saw their inviting patio as we walked by it from the street. Coming from a diff resto being already full, we figured we can enjoy this place by having their dessert at least. We were warmly greeted by staff, & had a nice spot in their patio. Cute restaurant located in downtown Pleasanton with an impressive menu. They have rooms for large parties that you can decorate for your occasion, my friend did a rustic theme and it turned out so cute. I ordered the beef shammi kebab plate and it was so good! This is coming from someone who's extremely picky about meat. It was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and came with a side of seasoned rice. I would def order this again. We also ordered Bolani and the hummus trio as appetizers and those were really good as well. My mom and I had not been to Oasis in awhile, and decided to stop by for happy hour on a Monday. It was just after 4pm, and there were a couple other tables seated. We grabbed a high top near the bar and ordered beverages and the mezze platter to snack. Both the happy hour cocktails and the mezze platter were "OK." Came here on NYE and service was a little slow to start (to be expected on the holiday), but once our waitress came to take our drink order, the service was excellent. Everything was quick, prompt, and accurate. Grabbed a couple drinks and hummus to start, both were very solid. Followed that up with my entreé of Surf n turf kabob with season basmati rice. The steak was very good, but the lobster missed the mark by just a little bit.....but all in all, for the price, this meal was awesome! The espresso martini was one of the best I've had ever! We ended the night with a toffee nut cake which was a home run, would 100% recommend. It is very sweet, but the vanilla ice cream sets it off just enough. Will 1000% be returning! I took my husband and invited his family to eat here for Father's Day. I was nervous to bring my father in law and mother in law because they are usually picky with restaurants. We helped them order, and they seemed to really have enjoyed it! We were a party of 15 and the restaurant staff were able to accommodate us in a nice secluded corner of the restaurant. The drinks were amazing as usual, and the food was flavorful. My husband and I shared the Royal platter and a Mediterranean salad. The ambience is romantic, and a perfect place to have dinner and drinks for a date night. Picked this place because it was a good halfway spot between my friend and I and we both love Greek food. Great choice!! Nice location with parking in the back and parking is not easy in Pleasanton. Food: everything was delicious! We had several small plates: potato borani (apologies for the spelling), dolmas and the gyros. They also served complimentary bread. We did not do any wine because we were both driving. Service: Excellent! My friend and I had not seen each other in 4 years so we had a ton to catch up on. Our waiter was so patient with us and so sweet! It was very much appreciated. Ambience was very nice. It was a bit noisy but that was due to several parties going on there with some very loud people. On my second visit there was a bug flying around our table. No one came to help until I panicked about it getting on me and had to get up and get someone. And then while i was talking to the woman in the front for help and i was flustered and shaking bc im scared of bugs a man came and essentially told me that i was being disrespectful. The woman still moved us bc she told me she understood how i felt bc shes scared to. So honestly shes the only reason why its a 2 and not a 1. If she sees this thank you for making me feel supported when it felt like the whole place was against me. Ive never been to a restaurant where a bug was attacking me and never got blamed for my reaction. Maybe keep your place bug free and this wont happen. read more
