BAIT AND SWITCH - AVOID. This whole experience was infuriating and downright deceptive. They advertised a go-kart online for $899, and the salesperson actually told me they'd give me an even better deal if I bought two for my kids for Christmas. So I drove almost an hour to the store based on that promise -- only to be forced to wait around for nearly 40 minutes before anyone would actually come out to "talk pricing." Then, somehow, the price jumped from $899 per kart to over $2,200 per kart because of a bunch of extra fees that were never mentioned to me beforehand. Not once. Not when I spoke to the sales person. Not when I asked about buying two. Nothing. This is an absolute scam with misleading, dodgy business practices, and I am beyond frustrated that I wasted my time and effort on this bait-and-switch. Boyfriend was buying his motorcycle and I went with him to be nosy and to take him there as he'd be riding the bike home. It was a little busy (didn't feel crazy slammed though) and it took a lot longer than expected for them to bring his motorcycle out and set us on our way. While waiting, one of the managers (?) tried to upsell more warranties and other services. My boyfriend declined all, and the employee left for some time. And then came back to try and sell on more additional stuff??? I can't really tell if these rounds of persuasion were done to kill time while waiting for them to prepare the motorcycle for delivery (which really should have been done earlier since it was scheduled days in advance) or if the motorcycle delivery was purposely stalled to try and upsell. I understand that this is how this kind of businesses makes most of their money, but in my experience, it is normally something that is discussed on the "numbers talking" phase, not on pick up day. I had my mind set out for a Honda rebel 500 and they were able to find the color I wanted. All the staff that helped me were very..... well helpful. Since my bike had to get ship from a different store they were very communicative and made sure I got my bike after having to wait through the holidays. The gave me a run down of the bike and addons. The tire warranty they had was pretty good but i wasn't in the place to take it since it's not going to be my primary vehicle. There was quite a wait since it was kind of busy. I purchased a used 2013 Honda Goldwing on January 10, 2026. After purchasing the bike, I was told it had a recall on rear master cylinder and they need to replace prior to releasing the bike. It took almost a month. Then I had the bike delivered. I took it for a test ride and the clutch was burned out. They agreed to fix the clutch since it was just delivered. But still having issues with rear brake. I told them it's not stopping properly. The service manager told me they would check it. They delivered the bike with the same problem. Another issue is I've not received the register sticker, they said it was sent by mail and would send me the tracking number. I still have not gotten that either, but they put the plate on. No one is helping with the issues Robert Laid told me he would help me. Robert Laid told me they would send the tracking number for the brake pads, I have yet to receive that either. I've called Ashton the assistant manager from service many many times but my calls are never returned. I called Mark Hughes and no response to my voicemails. It is now April. All I'm asking for is my registration sticker, any repair paperwork done to the bike at the dealership and my rear brakes repaired as they promised. I understand it's a 2013, but they sold a bike that is not safe to ride and they assured me they would make it good. So, if your buying anything from there, make sure you check it, if delivered. If I would not have test driven it they would not have fixed the clutch. The only one who has answered my calls or tried to help is my sales guy Gilbert. Here's how it started. I drove to RideNow Austin ready to buy, not to browse, not to kick tires, but ready to purchase a quad. Within minutes I could already tell what was coming: the same tired "make you wait" routine every shady dealership uses. You sit down, they disappear, they "check with the manager," and the clock ticks until you're too worn down to negotiate. I've bought plenty of vehicles before, including three Teslas, and the difference between a modern, transparent buying process and this circus couldn't be more night and day. I wasn't going to play along. After less than ten minutes, I stood up, told them I could already see the old trick unfolding, and left. The next day, a lady from their team texted me asking how my experience went. I sent her a screenshot of the review I posted -- short, honest, and polite. That should've been the end of it. Instead, about an hour later, a man claiming to be a manager called me out of the blue "to understand what happened." I calmly explained that I didn't appreciate the sketchy tactics, that I didn't trust the process, and that I wasn't interested in doing business with them. I was completely respectful. He didn't like hearing that, and as he hung up, he actually said, "Go f-- yourself," and ended the call. That one moment told me everything I needed to know about