Good service and the staff here is really nice. The food was okay not too many vegetarian options I wish there was more food options. Beer was tasty and delicious, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]a great outdoor experience[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Place was great, the husband/wife duo that was playing ruined it, but man was the places vibe perfect otherwise. Then again the deep fried smell wasn't my favorite either. Smelled like I was at a baseball stadium but looked like I was in the coolest Catskills experience ever. Felt almost amazing so I'm giving it the four starts. I'd love to go back and hang, but I'd rather buy the place and make my house out of it-

One of the coolest places I've been to in a while. Proof that u can do anything with the resources you have. It was a cloudy day, this place is all outdoors so weather is definitely a factor. Thankfully the 2hr we spent there, the rain held off. We were greeted by a nice young woman who explained the place, the menu, the whole 9. Very nice! THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD! We shared the crispy cauliflower which is in some curried sauce(yum) Lumpia, crispy& not greasy, and 2 orders of wings, spicy Korean & honey garlic soy, which were my favorite. I only had a glass of Rosé but my hubby & friend had the pilsner & enjoyed. Great outdoor space, clean bathroom, great service. I'm sorry I showed up late in the season. They will be closed for winter. A definite must!!

Been wanting to stop in here for a while; it's fully outdoors, so we waited for a few months until a warm day in late spring. They have a great beer selection and live music on certain nights. I wouldn't eat a full dinner here, but they do have some food options (pretzels etc). I only tried the key lime pie, which was bad, but that's kind of on me for ordering key lime pie at an outdoor bar, ha. We also happened to go at sunset, and the vibes were immaculate.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]If you want a speakeasy outdoor vibe, this place is for you![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual, elevated food truck cuisine, full bar, and live music on the weekends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's no permanent sign outside; just trust your GPS to get you there!

I love that the place is outdoors. We live in a tiny apartment in Brooklyn so just being outside surrounded by trees and the calming noise of the creek make us happy. When you add to this historic ruins a good selection of beers and wines, snack food, and live music, it is just one happy experience! It is a really unique, magical, and picturesque place.

This place is a real gem. The location, the remains of an pump house it beautiful. The drinks are great. Say yay to Frose. And the food is good. The menu changes often. The day we went had chicken wings-- a bit messy but delicious!

From the inside out!

Now, we only had a 1.5 hours so most of the time I spent was in the musuem, but the grounds are immaculate, and you can see a variety of the sites from the Woodstock festival, including the actual historical site. The grounds could be a little more clearly labeled, but otherwise this is a nice stop.

You can't bring your own, so bring a picnic blanket. Getting in and out is a nightmare. I also suggest if you have lawn tickets to get there early and not sit on the top of the hill. Was actually really enjoying the experience until the concert started. Maybe the pavilion is better, but you have to endure a lot of background noise from venders (there was a loud kettle corn stand right near me) and other guests treating a concert like a picnic in the park where they can speak freely. I had to listen to people's side conversation while I was trying to listen to Paul Simon play. I typically wouldn't blame the venue for inconsiderate guests, but the speakers and sound quality were so soft it was impossible to tune them out. I left early to beat what would have been a nightmare leaving and I wasn't going to be able to hear the music well anyway. The Paul Simon tour was called "A Quiet Celebration" it probably was not the right venue for this kind of show. You could say maybe I should have been earlier and gotten closer or payed more for the pavilion, but the people on the top of the hill deserve a concert experience as well.

A straight drive out route 28 west. Signage on Rt 28 for the venue could be better. Parking - again very easy. Small venue so no parking nightmares. Getting in and out with no drama. Ticketing - computer was down when we got there. Technology issues happen. Food - BBQ stand was disappointing on several levels. More a grill than BBQ..hamburger, chicken breast, etc. Nothing special. Chicken sandwich was served on a bun with no lettuce, tomato, etc. They were incredibly unorganized and it showed. They had problems taking orders, giving them to cooks, no system for identifying who ordered what. I could have lied about what I ordered and paid for, and they would have believed me. They were stressed and some barked at customers. on several occasions they yelled at people for crossing to the side of the table which wasn't roped off. And the only garbage pail by BBQ was in that area. Concert - Intimate feeling. Venue so small that there aren't really any bad seats. Sound was clear and strong. Orchestra supporting the band was a nice touch. Really added depth to some songs - ex. Bohemian Rhapsody. Brought me back thirty years. I would definitely go back again. I would suggest bringing a sweatshirt as the temperatures do drop a bit at night and you are outside, though tented. unless you have lawn seats, in which case you are totally outside and should also bring a blanket and folding chair.

If you are in Woodstock, you MUST stop here and see a show. It may possibly change your life. It's a little tricky to navigate here in the dark - you feel like you're in the Blair Witch Project, then you will see a beacon of light marking the entrance to the Levon Helms Studio. Well, the Ramble and I made that birthday great. It's an amazing show in an amazing venue. They call it The Barn for a reason. All wood everywhere, it's an intimate show with seats all around, above and behind the stage. Apparently Levon designed and acoustically engineered the space himself, and it shows; the sound quality is phenomenal in here. I think any act would sound good in here, but the Ramble blew my mind. The musicianship is incredible. You'll watch people swap guitars for keyboards for drums and show startling prowess on all of them. They brought in all sorts of friends including Graham Lesh and Twisted Pine (the excellent opening act), and literally everyone could play, and sing, and just rock. With some of Levon's family in the band, you'll hear them play his music with real feeling and emotion, and watch them have a great time doing it. I can't recommend this show enough, and I would certainly come back to the venue as well. Be aware that they don't sell drinks and food, which isn't the worst thing in the world because you could pour half a bottle of vodka into into a water bottle with some powdered grape kool-aid because that's all you had on hand, and have a great time. In theory, I mean.

It was a Thursday so maybe things weren't as busy as normal but we showed up a little early and the back biergarten was open so we got some drinks as it was a nice spring afternoon. The bartender was very friendly and when we attempted to bring our drinks around front she let us know that we had to finish them first. The Venue itself reminded me a bit of the nearby Levon Helm studios in that it's an open space with a balcony overlooking everything and seating and standing room on the base floor. One thing I loved about this show is the sound was great. We sat stage left but the PA was subtly piping the DJ and guitar parts from stage right. It wasn't a huge crowd but people were having a good time with some standing room in front of the bar dancing etc. The bartenders were super attentive and responsive during the performance. Only about 50 people who got there at the opening had a chance to get a seat. Others like us lucked out and had to figure out how to eat without a table .
