They brag about their warranty and don't tell you when you're buying it but that in order for them to honor the warranty, they have to take the battery and keep it overnight before they'll replace it yet other parts stores can tell you the batteries bad in a short period of time and the answer I got and I quote word for word "Well I don't know what to tell you that's just our warranty process" Long time customer lost just like that!!! it's not always what you say it's how you say it. read more

Super impressed by the quick service! I called about a half an hour before coming here to confirm they had a battery that would work in my car. I drove of there, walked right in- no line, no waiting- paid for the battery- then an employee wheeled a cart right out to my car and put the battery in my car in less than 5 minutes! I thought I'd be spending half the day in some car place- but no- I was back on the road and on with my day in LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! My only complaint is that the price was a bit high but I can't get over how convenient this place was! It's also right off the highway! read more

Update. The manager drained my battery trying to fix the dashboard. Sent me home with the promise that he'd pay to get it looked at/fixed. That night my car battery died, and somehow locked itself so it refused to start. I had to leave my car in Rhode Island and take my moms car to my new home (12 hours away, mind you). SO- my car's dashboard is messed up, the battery is drained/locked, and my original key fob (the only one I had) is deprogrammed. This is literally THE WORST. My mom used HER AAA to get my car towed to a mechanic that Chris/Josh/WHOEVER told her to take it to. They tried telling my mom that there was a recall on the key fob for my Make/Model/Year... (I called Nissan Coroporate and there was NO recall.) They lied to her to cover their asses. So he replaced one key, but still made her pay for the spare that I had came in for ORIGINALLY. ...so you're telling me that you guys mess up my car, my key, drain my battery- forcing me to leave my vehicle 4 states away- and all I get is my original key back? and THEN you make my mother pay for the spare that I came in for orignially?? No. NOPE. Josh or Chris or whoever (at this point I dont give a crap who I'm speaking to) say's he'll throw in another (cheaper) key for free... but they still have my mom's money. End of the story: my sister threatens to call their corporate office on them and they refund the money and give me another free key. TLDR; They fixed the dashboard, but tried to blame it on a recall that never existed. Still tried to take money from us, but refunded us the money and gave us a free key when we threatened to call corporate. Now my parents have to drive 12 hours to bring my vehicle to me, costing us GAS, TOLLS, and a lot of f'ing time because THEY messed my car up. I don't even want a response from your company. I don't want anything from you shady ass people. If I never hear from you again, it'll be too soon. read more

5/5 stars for lying. 0/5 stars for customer service December 2017: I brought my beats solo headphones to Batteries + Bulbs to get the broken headband fixed. I was told that they could be fixed and would be done within the following week. 2 weeks later: Josh, the store manager, called and told me that the headphones had been irreparably broken while being fixed by an employee. Not great news since I had a 6 hr flight in 3 days and would need them on the flight. He immediately offered to issue a gift card for the value of the broken beats. Awesome! I replaced them myself in expectation of this gift card. In hindsight Josh had no intention of actually issuing this gift card. Since he made the offer, I have made countless phone calls, visited the store, and supplied my mailing address all for this elusive gift card. Most recently he promised to send the card a month ago when I resorted to emailing corporate. I was told he would call when the gift card was mailed and asked to check in when received. Yet on the 1 year anniversary of my unwanted relationship with Batteries + Bulbs I have no gift card and no call from Josh. I can tolerate broken headphones and the cost to replace them. This store does not stand by its products. They claim to have a warranty, but if you bring a product back they try to weasel out of their commitment. I had bought a watch battery from here about a month prior... My watch stopped working. I brought it in (without the receipt) and NO QUESTIONS ASKED... The man behind the counter checked my battery, thought it was the watch itself but said I will give you a new battery, just in case... And it fixed the problem. Great customer service. We went to Batteries Plus to buy a battery for our robotics competition. We called the day before to verify they had the battery. We gave them the part number and they verified they had it. The next day, we arrived to pick up the battery and to test our broken one. The clerk was extremely nice, helpful, and informative. But the load meter was broken and we wasted a lot of time trying to jiggle it to work. And they had an equivalent battery but not the one with our specific part number. And we needed that specific battery. Not very happy about that. Couldn't use the battery for our competition. read more