how this place operates. Even though the general manager later tried to reach out by text and phone, there was nothing left to discuss. Once a manager crosses that line with a paying customer, there's no recovering from it. I made it very clear what I thought of that kind of operation, bluntly and without holding back. At the end of the day, this isn't just about bad sales tactics anymore. When I questioned them, the service department refused responsibility and tried to blame me for "adding too much oil" -- a complete lie, as they are the ONLY ones who have serviced my 2021 GTX Limited 300 Seadoo. Came in found something I like, made the purchased with the deal we all agreed on after many "extra charges" they tried to added into the price. Total out the door was 14.500 with 3500 down and 11,000 financing. Everything seems to be fine, until I logged in today to make my first payment. Found out they added some "extra charge" into financing for the total of 11,985 an additional 985...so I looked into the details, they added "paper works charges" into financing. I have great credit, I been using financing for many purchases before not a single one added these extra after total price was negotiated. If financing 11,500 then it should be financing 11,500 and anything with interest can be added by the bank. I knew they were shady when I was negotiating with them..tried to be very be carful as much as I can and ywt this still happened. read more

I spoke with the GM about my frustration at being told that a rear axle nut was three different sizes - Suzuki says it is a 24 - shame on Suzuki, the parts guy said it was a 27mm, then the manager told me it was a 36mm. Even though we had our eyes set on two options, it was loads of fun looking at everything in stock. So an update to my first post. I never did get a return call at any point. So since I now had 2 bikes that I purchased from them that needed repairs, we just showed up. Mark in the service department was extremely helpful and apologetic for the phone service. He helped us right away. 1 bike to less than a week to repair, while the other is still there. Purchased a brand new Kawasaki here, the bike specifics aren't really important. PRIOR to signing the loan paperwork I asked the sales representative what their grace period or return policy is -- up to 10 mi or 10 min off the lot the deal is reversible is what I was told. Since I was leaving the bike there while I secured an insurance policy anyway, I moved on with signing. OTHERWISE I NEVER WOULD HAVE SIGNED. Insurance was outrageous and the bike became too far out of budget for my comfortability so I promptly reached out to reverse the deal before ever picking the bike up or leaving the lot. At this point, they said the return policy is actually now a discretionary return "courtesy" of which they chose to not honor in this case. I requested it all the way up to the location owner with the same end result. Because it is not a chain franchise I could not go further than that. However, they did offer to buy the bike back for $9k less than I paid, leaving me to pay the $6k out of pocket to synchrony after $3k of warranties were cancelled. Needless to say, I ended up stuck with the bike. Terrible business ethic of this establishment. Any good attorneys out there reading this, feel free to lend a helping hand to a stranger in need. I recently purchased a motorcycle from RideNow Austin, and I'm very happy with my purchase. The sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They took me to each department and talked to me about service and upkeep on my bike. The gear department was fantastic and extremely helpful with finding me a jacket in the style I wanted. However, I was not impressed with the sales manager/finance manager(not really sure what he was tbh but he had a smug attitude and face the entire time and I told him as much). I found the same bike at a different location for a cheaper price. They were able to match it, but I suggest people do their research beforehand. If you already know what you want, it's a good place to go, but make sure you don't get dicked around. Overall, the experience was mixed, but I'm satisfied with the bike I got. read more

Worst buying and customer service experience I've ever had, and I have an 775+ credit score (even offered to pay in total cash) so this should have been a simple transaction. I would give this place zero if it would let me. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt the need to warn other riders to stay away from this dealer. April 26th: * I attempted to first purchase a Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Greg (finance guy) and the sales guy tried to turn a bike priced at around 6k, into an over 11k purchase. When I saw the price, I picked up my things to go as that was a ridiculous markup. They informed me that they could get a better price and that we "had to negotiate back and forth"... I told them I didn't have time for that. * They asked for 5 minutes to adjust the price and I said okay. THEY LEFT ME ON THE FLOOR FOR 45 MINS. That is no exaggeration, I have timestamps on my phone to show. As I was walking out, Greg tried to chase me down with the updated paperwork