I came in to have my battery changed under my warranty, which went smoothly as soon as we identified which account it was under. Once the manager popped my hood, she took one look at my battery and immediately said she wasn't going to change it because of "corrosion". She didn't even test my battery. My fiancé had to come down to the AutoZone after work to help me. He lightly passed the brush over the battery terminal with a small wire brush about 5 times and the "corrosion" fell right off. Of course we were both upset because it's the employees' job to follow through with the warranty and provide full service. The manager failed to take responsibility and do her job. I paid for this battery and the warranty so that AutoZone could replace it when needed. My fiancé did all the work save for going to the back and grabbing a new battery. The manager, an older hispanic woman (I say this as a hispanic woman), needs retraining and possibly a refresher on company values and policies.

And I was like ok how much will it cost and they said $2,000!! I was like umm maybe later. I took the diagnostic report they gave me and took it to A-Line. Gary broke down what I needed and why and then proceeded to go down the aisles and put everything I needed into a box. I DID NOT HAVE TO LEAVE THE REGISTER! I don't know much about cars and the entire time I was there I felt welcome. It's the definition of a small town auto parts store with a friendly vibe.
