Very impressed with the extra effort and special attention given me during the installation of Romik running boards on my 2018 Ford Edge. I had purchased them from another vendor online and they agreed to install them. Most businesses will not install customer supplied parts. The installation instructions were written and illustrated incorrectly. The maker sent different mounting brackets. Truck Works took off the others and installed the new ones precisely as new directions and illustrations called for and they stilled looked and fit terrible. After more emails and photos to Romik they were told to put them on exactly opposite of the way Romik had previously instructed them. Surprisingly they fit backwards ok. Most businesses would have said enough is enough with that kind of customer service. But Truck Worx did three installations to satisfy this customer who did not even buy the parts from them! Needless to say, I was extremely impressed with Truck Worx's dedication to customer satisfaction.

After the work was completed, I drove the vehicle home for the weekend. On my next drive, I noticed a burning smell. I pulled over and found that both front wheels were smoking. I had to call a tow truck to have the vehicle taken to another repair shop, where they found that Brakes Plus had over-tightened the wheel bearings when replacing the rotors. As a result, both sides now need to be replaced again. I have reached out to the store and corporate but have not received any response. I was able to speak with the store manager, but he has not been able to help with any reimbursement for the damage caused, or even for the tow truck costs to get the vehicle re-evaluated after the incorrect installation by the Brakes Plus technician.

We kept getting jerked around when trying to get what we paid for and ordered online. No one has a clue, they are extremely rude and when we actually had another location saying they'd ship it to CR, they told them no! We were the ones making the phone calls trying to get one to be shipped here from another location. WTH?? So we order a third time being told it will arrive and it doesn't. Stop at the store and there's a Closed Permanently sign on the door! Maybe tell us that and give us our money back??? Of course not! So we had to bring corporate into it only for them to tell us they called the owner and he tells her "you have the wrong number" and hangs up! So then we have to open a dispute with our credit card wasting so much time dealing with them. Website says temporarily closed but we'll never deal with them again! Doesn't even deserve a1 star.