and somehow they were able to knock off 3k. I left though as I was already disgusted with the lack of respect for time. Roughly 5/26: * 30 days later I received a voicemail by Devon at their office and advised I still had my credit on file and asked if I still wanted the bike. * I returned the call and was told they had the model I wanted in the back, and not even on the floor yet. I asked if I could put the money down now via a payment link, and they said I would need to speak to Devon when she got back from lunch and they would have her call me back. I never got a callback. June 29th: * I decided to go in and try and finally get the bike. Things went smooth with sales rep Ashtin, and we discussed what I wanted with the finance package (tire package only). July 26th: * I come to find out that they snuck in the $1400 service package that I specifically said I didn't want. Due to this, I left a review with the above details and the store manager contacted me immediately to say they would correct the service agreement cost if I would remove the review. We even signed updated agreements on (I have emailed copies they sent) and he stated it would be taken care of by Monday. (This was a Friday.) I contacted the financing bank just now (11 days later), and they said they have no record of the updated agreement or anything in progress. EDIT: Aug 6th: Was called by their manager (Domonique) after leaving the above review that they meant the adjustment would "take a couple of weeks" and not a "couple of days". I've asked for this to be verified in writing from either the bank or a company policy that can be cited. Will update here if they respond. Do not waste your time at this dealership. The experience above seems to be the norm around the Austin biker community as I've visited other shops and they echo this feeling. I have been going to RideNow Austin for about three years and every time I walk in the door they treat me like a friend who also rides - instead of "prospect". I got a 2022 Suzuki Burgman 200 last year from them. I love the scooter but what I didn't realize after taking the scooter to the shop for a oil change where I live. That I was told about the two important missing bolts for the frame that holds the rear wheel on the right side of the scooter. Whoever put the scooter together in RideNow Austin didn't check thoroughly. I'm going to guess they miss putting the bolts in when putting the scooter together. Even then again that's a safety issue for not checking thoroughly before putting it on the sell floor for customers to buy. I was in an accident, brought bike to ride now to have it fixed. I understand about insurance and blah blah blah. What I do not understand is the lack of communication from the Service Department. Insurance paid out the claim about two weeks ago. Sent a text and an email to the service manager if I needed to come down and pay the deductible to get the ball rolling on ordering the replacement fairing and cowl, not a word back. Not even a hey we received payment and are ordering the replacement parts. They should be in at such and such time. I will keep you updated on the progress. That is what a customer driven company should do. Not this company. It has been one month and two days that my bike has been there. I am a pretty patient person. What I do not like or will not stand for is being disrespected by a company I am doing business with. I am stuck in the situation now and will just have to take it on the chin as a learning lesson. I went in to buy a Polaris Ranger, ended up also buying 2 Kayo TT125 - but the purchasing experience was one of the worst experience I have had buying anything in my 60 years. The salesman was great - but once it go to "the managers desk" it became a sleezy "bait and switch" not just once, but 3 times. They tried to reinsert the $199 battery warranty charge twice, changed the "rebate" once, and each time they had to go back, it was 15 min of my life I will never get back. RideNow Austin just delivered the biggest bait and switch scam I've ever encountered. They added ~$12,000 in fees to a ~$27,000 base price boat. (That's a 44% increase for those who are counting.) I went in today to buy a SeaDoo that is clearly advertised on their website for $26,899. They refused to discuss pricing details over the phone, so I drove an hour to work out the details and go buy the boat. After gladly wasting a couple hours of my time, they informed me that the out-the-door cost would include an additional ~$5K+ in destination charges, ~$2K in "assembly" fees, and another ~$2K in who-even-knows-what fees. The rest was the standard TT&L, which was expected. This isn't even mentioning that the boat was a prior year model that had been sitting on the lot gathering dust, sun damage, and deep scratches in the side of the hull for the past year. It wasn't even a new-condition boat. (The salesman also tried to lie to me about the plastic wrap having just been taken off, when that clearly wasn't the case.) They had no problem at all wasting my Fourth of July holiday looking me straight in the eye and delivering this scam. The worst part is, I spent all morning on this when I should have been out on the lake with my kids.
