I've been coming to this location for years on and off. You have to be traveling east on Parmer Ln., in order to access their driveway. They have tools to lend out, they will load test your battery, and test your alternator. They usually have a deal on oil which includes certain free items like the filter etc. And speaking of oil filters, their selection is not that great and they do not carry my favorite brand Wix. They have an extensive wiper selection but I noticed that the cheapest one they had was $12. The thing that keeps me coming here as opposed to going to Walmart for the same items is their knowledgeable and attentive staff. read more

I cannot begin to explain how amazing the staff at this AutoZone is. While driving my son to school, I got a flat tire. Fortunately, it was as I was about to pass by this particular AutoZone. I pulled into the parking lot, and I proceeded to be greeted by Alex Benitez, one of the store managers. He explained, very kindly, that they do not sell tires. But nonetheless, he came outside to look at my car. He then took the extra step to YouTube and Google how to retrieve my spare tire as it was located underneath the rear of the car. He then went the extra, extra mile and changed the tire for me. Without ever being asked. He took it upon himself to not only change it, but to also explain to me how to change a tire...which I had never done before. He asked for nothing in return, and simply wished me a Merry Christmas. This man deserves a raise to say the least and a promotion. He made my day brighter and saved me from having to pay for a mobile mechanic or a tow. I visited this location to gather supplies for a spark plug change. This was my first time doing it myself, and Bryce and the other guys at this location were most helpful! They were all very professional, and paid close attention to help me out. So much so Bryce noticed I had bought the wrong spark plugs from a different car shop, and he found the correct ones for my car. Thank y'all so much!! Couldn't have done it with y'all. I went back to get supplies for a second task on my car next day, for changing the battery terminal ends, and was helped by Bryce again. Again super good customer service, very knowledgeable, and gave me the necessary recommendations for a smooth change (the terminal ends on my car's battery were corroded, rusty and stuck on there) read more

Two AutoZone staff members went out of their way to help me and my boyfriend today, in a thunderstorm. My car's battery seemed to be failing so my boyfriend and I came to AutoZone to buy a new one and replace it. After disconnecting the old battery, it started raining out of no where. It went from a clear blue sky to torrential downpour in about 10 minutes. An AutoZone staff member came out in the rain and asked if we were doing okay. I said we weren't doing okay and the guy stayed with us and helped us get the new battery hooked up. He was soaking wet by the time he'd finished! When we tried to start the car it didn't start. We waited awhile for the rain to stop then tried again. Nothing would work, and we were about to give up and call a tow truck, but then a second AutoZone worker came out and looked around the engine and seemed to get an idea about how to maybe fix the car. The rain stopped and a rainbow came out at this time and I felt hopeful for the first time today. The second worker cleaned and dried some of the parts we had disconnected, and cleaned off some corrosion on one of the battery's connectors, which fixed the car! We were so relieved we didn't have to pay for a tow truck or mechanic we forgot to ask the employees their names but since the 2nd guy came and saved the day as a rainbow came out (see photo) my boyfriend has dubbed him "The AutoZone Jesus." We are endlessly thankful to the AutoZone employees who didn't give up on our car, and lent us tools and their time. Thanks for saving the day! read more

My check engine light came on yesterday so I called around to all the local mechanics to see who runs free diagnostics. When I found out that AutoZone does, I called the closest one to my house which is this one. Unfortunately, their diagnostic tester is temporarily broken but one of the mechanics there, Jay, was kind enough to come out to my car and use his personal tester to figure out what was wrong with it; I'd blown a fuse. Even though my previous review said I'd never return here, I have a few times. Things have improved and last time I was actually asked if I needed some help while looking for an LED bulb. The store plays very loud music and definitely not shopper friendly, but to the employees tastes. That's fine, its an auto parts store, but may be a turn off for some. read more

These folks are so helpful. I had a dead battery and they were able to use their machine to check and make sure it was fully dead. We discussed my options and the friendly employee (who's name I don't remember sorry!) asked how long I plan to keep the car when helping me decide which battery to buy. Good and friendly staff. If you buy parts they will replace for you. You may have to pay a extra money for it but well worth it!

I went a few days ago to get wipers blades for my BMW. The customer rep was very friendly but was not sure what he was doing. I told a certain blade and bramd but it did not fit my car after I got home. He also tried replacing and was pulling on it I tol dhim to please let me handle it as he was going to break my wiper mechinism pulling on it the way he was. read more

Terry, whom I believe is the manager, is extremely knowledgeable in both parts and vehicles. When they didn't have the exact brand of the part I wanted in stock he and his employees listed off at least 4 other local places to check so I could get what I needed ASAP to get my vehicle back on the road the same day. Would not hesitate to come back again and throw advanced questions at Terry and his team! It's hard to find counter staff who have the experience these folks do. The other parts competitor a block up Dessau road has young kids working the counter and they don't know diddly compared to these fine folks. Wow by far one of the best customer service ever. I spoke to manager name Steven via phone before arrival and he was very proactive, professional and very pleasant to work with. Then when I arrived at the store; he already knew who I was before I even spoke to him. Now that is what I call going above and beyond. Hence most of all not only was he helpful yet he went above and beyond to provide superior service. He is by far one of the best rep I've ever came across at Autozone.
