Nice bar, solid food, and overly friendly staff. Despite large and rowdy local crowd all treated us "out-of-towers" like family. Get the wings. read more

I was headed home from college with my friends on our ride back home from Oneonta and we decided to stop by after hearing they had good food. Good food is an understatement, crispy, juicy, flavorful wings that were beyond fresh. The paddy melt was beyond perfect with fantastic rye bread for it. The Tony was a perfect sandwich to split with it complimented with a great garlic bread. I will be coming back again. read more

Courtyard Bar/ Restaurant - The Tony, paddy melt and garlic parm wings - Bars Near Me - Roscoe, New York

Roscoe Beer Company recommended Courtyard, and it was fantastic. Filled with locals, the bartender (owner?) greeted us as we walked in, directed us to either of their dining rooms, we chose the one in view of the bar, at the fireplace. Decorated with deer, coyotes, a pheasant. The food was delicious--14oz burgers cooked rare for my teen, medium rare for the boys. I had the fish & chips--light batter, super crispy, not at all doughy--LOVED it. Crispy onion rings. My kids couldn't finish their burgers because they were so substantial, which was a first--we had them packed to take home, cheeses include cheddar, swiss, mozzarella, provolone, as well as American. Friendly and efficient service, good food, comfortable atmosphere. Lookjng forward to returning, read more

We visited twice during our trip to Roscoe. Have nothing but great things to say. First night the service was awesome, Pauline is amazing. Even the customers were great, everyone so friendly. The next day we came for lunch with our two dogs. They set us up outside with the Yankee game, awesome. Pauline and Anna could not have been nicer. We will be back and you should too read more

I say, I have been patronizing this establishment for many years now and I have never once left disappointed. Past its Catskill hunting lodge décor lies a bar, rec room and seating area. Whether you are coming with companions for dinner or simply stopping in for a drink, this Courtyard can meet your needs. Service is always attentive, prices are fair, and the food is quite good. What more could you ask for? Good show! Cost: $ Fare: 4/5 read more

We came by on our way home. Was looking for a place to satisfy our hunger. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant, this is not the place for you. This is a local joint to hang out for a good conversation and drink. There were few restaurants in the heart of town but, we drove a few moments down the road to come to this restaurant to be out of the way from the crowd. The restaurant has a parking lot and it has a view of the golf course if you are sitting outside at the porch. This is a quaint little town. There are a lot of memorabilia of hunting and fishing on the walls of the restaurant. I love both! Good old American value. (Sorry, no photos of food as they are typical American flair. Nothing to write home about but, it will satisfy your belly.) Come here if you are hungry and want to support our local communities. The restaurant is full of locals who decent here to catch up with each other. We had two burgers and a Caesar salad and a few pops. The burgers were huge and they use Kaiser buns. read more

So let me tell you about this place- off the beaten path for sure- I was a bit concerned going in, but.... Jenna the coolest bartender, big HUGE smile and her "can't do enough for you" attitude quickly changed my thoughts! She was on dbl duty and seated us as well as recommended her faves- I had one of the best bowls of chili that HIT THE SPOT! (Strangely) I also ordered the macaroni salad that was clearly homemade with love! My colleague had the sliders and we both left fat and happy! It's a cheers kind of feel with a great dynamic! I highly recommend- when in Rome . Or Roscoe that is . Was only here for 2 days, but I came back because of Jenna's hospitality and the love they put into your food! read more

I've been here twice now and I will definitely be back again. The fish and chips aren't on the menu anymore, but if you ask they can make it for you as long as they have the fish. One of the best I have ever had. Huge portion of fish and chips and it is perfectly battered and fried. They also have a full bar with plenty of options. The outdoor patio has a nice seating area with a view of a golf course. Definitely recommend trying this out. read more

A few friends and I went to The Courtyard after a kayaking trip. We sat outside, the service was very slow, even though the place was not busy. The food was terrible. Two of my friends ordered a pizza with pepperoni, got peppers instead. The waitress took it back and brought the same pizza back, stating they tried to remove as many peppers as they could and added the pepperoni. Unacceptable, but they were hungry, so took it. Then they realized the dough was soggy and raw in the middle. Horrible! Two of my other friends ordered cheeseburgers, medium, but received well done on stale rolls. I had cole slaw that was spoiled, my reuben was also soggy on the bottom. The table behind us left and nobody bothered to clean up, therefore bugs were flying around. Not a great experience whatsoever. Won't be back anytime soon! read more

Fun place. Good food. Good service. Great outdoor dining as well. Pub style. Turkey Reuben was an "A."

Stopping by for an early dinner. Corn beef Ruben. French fries and homemade Cole slaw. Corn beef is prepared here. One of the best reuben sandwiches I have had in a long time. I love Cole slaw. They make it fresh. Service is always great. I'm sitting outdoors on their deck over looking a Par 3 golf course. Must stop here if you are passing by Roscoe NY. read more

Came here while visiting from out of town. We had the Vito (steak sandwich) and the patty melt, both were really good! The fries were crispy and tasty, the macaroni salad was pretty good too. Everyone who came to our table was very friendly, especially our server. I wish I caught her name so I could give her some kudos. She was efficient and friendly and made great recommendations when we had questions. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. We had a nice time here and I would come back in the future. read more
