It's only when I heard that slow cranking on a couple of cold mornings, & thought of waiting for AAA in the cold, & of the hours that my trickle charger would take to prevent that, I finally was "energized" into finally doing something about my battery problems. I arrived around 1/2 hr before close, explained my situation, & before closing time, I'd had all my dead soldiers taken away, the old battery tested, found seriously wanting (Lord knows how long the previous car owner had that battery- I'd had it & the car for 3+ years, & the guesstimate lifetime is 5ish years), and the new battery put in. Pleasant staff, quick thinking & efficient operation, w/ no upselling pressure; I opted for the 3 year warranty on a new battery vs. the 1 yr, so spent I think $150 vs. $100. I feel I got a fair deal. I truly love getting in the car enroute to work & hearing that thing just turn over as it should, no matter what the temperature is!

Extremely disappointing. I bought a car battery from them a little over three years ago…read more Suddenly, the battery was going dead over night so I went back to them to have it checked. A young man hooked a small meter to my battery and assured me that both the battery and alternator were good so I spent a several hours looking for a bad circuit (after all, they're battery experts, right?). When I couldn't find anything, I took my car to the dealership where it took a mechanic less than 2 minutes to determine, and show me, that the battery was bad. So, thinking the young man just needed a little training, I sent a friendly FYI to them. Their answer from a Sydney: "We are sorry to hear about your troubles with your battery. Unfortunately, there are multiple testers and diagnostic, and not everyone uses the same information". So, Interstate batteries lost the sale of a car battery and a customer.

What WAS the problem was as soon as the car wash arms started moving I noticed the drivers side arms didn't have any soap coming out. Either frozen or blocked, some was dribbling out so I'd assume blocked. Then the passenger side arm came from the back to the front doing the same. At the end, I had paid$12.00 for the premium wash, the passenger side arms dropped all in the floor the hot wax. As soon as I pulled out I looked at the car and it was to no surprise ,,, Dirty still I asked the gas attendant for my money back, he shoved money at me yelling " IM NOT THE BOSS" " you go down there"!! Pointing towards Main St. I asked him why I should drive somewhere when he could simply call his boss? And why not close the car wash because there were many more cars in line at that point. He just yelled again "I'm not the Boss!!" I will NEVER stop at this location again. Beware Once I got in the car and went to put the money away I noticed he gave me $8. Instead of $12.
