Since then, we've had major and minor work done on our cars, and every single time Five Star has been fair, honest, and outstanding with their work and price. They recommended an excellent auto body shop when I had an accident, and even their recommendations are spot on! As other reviewers have said, they always look over the car and let you know if they find problems. They don't fix anything unless they talk to you first, and they fix problems fast so you have your car back quickly. These aren't just the best mechanics in town. These are the best mechanics I've ever encountered. They've never told me there was a problem that wasn't there. Never upped my bill, or added new charges. They HAVE told me when I didn't need work, or when a problem wasn't urgent and could wait, and they've saved me money. Best. Mechanics. Ever.

I, as well as my Husband have been going to Five Star Automotive for years. I fully trust Scott's work. He is one of very few honest to goodness business owners who can be trusted. He does good business and has a great team working for him. His competitive pricing is amazing too! I never have to worry about my vehicles I have taken to him. He has helped us out so many times. He's got a great big heart. We're the average poor family these days with kids and he has given us breaks because had we gone anywhere else we would have been paying a heck of a lot more. He does great things for people and our community. I am forever grateful for him. I don't ever want to take any vehicle I own to anyone else. What Scott says is 100% trusted and there is no better place! He's a busy guy and it can take a while to get in for service. But often times I will drop my vehicle off on a Sunday night and be ready to come get it a day or two later. And that's quite alright with me!! They have been really good to us. All great people. Friendly and I swear I could give them all a hug. We tell everyone we see to go to Scott. It's not just about business for Scott, he gives his all and he cares about people. It truly is a fantastic business! You must go to 5 star! We love them!!!

I recently picked up my vehicle from Sturbridge Auto Collision and had a very disappointing…read moreexperience. After getting my car back, I found that my center console had been gone through and items were missing, including a full cup of change (mostly quarters) and a pair of sunglasses. This was not the condition of my vehicle when I dropped it off. When I tried to address the issue, I had to call multiple times and leave several messages before getting a response. It took repeated attempts to reach the owner. When I finally did, I was told there was no reason for anyone to access the center console and that their employees would not do such a thing. Rather than showing concern or willingness to look into what happened, the response felt dismissive and unsympathetic. I was also told the paperwork I signed protects them from any responsibility for missing items, while they denied any involvement and said they had photos showing the car, including the center console, untouched, even though they also stated there would be no reason for anyone to go into it. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication, lack of urgency in returning calls, and lack of empathy or effort to investigate the situation in a meaningful way. Unfortunately, my insurance required me to use an in-network repair facility, so I had little choice but to use this shop. Based on my experience, I would think twice before leaving your vehicle in their care. Fortunately, I had already removed most of my belongings.

I had it "fixed" by a Jeep body shop at Brigham Gill Jeep in Natick which took the situation from bad to worse. Mismatching panels, over spray on the inside of the doors, chipped torque screws, and just a shabby experience all around....oh! And the bubbling of the paint returned in less than a year. Great stuff... Anyway, decided to try a different dealer that had an amazing collision center...Herb Chambers of Millbury. Unfortunately I was not allowed to use their Collision Center as I wasn't in an accident, but was sent to Audette's Auto Body. Divine Intervention. Norman and team are outstanding! The phone is always answered politely and coherently...you can hear the smile on the other end. Norman is informative, and completely honest with what he expects out of the repair.
