    Mediterranean Salad
    Stephanie B.

Flight was significantly delayed, so I decided to have dinner at the Draft House. It was cool that they have QR codes at the table to order and pay from your phone. They have a bunch of TVs with sports playing. The vibe felt like a fun sports bar. Unfortunately, the food was subpar. Food and drinks came out very fast, but that was really the only positive. I asked my server for sweetener for my iced tea three times and never got it. The Mediterranean salad looked so unappetizing when it arrived. It ended up being ok, but still utterly disappointing. Someone next to me ordered a flatbread pizza, which looked decent. I would not go here again as I've gotten better food in order at the counter spots at this airport.

I've been coming here since the opening in 2022 and have enjoyed each visit. Winner of the International Bar Award for Airports in 2023, Oakland Draft House has a variety of beers, mainly from Sierra Nevada Brewing but also serves wines, cocktails and food. The views of the Bay are an excellent element to enjoy here. There is. bar seating and dining tables available. The servers are fairly fast even during peak time hours. Try a burger and beer. My favorites are the Oak Burger and Torpedo IPA.

    fiery wings- 18$, tax- 1.94$, service- 90c

Fiery wings were really good. Usually I think extra crispy wings to be like bumpy and crumbly like chinese fried wings or wingstop. But this one was like smooth fried. Still nice crunch and the flavor was reminiscent of bacon. Celery was also diff than I used to. More bendy and stringy but still felt fresh idk Baby Carrots were not like round pills like Im used to also diff. Were cut and peeled from big carrots. Also good. Extra One of the few places that stayed open late 8:15pm expensive meal but tasty, is it worth? Id say so sure there were no fries but just a lil more expensive than wingstop and some quality wings. 4/5

Super hearty and delicious breakfast! I got the breakfast burger, essentially a hamburger plus a whole serving of scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese. Came with a big dish of tater tots! This was two meals in one and I won't need to eat for the rest of the day! Reasonably priced, considering we are at the airport. Loved having a nice table for laptop work plus a delicious meal before departure today. Order on the QR code, need a credit card for that. Service was prompt and friendly. Could do without the overhead music as it's loud enough, but ok. I'd eat here again.

Great fast service from Jabari. He made us feel very welcome when we got here. This restaurant was convenient at the end of the concourse and this was our choice after viewing three or four other menus along the concourse here. This menu spoke to us. Our food came. It was hot delicious I love the garlic fries and the deep fried breaded chicken strips. it was fresh and delicious and the price was reasonable considering airport.

Jorge did an amazing job today as he waited on us. We aren't really good with The QR menu so he took our order manually, a real sweetheart! Anyway, we ordered the prosciutto flatbread and the wings along with a few beers. Jorge's service was prompt, polite & super fast. We really appreciated this because our flight was leaving soon. Jorge is a fantastic server and I recommend he gets a sizable raise! Most Sincerely, Margaret Wardlow

I was on my way to a flight and I ordered chicken wings and then I ordered a 9 ounce glass of white Chardonnay that equal $45. I'm like my God so that's why I stopped because I'm not spending $56 in a airport put the chicken wings had sauce on it, but I was not given napkins. I had to ask for him. I was not giving water I had to ask for that is two women in a man walking across the bar they making sure everybody's get help. I get a credit for that, but I had to ask for my stuff for $45. I shouldn't have to plus a tip onto my next flight to my next secret shopper at a airport

Came here for dinner before a short flight. We have been to their takeaway spot right next door and had a good experience. Also, who can say no to Sierra Nevada beer on tap? We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the Korean chicken Mac and cheese. I also had a Wild lil thing sour beer. The chicken sandwich was good but pretty standard. The Korean chicken Mac and cheese was interesting. The chicken was crispy but the "Korean" sauce was tangy and spicy. The max and cheese was definitely the star. Come here for a quick eat and good beer. Service was ok (some items forgotten from our order and had to remind the staff). You seat yourself and when we arrived it was pretty packed. TVs in the area and open seating with good lighting.

Fried Chicken Burger (top, 4 stars) and French Dip (bottom, 4 stars)

This is the main sit-down restaurant in OAK Terminal 1. Its like a sports bar with a bunch of flatscreens and barstool seating plus some tables around the perimeter. Note they have no high chairs for the little ones. The menu and payment is all done by QR code, so be extra careful you don't accidentally pay twice with too many clicks on ApplePay. No worries, the restaurant will refund you if this happens. The food is AOK. Fries were crispy and came in cute little metal fryer baskets. Cheeseburger was really dry, but cutting up the meat and dousing with ketchup was key to getting our 3yo to eat it. French dip was solid, as was the fried chicken burger.

Sit wherever, but FYI you need to order and pay using the QR code on the table sticker. If you insist, they will bring you a paper menu and take your order at the table. Unfortunately they were out of the soft pretzel which sounded great. I should have read the reviews before I ordered and just ordered a burger. But no, I ordered the pulled pork Mac n cheese with bacon. Bacon was burnt and the burnt taste permeated the pulled pork rendering it inedible. Tried to eat Mac and cheese from the bottom. Why is the Mac n cheese watery? Did the cheese sauce break via microwave? Wine is served by small or large, but no mention of ounces. $20 for a "large" The best part about this restaurant is the view, if you can get a window seat. I moved to the window the second a spot opened up. I felt bad for my server because she obviously can't control how the food comes out. When I mentioned about the burnt bacon I saw she was taking a practically uneaten pulled pork Mac back to the kitchen. So two unhappy people. I didn't ask for a refund or a redo because I did eat some of the Mac. I definitely enjoyed my "large" wine - I'm going to guess 8 oz - and the view.

Overpriced reheated gas station food. Might be worse than gas station food when you're paying 20 dollars for chicken strips.

Well, almost. I do not fly through this airport often, but after a short work trip I found myself here with three hours to waste. I was so happy to see this cozy little wine bar tucked into the airport and it looked like a great place for a solo traveler like me to hang. I wasn't rushed at all and the staff invited me to hang out longer and enjoy more wine, LOL! The vibe is relaxed and surprisingly inviting, and Vino Volo seems immune to the usual rushed airport chaos. There were plenty of other women sitting solo and having a glass of wine, as well as the usual line of business travelers with whom this wine bar seems to be the most popular. There's a surprisingly decent selection of wines by the glass or in tasting flights if you're feeling fancy, and the staff are friendly and actually know what they're talking about. If you don't know a lot about wine, ask them for recommendations. If you're a professional wine lover like me, you'll instantly see the standouts on the menu. The small plates and snacks (think charcuterie, sandwiches, and cheese boards) are good quality and pair nicely with your drink, and they aren't super heavy but are just right. They're perfect if you need something satisfying (and healthier than fried fast food) before hopping on your flight.  Vino Volo is victim of inflated airport pricing, and you may have some sticker shock especially if you know your wine prices. But for the nice spot and friendly service, it feels like the upcharge is mostly worth it. It's a nice little oasis in a place where everything else feels like grab and go chaos. I would definitely stop by again on another layover.
