Crab bread

So happy to have you here!!!! Wish you came sooner. My bestie brought me here. We explored like 3/4 trucks! There are so many options to choose from. I found hummus to bbq to great asian street food. One thing that I tried that was fantastic is the Crab bread. This was light and delicious. Next, I ordered Hummus and a Kunaffa dessert. If you know you know, fabulous. Oh bestie got clam chowder also and it was delicious! I tried a bite. Last we went inside to see the beer garden and order cupcakes. These cupcakes looked better than they tasted but I did get a fantastic S'more brownies with a charred marshmallow.... that was sooooooo goood! Can't wait to come back so much to try! Pan Roast= Crab bread and Clam Chowder Shawma Station= Hummus and Kunaffa Cupcakes well I have to get back to you.

This is a really special place. Great for everyone! Bar crowd, families, work lunch, it has it all. Nice indoor area, and so many selections without duplicates. Plenty of parking, which is key. I tired the Japanese cart (separate review coming soon), and of course had to hit up the Montage, as I miss it so much since the restaurant closed. It's all good, but, and not above anywhere else, food carts are just as expensive as a sit-down and table service place these days. But, here you're also paying for a park, clean everything and an experience. Highly recommended, prepare to spend around $20-30 per person at minimum, especially if doing full lunch or dinner and a soft or hard drink.

Great new food cart area. Has plenty of different carts to choose from. Ample parking and lots of inside space to sit. The outside play area is under a huge oak tree that gives the place its name. $5 Special at some carts on Thursdays. Nice spot to hang out.

Nice selection of food trucks in a clean, well lit covered area. Tons of tables indoor and outdoors. Great layout, good parking. Good spot!

I came here in the evening and there so many food carts that serve a variety of cuisines. Lots of choices, great for going with a group too. They have indoor seating to keep warm, the outdoor seating also has some heat lamps above the tables too. They have a small bakery/sweets area in the inside, as well as ice cream and a bar too. Oak Tree Station also host events such as bingo night, trivia night on Tuesdays and tasting Thursdays. It was pretty busy when I went, but it's definitely family friendly as well. They have a parking lot, some paved and some areas are gravel.

The Cravory - My husband wanted to try their split dog and I wanted to try their garlic Parmesan fries when we dropped by for late lunch. Customer service was great! Super friendly staff. And the food was delicious! The hot dog was loaded with toppings and my husband said it was so good. He said it would have been better with caramelized onions rather than the red onions it came with. The garlic parmesan fries were packed with flavor. Salty enough for my liking. Will definitely be back to try other times on their menu! Montage - We are so glad Montage has finally made its way to this side of the bridge! It's been awhile since we've had it (years) and today did not disappoint! Customer service was friendly and all smiles. It did take awhile for our food but I'm assuming they were just busy with other orders. We got there around 2pm. Food was just as good as I remember, but they are very skimpy with the protein in the mac and cheese. So much flavor in the pasta and the jambalaya.

This was my 1st time coming to Oak Tree Station. It was a busy Saturday night but with great weather and food why wouldn't it be busy. We came in for a sweet treat. Ice cream renaissance hit the spot. Great atmosphere and the vibe was even better. Can't wait to come back. This spot is a must to try.

Great concept and surprisingly good food truck food. The centralized bar is efficient and had great beer selections. Had to try food truck sushi and pad Thai and both were excellent and reasonably priced. The whole experience here (parking excepted on a busy night) was fantastic. Highly recommend.

This is a pretty cool space. Nice park area for kids with out door seating. Also indoor seating where the taphoyse part is located. A pretty good amount of food carts, I counted 20. Im excited to see how this evolves and what trucks come and go. I would say the tap house was pretty expensive compared to other tap houses in the area and thier selection was mid at best. But with that said they know people will pay it given they are the only option in the food park so I get it.

So excited to have these amazing food carts! Where else can you get different cuisines in one meal. These are some of the highlights, my favorite was the pad Thai, it was super loaded with beef and veggies. Super soft noodles and not salty overall. The sushi burrito was also super fresh and tasty. The beef shawarma was good. My husband liked the savory crepe. There are still so many carts we need to try, we'll definitely be back. Parking is usually good when we have stopped by.

