    Ricotta meatballs

The place is pretty cool, ideal for a date or group of friends. I recommend to make a reservation if going on a weekend for dinner. We had to wait a little bit for the food, so go with patience. I didn't care because me and my friend wanted to catch up and weren't in a rush. We got the ricotta meatballs as an appetizer, I think this is a MUST, I'd probably get it every time. For main we got the oak burger which is a brisket burger!!!! Perfectly cooked, loved the bacon and the bread. And the fries were also really good. Then the pizza was very tasty too, my only complaint was that the ham was in big chunks and came way after the rest of the food so we took most of it home.

I love oak wood fire kitchen!! The goat cheese is an absolute must. The vibe is always so welcoming and bright but this place gets busssssy on the weekend and certain weeknights. I would suggest making a reservation.

Good spot for pizza, lunch, or dinner! The restaurant itself is not big, so it can be busy, but service was friendly and fast all things considered. Ambiance is modern and tidy. I chose the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza and enjoyed it! Would return again.

Fav cookie skillet! I like the mockolada too. I loved the wedge salad with chicken this time. Other times I've also loved the bolognese, the pizza with arugula, and the bbq chicken pizza. Love Oak!

First off, all other pictures have outdated menus with old prices which are way less than what they actually are. This place is great and the food is delicious. Server was super friendly but the understaffed restaurant had us waiting multiple times for the check, to put in our order, etc. but not her fault. The food is delicious but our oak bread was pretty undercooked so it was doughy and we didn't finish it. Got a refund without hesitation from the server. But still... The crème brûlée French toast was lackluster with other pics showing lots of cream and there was a little drizzle along with very little syrup which they do for you and it wasn't much. My egg bake was fine and the bread was good but that's about it. Nothing to write home about. All in all, the food is good, but had I known these were the prices I would've probably gone elsewhere and at the end of the day, not worth it. This is probably my last time all things considered. Nice atmosphere. And again, the server was great but it was understaffed for a Sunday morning.

I was around the area and stopped by. The place is really pretty and nice atmosphere, but the food was okay overall, and the service was friendly and attentive. I was excited to try the churros but they fell short, they had a bit of a frozen taste and didn't seem as fresh as I thought. Still, it was an experience giving this place a try!

Title: Adopted by Bread. Raised by Pizza. By: Parent (Easy-to-Please) & Kid (Super-Critical, Age 10) Kid: That "kids" pepperoni pizza was huge. Like, full-grown-adult-with-a-job huge. Parent: You ate it like you were getting graded. Meanwhile, my Oak Burger was smoky perfection. I almost cried. Kid: And the bread. FREE. Warm. Amazing. I'd trade my Switch for another basket. Parent: Same. And that elote? Creamy, spicy, flavor fireworks. Kid: Papa Juan pizza was next level. Carne asada and chiles? Yes please. Parent: Especially with the Chasing Ghost Double IPA. That pairing fixed something in my soul. Kid: Then you ordered the apple cobbler like it was a side quest. Parent: It was warm, buttery, cinnamon-y... life-changing. So... coming back? Kid: Only if I get my own bread. No sharing.

We came for lunch and ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizza (with honey on the side), chopped wedge salad, meatballs, and dirty fries. I'd skip the meatballs -- they were dry, flavorless, no ricotta, and the bread was overcooked (0/10). Pizza was solid (8/10), salad (7/10), fries a bit over-seasoned (6/10). Service started off great but dropped off toward the end when we couldn't get any attention. Overall: 6-7/10.

My colleagues and I come here pretty often on Wednesdays as our little mid-week treat and by far, we have consistently ordered the elote pizza over and over. Needless to say, this is our favorite! However there has never been a time that I've been here that the coffee machine is working properly.

The goat cheese appetizer dip is great to share. I had the roasted beet salad but the burger looked tasty at the next table as well as the steak Gorgonzola salad.

Wanted to try this place because of the reviews. First red-flag, the menu is all over the place. However, the place was hopping. It was solid busy so they must be making the local crowd happy. I ordered the loco moco (I'm a connoisseur). Definitely not the best loco moco I've had. Suggestions for the chef... add caramelized onions and be careful not to overcook the eggs [mine were way overcooked]. Nice location but I won't be coming back.

My husband, daughter and I went here for dinner. No wait when we got there which was nice. They only have about 15 tables inside and a couple outside. It took a minute for our server to greet us and get us waters. Then it took her a minute to come back to us and get our orders. The food took a while, but it was fine. I ordered the margarita pizza to share with my husband and it was cooked perfectly, but I also forgot how dull the flavor is for me on this flavor of pizza, so that's my own fault. My absolute favorite was the street corn dip. That was our favorite! My husband got steak bites with sweet potatoes fry's and he said the steak was melting in his mouth it was so good! My daughter got their kids spaghetti and I was disappointed it didn't come with anything else like normal kids meals, but the different thick noodles were fun for her. Once we got our food it took forever for our waiter to come back. Overall we probably wouldn't go back unless it was for the street corn dip. Other than that the wait on our waitress was way too long. Especially when you have a little one with you.