Beware.... Batteries Plus in Seekonk...Bunch of crooks Long story short, bought a battery their last year for my car, WITH a 2 year warranty... Battery tested bad at 3 different local shops... Took car back to BP with all test results, he put his machine on, said battery was fine.... and would not honor the warranty... Went to the R I Battery Exchange in providence, got a new battery and all issues were resolved.... Guy even had the balls to start shit with me, do you know ANYTHING about batteries he said.... (This was the actual store owner..) Just my experience, but a multi million dollar company who cant help out a customer with a battery replacement, is not good business... In my store, I go out of my way to help people SO BUYER BEWARE.. You have lost me as a customer, and hopefully many other people will think twice.... read more

Tried to exchange it (still within warranty period) only to be told they think there's nothing wrong with it and I just have to charge it. I used to drive by this place and think it was odd that there is a store that sells only batteries and light bulbs...until I needed a specialty bulb. I called and they had exactly what I needed. The sales clerk even offered to hold the bulbs aside for me until I could get there. They told me that the majority of their battery sales are cell phone batteries and...wait for it...yes, they replace those pesky iPhone batteries that are perpetually giving you a low battery notice. It's $49 for the battery and $20 for installation and generally takes about 45 minutes. They also repair broken screens on phones and tablets. I'm so glad that my range hood has an odd halogen bulb and that I discovered Batteries Plus Bulbs. Oh, and it's a super quick and easy ride from Providence. Take 195 East and take the exit right after Raymour & Flanigan and it's immediately in your right. read more

These guys are the best! I needed a special battery for an ATM machine that connects to the motherboard. I could have ordered it from the ATM company at the cost of $17.00 plus $35.00 for overnight delivery. Not only did they have the battery I needed but the also spot welded the leads so it could be connected to the motherboard....the cost...$6.36. Along with saving a great deal of money I was able to get the machine up and running the same day. They know their stuff! read more

My laptop was giving me the dreaded "battery not charging" message, and since I wasn't sure if I needed a new battery or a new charger, instead of taking my chances online, I went to this store. (When I lived in Michigan, I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs all the time -- sometimes to buy something and sometimes just to drop off my collection of dead batteries for recycling.) Anyway, my 10-month old laptop battery was declared just about dead. (Serves me right for expecting longevity from a $25 battery from Amazon.) It was replaced and the new battery tested. I also got some great advice on how to prolong battery life. Although the fresh battery was more expensive than the one from Amazon, it is of much better quality and will probably outlast the machine. (There is a 14-day return policy, too.) I In addition, I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. While I was there, people were coming in just with questions, not necessarily to buy anything, and all of them got personal attention that didn't come with a sales pitch. The service here is amazing!! My son broke his iphone 5s, purchased a new LED (wrong size) from Ebay and took his phone TOTALLY APART. That is where it ended. I brought his phone into this shop with very little hope and in about 50 teeny tiny pieces and screws in a ziploc bag. No kidding, they had it fully functional in less than 2 hours and told me if they couldn't fix it, there would be no charge. I purchased the correct LED size screen, they gave me whatever coupons they currently had active and it cost less than I expected considering what a mess I brought in. I was a by passer in the store that day and honestly felt bad for the owner with the rude manor this mean costumer gave him. I am frequent shopper there and personally love the service! Unbelievable service!! I am so happy I came here. My iPhone 5s was completely ruined - screen was cracked and missing glass pieces, the actual frame to my phone was bent and the screen was sticking out of it. The screen still turned on, but there were black blotches and different colored lines all over it - I was definitely not expecting it to be salvaged in any way. My dad told me to try Batteries + because he saw an ad and it was worth a shot - either way my phone was ruined in my opinion. I brought it in and they said the store manager, Josh would be willing to give it a shot. He not only fixed it, but it looked better than when I bought the phone new - and it only took him like an hour. I was literally shocked because everyone that looked at it thought, no way. I was so happy because it only cost $99 instead of me having to buy a brand new phone which was what I was expecting to do. I got my phone back with all my saved pictures and contacts, etc...Josh is amazing!!! I recommend every person to bring their broken phones here. read more
