Me being able to see a woman install a battery which I know is not a big deal but for me it is because I'm use to always seeing Men care to this type of service. This is the second time this week. I've actually gone to a place and had assistance from a woman when I typically think that this job growing up it's a guy job. As I continue to grow up as a older adult, I realize that we are such powerful woman. I appreciate the two ladies that helped me out today and getting my car back up and running. Being able to be knowledgeable of how to navigate and use our resources is very key and should never be restricted to gender setting. I felt not only happy to write this review about the ladies who helped me today, but I want to encourage us as women that we should never continue to limit what we know is accessible to us as women. We don't have to live in the stereotype that I have grown up in where men have a certain job and women have a certain job. We can continue to transition and grow as we thrive through this changing world . Thank you to O'Reilly for giving ladies the opportunity to be just as equally qualified as a man to service our community. Thank you again to Jen and Sabrina for making sure that I will fully navigate and use the resources that have been provided for this new battery if needed. I am excited to ride this battery out for the next four years.

I also believe he worked to get me a reasonable deal. The dealership was not crowded, and I didn't have to wait in long lines to complete paperwork, which I have experienced at other dealerships. Overall, i would 100% not recommend you bring your classic Mercedes to Ben's…read more My situation was truly an unfortunate one. I brought my car to Ben's for a diagnostic on June 3rd. I was assured they would do a full inspection and would let me know of any findings. I gave them some time to reach out to me, but never heard anything, so i called a couple weeks after bringing my car and was told they're still trying to find the issue. I had no problem waiting, but i was getting 0 communication. I called again for weeks and finally heard back Mid July that my car "has suffered some kind of catastrophic failure resulting in very low compression.... In any event it is going to require major engine work or replacement of the engine to get the vehicle going again." As devastating news as that was, I understand this is what professionals of 20+ years said it to be and as someone with 0 experience trusted. Once my car was ready to pick up my bill was $848, far from the $300 i was quoted. I then asked why my bill was so high & I had thought the inspection was $300. They told me due to all the testing and time, my bill came out to that. Mind you, I never once was communicated about the car needing further testing and if I could approve that. Now time passes, I look for engine replacement quotes. The person recommended in lockhart is about $15-$30k to swap & rebuild. Unfortunately, it's was too over budget for me, so I list my car for an insanely low price knowing the new owner will need to replace the engine. A lovely couple purchased my car & lord behold FIXED the engine in less than 48 hours. The new owner noticed the piston rings were stuck and got the car running again. Mind you, this is someone that learned how to work on cars from home & fixed it himself at his home garage. Not only that, they called Ben's before purchasing to get an idea of what was wrong, & Ben's told them the same issues they told me + also said that I did not want to pay for further testing on the car. Which is completely false & quite literally lost me my car, thanks to their "diagnosis". It is beyond me why these "professionals" couldn't communicate properly, all it takes is a phone call. Or properly diagnose my vintage Mercedes when this is supposed to be a speciality of theirs. Maybe it's my fault for trusting them as a mechanic.