The BBQ truck initially pulled me in with the smoky scents wafting down the avenue. My son and I tried a couple dishes and shared. Mac n cheese? Check. He likes it more than I did. BBQ? Yup!! North Carolina type sauce. Very tasty. Next time we tried the Philly cheesesteak truck. Sandwich is filling, and the au jus makes the whole trip worthwhile. On the third trip I was waffling between a few places when the Pelmini guy lured me in with a sample. This is food that makes your heart sing and haunts your daydreams. The pear lemonade is not to be missed either. The Oak Tree Station also have Dole Whip, shave ice, pho, waffles, ice cream, cupcakes, Greek, Indian, and a lot else to offer. Never mind them, I only need Pelmini.

Birria taco x2 Grilled chicken x1 Carne asada x1 Carnitas x1
Michelle R.

Sad to say the food at 2 of the 4 carts lacked. Street tacos - birria needed the consome, or st least a sauce. Carnitas was straight boiled pork that was super fatty, no flavor either. Chicken was actually pretty good, a different seasoning on it but was crispy and yum. Carne asada lacked flavor and was dry. No salsa provided, and only hot sauce they had was hot as hell, and I love heat. Pork Vietnamese sandwich was good!! Classic Philly and fries were good, Philly lacked a little seasoning IMO and needed a better helping of cheese whiz. Crab bread was absolutely awful. The crab had zero flavor. I took a bite of it as served, which was on the bread, then just crab itself, both ways terrible. Sadly tossed them. the cider was really good, and the service from the bar as well! Loved the massive amounts of seating, breezeways, and restrooms were super clean. I'll definitely go back and try other carts. Also - I believe all carts are cheaper with cash than card, which I found out after as my sister was using cash, and I was using card and we noticed on the pay screen the difference. Which is totally fine, but a sign or something indicating that would have been nice. And plenty of parking!!

Beer on tap!

Great spot with a ton of food trucks and indoor/outdoor seating area. Great food selection. Self service is walk up to bar and food trucks.

I love how there was plenty of seating all around - no accidentally bumping into someone else while walking around and exploring all the food options! There were hightops, larger tables for groups of 10+ people or for communal seating, and bar seating at some of the vendors too. The space can also be rented out for private parties, etc. The water stations were scattered thoughtfully around the dining areas so you don't need to go far for water or bussing your table. The bathrooms were reasonably clean as well (with a key code - ask at any vendor to get it). I would come back again to try more food - it's a welcoming space. I got Shanghai's Best and was too full to try Lil' Funky Donuts.

This visit, the selection was a bit limited and the wait times can be a bit long so if you're paying for parking, make sure to add a bit extra time to avoid rushing your meal. As for the food, I got the spicy garlic ramen with the keto noodles from MATSUNOKI RAMEN. Pretty sure not gluten free, so if you are a gf friend, not the place for you. If you can stand a bit of it, the soup really hit the spot and had a good heat to it. The noodles were not great, had become a ball. The meat in the soup was minimal and more friend bacon than what I'm used to in ramen. The serving size was pretty substantial. If you're in the area with a large group this could be a good place to go.

Normally I would've tried to find something else, but to be honest, I wasn't mad about it. Surprisingly enough, Oregon's capitol city of Salem is smaller than I'd expected before making the move. There are a couple of what used to be thriving malls that have dwindled down to host small, lesser known businesses. I grew up in the 80s when malls were the social hub and all the rage. Walking inside, I could see the adaptation to today's consumers with remnants of days gone by. Poised right by the entrance is a K-Pop store and adjacent Anime Town. The little kids play area was just as obnoxious as I remember, all screams included. Upstairs was a bungee style trampoline for bigger kids wanting a little more thrill. There was a Hot Wheels vending machine and fresh fruit dessert stand featuring the ever popular Dubai chocolate over strawberries for a mere $18 (ouch!). Perhaps it was the season, but the parking lot was packed. It was nice to see some of the favs of my youth; PacSun, Vans, and Hot Topic, and FYE. There were also some cool shops I'd never heard of. We enjoyed our lunch and had to depart with little time to spend browsing, but I really want to come back. If there was a deterrent to be mentioned, it's the 8+% tax, a significant hit when you're used to zero state tax.

Happy Valley Food Carts yeah, I might be a little biased... I live here. And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Love me some Happy Valley Station!…read more This is like the upscale farmers market of food carts- park your car, enjoy the landscaping, and check it all out. Dog friendly, Kid friendly, 100-year old friendly. Lots of clean and tidy indoor and outdoor cafeteria-style seating to choose from. Carts are covered from the rain, but outside. Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!
