Then I continued to ask him questions he explained to me about glass vs fabric screen saver and even put it on for me after he fixed my screen. I couldn't be more happy with his work and the way he presents himself and his work. Everyone quoted me 250 he fixed my IPhone XR and put a screen saver on and with tax and a tip for 196.00. He told me it was my son's word against his and refused to give me the name and contact information for the manager or owner of the shop. Phone repair issue still not fixed…read more Review: I had my phone screen replaced here and from the moment I picked it up it started flickering and glitching. There is no physical damage on the phone at all. The issue clearly came from how it was reassembled. When I went back to address it the first questions I heard were "When did you get it fixed?" "Do you have the receipt?" There was no attempt to even look at the problem. No let's see what's going on. No let's determine whether this is on me or on you. It went straight to assuming it was my fault even though I paid 180 dollars and the problem began immediately after the repair. I was also told it might be because the screen was aftermarket. But aftermarket screens are still supposed to work. Assembly matters. If the repair caused the issue then taking ownership matters. I checked my review history before writing this. I have never written a bad review before. I'm only writing this to protect the next person. If this had been handled with integrity I would gladly leave five stars. Mistakes can be fixed. A key on my laptop broke. I brought my device to Staples in Smithfield, and a tech person (a woman)…read moretold me I would need to order a new key. I asked "how do I do that?" Amazingly, she printed out a form for me with how to order the key. I went online and placed the order. The cost with shipping was approximately $10. The "tech lady" also suggested I buy a freestanding keyboard so I could continue working on my computer, and I did. HERE IS THE PROBLEM ... I brought my laptop in to have the "letter e" key fixed, and the woman at Staples said it couldn't be fixed b/c there was no "underneath part" to the key. Not sure why the key I paid $10 for didn't have the underneath part. I asked if we could take the "underneath part" of another key. For example, I have two keys with the "plus" sign on them. She said no. Here's the bottom line: I will never shop at any Staples store ever again, and look, I have spent A LOT OF MONEY at Staples over the years. I have also sent emails to my friends and colleagues about this. We are going to shop at Target rather than Staples for now on.