Holy marinara deliciousness!!! Oak Wood Fire Kitchen was a drive by, stop on a whim, best surprise ever! This food joint is stupendous in every single way! My date (hubby) and I stumbled upon this place and loved it! Upon entering we were warmly greeted and seated promptly at a comfortable and attractive booth. The inside is hip and happening with a clean and exciting vibe. The colors are inviting yet subtle; it's a place to instantly settle in a relax. Our waitress Alexis arrived quickly and took our drink order and offered some requested recommendations. Boy are we glad we took her advice and ordered the goat cheese flatbread appetizer that was one of the best things we've ever put in our mouth!!! We also dined on a wedge salad with chicken and a burger with a mimosa and cokes to wash it all down. The portions were generous which left us with lots to take home after full and happy bellies, and every morsel was perfection. The mimosa was minty and refreshing as well. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the portions and food quality, and the service was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. We are so glad we found this gem of an eating establishment and will be back whenever we can.

Get the fire baked bread, it's the best. The place is a little busy on the weekend, even if you arrive early. So we go during the week

As a teacher, the first day of May felt like the perfect excuse to treat myself, so I DoorDashed…read morepizza from this place that I've been wanting to try for a while. The menu had super creative, unique pizza names (which I love), but I still played it safe and ordered my go-to: pepperoni, jalapeño, and pineapple....yes, pineapple . I also got cheesy bread and BBQ boneless chicken. My partner customized his pizza with pepperoni, bacon, and brisket, his version of a meat lovers. I'll start with the downside: my jalapeños were missing, which was a little disappointing. I get it though, mistakes happen, especially if they were busy. What really threw me off was the grease. When I opened the box, the pizza was dripping.....like, soaking-through-the-box dripping. I later noticed our boxes were missing that little white cardboard liner you usually get underneath, which might explain it. I had to use multiple paper towels just to blot two slices, and they were completely saturated. But here's the twist... despite all that, this was hands-down some of the best pizza I've ever had. The flavor was unreal. Every bite was rich, bold, and perfectly balanced! you could actually taste each ingredient. The hot honey drizzle on top completely elevated it and honestly made me forget about the missing jalapeños. The cheesy bread was good. nothing super standout flavor-wise, but still enjoyable (again, just very greasy). My partner's pizza, though? Absolutely divine. The bacon tasted like real smoked, chopped bacon, and the brisket gave it this smoky, almost campfire BBQ vibe. It felt like something you'd eat fresh out of a smokehouse. So flavorful and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. And the BBQ boneless chicken... I was not prepared. I expected something basic, but that ranch.........oh ...my ....god.... It was creamy, rich, and addictive. If that ranch isn't homemade, I need to know where to buy it immediately. The combo of that chicken with the ranch was next-level--like a full-on flavor explosion. I will say, I couldn't finish everything. The grease eventually caught up with me and gave me a bit of a headache. Overall: I will be ordering again. Next time, I'll probably ask if they can go a little lighter on the grease. It's definitely not a "light" meal by any means lol but the flavor? Totally worth it.

My husband was able to join us on a long lunch break. We have been to Pier 49 before, but this was my sister's first experience. We decided to try out the Draper location because after several bad service experiences we had decided not to revisit our nearest location. Upon entering we noticed that it was clean and inviting. The man at the ordering counter greeted us immediately. He asked if we had been in before and upon hearing that we had traveled specifically to visit this location he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. This was Brad! He was patient as we figured out if we wanted to do the lunch special or order off menu. Then he offered us a free sample of "Brad"sticks because they are unique to this location. There was also a salad bar that we decided not to try this time. Neither of which we had seen at our local Pier 49. We ended up ordering cheesy breadsticks and a Full House with double Cable Car, Treasure Island, and 49er. (If you are unfamiliar with Pier 49 - all of the pizzas have a San Fransisco themed name). We sat down and Brad brought our free sample with marinara, ranch, and garlic butter. The breadsticks were very tasty but dipped in the garlic butter - wow! The cheesy sticks were also tasty and the pizza was great. My sister was super impressed. I was looking forward to the Treasure Island and I was not disappointed. The tomatoes were fresh and flavorful. My husband tried a slice too (his first try) and stole some of my tomatoes. The crust is perfect with a really nice texture. The toppings were quality and nicely seasoned. Honestly, the food was great and I expected that, but the service puts this location over the top. I am on a quest to find good/great and preferably non-chain restaurants in my adopted state but I make exceptions when I find a chain that makes me happy. Pier 49 is one of my exceptions and the Draper location will now be my go-to, even if it is double the drive time. Thanks Brad!!
