We arrived at our scheduled time and were immediately seated at a table with the full view of the lake. However the table was circular and its positioning pinned one person in the "corner" which wouldn't be a big deal had we not been at a buffet style dinner. There was nice background music and the dining area was calm and enjoyable. The layout of the buffet was very minimal and cramped. One long table and another perpendicular to that forming a tight L shape. Soups and salad were on another small table and the desserts on yet another, all in the main corridor of the restaurant. Additionally the dishes were not labeled and what I thought was mushrooms turned out to be Brussel sprouts. Prime rib was not on the menu but it is offered at other times. The pies were not cut and their positioning on risers made getting a slice very difficult. The food was very good and no one left hungry but the cost exceeded the value of the experience. Library Lounge at Skytop Lodge feels like stepping back in time in the best possible way…read more From the moment you walk in, everything slows down. Dim lighting, big comfortable leather chairs, bookshelves lining the walls, a fully stocked bar, and historic photos throughout the space create a classic lodge vibe that feels timeless without being stuffy. It is cozy, polished, and incredibly relaxing. The staff is knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in what they serve. The craft cocktails are well made and thoughtful, and if you prefer beer, there are solid options there too. As a bourbon lover, I especially enjoyed their private barrel pick served neat, a real treat and easily a standout pour. This is a perfect pre-dinner or post-evening stop, we have done both, and it works beautifully either way. Dress is slightly casual but leans upscale, and while pricing is a bit higher than average, it feels completely worth it for the setting, quality, and experience. We sank into the chairs, talked story with friends, and lost track of time, which really says it all. If you are anywhere near Skytop Lodge, make sure this is on your list. Plan extra time, you will want to linger.

Very unique cocktails! My first visit, I tried the ruby slipper, braulio sour, and the mango lassi. The mango lassi is incredible! It is my favorite drink at Argos! The ruby slipper and braulio sour were also quite tasty but I preferred the ruby slipper a tad more. My second visit, I tried the grapefruit soda (not artificial tasting at all), the Shark Juice (tasted a bit too much like cologne, wasn't a fan), and the Gigi (couldn't taste the hojicha, liked the concept more than the execution). I would get the Gigi again, but would pass on the Shark Juice. Sitting inside, I enjoyed the quieter and calmer atmosphere as well as the soft lighting. The interior decor is very cosy and slightly eclectic. I came with a friend on a weekday evening and it was pretty empty which was nice. The outdoor patio space is very nice- I like the lanterns on the walls and the whole space is quite charming. I left with a few mosquito bites though. Overall, I would recommend Argos Inn!
