Do not take anything here for repair. The back of my daughters iPhone was cracked several months ago. She took it here for a replacement which they "attempted" to do. She left the store and several hours later removed the case, at which point the back cracked. Clearly a faulty installation. The shop will take no accountability whatsoever. I was actually told "there's no way that could be from faulty installation, but being the phone in and we can determine how it broke". IOW, "no matter what it's not our fault, but come waste more of your time at our store so we can tell you to go pound sand" clearly you guys need the $100 more than my 19 year old daughter. Nice work Clowns Save your time and money, go elsewhere. If there was a way to give less than one star, that's what i would do. read more

I joined Yelp just to write this review. I brought 4 iPads to be fixed today. I left with all 4 iPads because when he started working on the first one after two hours of being there when I was suppose to be picking up one of them he told me he would not and could not fix it u leads I purchased a new battery and had him install it for an additional $69. He stated that the battery was swollen and that she iPad is going to blow up. Then he tried to tell me the screen was cracked because of the swollen battery not because my husband dropped it on concrete. I ended up leaving the store with the old screen in worse condition than When I came in back on the tablet. I have searched i ages of swollen batteries and the screens lift from one side mine lays completely flat even though it's crushed and looks nothing like the photos online. Shame on the owner of this store nothing but a scammer. I plan to make a sign that says scam artist and stand outside of the business every free chance I get to warn others! read more

If I could give no stars I would, this is some of the worst customer service I've ever seen! The guy doesn't speak English who's doing the repairs so you can't properly communicate your problem to him then when the phone is not fixed after going back 3 times trying to communicate with someone that speaks no English he has me talk to another guy in the back who is rude and arrogant and they were speaking in another language (presumably Arabic) and laughing so I'm assuming it was about me since they were looking at my phone and I was the only one in the entire store. I do not recommend that you come here for repairs lest you want a bad experience. read more

I also purchased a new protective phone case and screen protector (case is heavy duty) All for UNDER 130$ and in less than 1/2 hour! Absolutely Would recommend! Stay away from "Mr Fix mobile repair shop in Johnston". I wanted to share a terrible experience with the Mr Fix & Customize shop at 1417 Atwood Ave in Johnston. This location is also an Amazon hub and I went to pickup a package today. They asked a code from Amazon which I gave them but they had no idea what to do with it. Also I noticed the package was already opened and retaped. The label was cut open(see attached picture). When I asked the staff they said someone in their office accidentally opened it thinking it was his package. I am thinking this is Amazon hub location and your people are opening package without reading the labels? Normally I should not accept opened packages but given their honesty and acceptance of mistake I was willing to accept it. After 10 minutes of trying to figure out how to enter the code they give up and call the owner. This guy walks in and they start talking in a foreign language. I am thinking the staff told him that they are incapable of entering the code that I gave them. But instead the owner tells me I need to give them the code. No apology or courtesy. I already gave them the code and yet this guy comes with an attitude thinking it is my fault. Now I am losing my mind so I ask him why was my package opened. He refused to accept that that it was opened so I show him how the label was cut from the middle and that Amazon never sends like this. Then he argues that the delivery guy mist have opened it. Well if thats the case why did you accept the package from the delivery guy. I told him Amazon clearly says never to accept open packages to which he replied "ok leave it and get out of here". On my way out I told him it's unbelievable and I think I heard him say bad words while I walked out the door. If these guys dont know how to handle sealed packages I am not sure how anyone can trust them to handle their expensive electronics(phones etc). And on top of that I dont think these guys have any respect for their customers. At that point I didnt even feel safe their and started thinking what if these guys came behind me Please be warned and stay away from this shop. All I can say is do NOT come here. The workers are awful. They are so unprofessional, rude, and ignorant. First they told me my phone would be ready in an hour, then 2 hours, then 3 hours. I came back 3 times to check on it. I paid $110 to get the back of my phone fixed and not even an HOUR LATER the entire back if it cracked. I did not drop it or hit it against anything. I simply took off my case and looked and the entire thing was cracked worse than it was before. They refuse to give me any money back. Told me it was my fault. Wouldn't even let me speak on the phone when i tried to tell them what happened and he kept saying to me was that it was my fault and no money back. I am beyond pissed off. I have never seen anything like this. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. Disgusting people. You're better off going anywhere else. I am so unhappy and angry. $110 for fucking bullshit. The owner is very helpful and pleasant. This is $75 to fix a broken iPhone 6 screen and $150 to fix the iPhone 7 plus. This is the cheapest I have found for cracked/broken screen in the providence area. There's a wide variety of phone cases as well. I opened the package for the cellphone case but I didn't want it after I bought it. They took the case back with no questions and actually insisted I get my money back. I went through mr fix to repair my phone screen. The phone is fairly new so he didn't have one in stock and had to order it. It took 2 weeks, a little excessive but ok. He told me it would take an hour so I dropped it off and returned an Hour an 20 minutes later to be told that the glue wasn't dry. Ok I haven't repaired a phone myself so It's whatever at this point to come back tomorrow at 10am. I come back the next day and I was a little taken back because he doesn't have a dedicated repair area. My phone is sitting in front of him in pieces with absolutely zero organaztion. He proceeds to tell me that they sent to he wrong LCD and it doesn't fit . So he had to wait for the glue to dry. He goes in my settings gets the correct model information, which he did the first time. Turns out he lies to me the first time saying the glue had to dry. He reordered it. I never received a call that it was in, I had to call him. I went in he compared the LCD screen and came to the conclusion that that was the wrong size LCD as well. I waited patiently while he went through the same process as the first time at which point I demanded my money and my phone back he apparently has no clue about a Motorola G8 power. If he didn't lie to me and admit his mistake from the beginning I may have considered letting him repair it. read more
