Helped me with my issue and recommended services even when they couldn't do it very pleased with their customer service

We've had the best luck with a battery only they sell so we really wanted to get another one. This place is a nightmare to deal with. We kept getting jerked around when trying to get what we paid for and ordered online. No one has a clue, they are extremely rude and when we actually had another location saying they'd ship it to CR, they told them no! We were the ones making the phone calls trying to get one to be shipped here from another location. WTH?? So we order a third time being told it will arrive and it doesn't. Stop at the store and there's a Closed Permanently sign on the door! Maybe tell us that and give us our money back??? Of course not! So we had to bring corporate into it only for them to tell us they called the owner and he tells her "you have the wrong number" and hangs up! So then we have to open a dispute with our credit card wasting so much time dealing with them. Website says temporarily closed but we'll never deal with them again! My daughter recently brought her Apple IPhone 12 to batteries + in Cedar Rapids (Blairs Ferry) to have a charge port replacement. She received the phone back and started having issues with her screen, microphone and speakers, and when she went to charge it, the phone heated up severely to where we had to tell her to unplug the phone due to it being a fire hazard. She brought the phone back in and they opened it up again to find a loose connection that was causing the issue. She took the phone back and now the battery charge only last 3-hours at best. We went back to the store to discuss an insurance claim for the faulty repair made which further damaged the phone. The store manager Steve, claims they fixed the phone and there "must" be something else wrong with the phone other than being caused by their repair. This phone is only 14-months old, and Steve is claiming it's now a motherboard issue or a software update problem. It's pretty clear to me that this location made an error in repair and caused a severe overheating issues, and do not want to take responsibility. Steve went as far as to say to us, that how did he know there wasn't any additional issues with the phone prior to them touching it... Well Steve, the answer to that question is, you had the phone open twice... You ran diagnostics on it... You didn't find anything additionally wrong with the phone. Do the right thing, make an insurance claim because the first guy who repaired the phone who is no longer working at your location caused additional damage. I wouldn't recommend bringing any cell phones here for repair... They refuse to take responsibility for their poor work and based on my interaction accuse their customers of trying to scam them. read more

My wife went in to replace a battery in her Garmin unit today. Trying to make it easy, she gave the chap the number that she needed, while also explaining, In case he was going to look up the info in a catalog, that the info in the sheet provided by Garmin was incorrect. She wanted to open up the unit and install the battery on the spot, but for some crazy reason the bloke tried to scold her, saying 'but you might be wrong'. She almost walked out of there, but chose to stay and eventually got the battery that she asked for, by number. The chap did not even say 'thank you' after the sale. Since I waited outside, she relayed the story to me. As I drove away, I made a U-turn and returned to the shop to question his behavior and demeanor. I began by asking him what was the number of the battery that he sold her. And I also said that was the battery that she asked for, BY NUMBER. So what was the problem? He stumbled and stuttered, and finally offered an apology. I have never, ever felt the need to do such a thing. However, my wife works in retail, so she is accustomed to events related to retail. She would never have mentioned it to me if she wasn't offended by his attitude. Hopefully this late 40ish man is a part-timer and was only having a bad day. I mean c'mon. It's not like there was more than one customer in the store on a snowy day. It's a battery, not a rocket ship. read more

If I could give me a 0 star I would because I had a bad car battery and guy said that they would not have someone there until 5pm and I got the battery from here a few years back but I had no receipt, and somehow they could not pull my information up so I bought it from this location. The guy was a dick behind the counter. I won't ever buy a battery from these guys again. read more

I had taken a charging pack in to have batteries replaced,which this pack is obsolete and cannot be purchased anymore I talked to the owner of this franchise and I am completely confident of the knowledge and aptitude of this man. Talked to him in length about inverters and battery combinations. I went in to pick up my battery pack, "well today i am using it again" thank you!! to the owner and all that work their for a great service and a job well done!! Bravo Zulu!! I made an appointment online to get my cell phone worked on. They called me a day or two before to confirm my appointment. I show up on the scheduled day and time (Saturday) and I am told that there are no technicians working and that I would have to reschedule online for a Monday - Friday 8-4 appointment. I don't know about you, but I work which is why I scheduled my appointment on a Saturday. If there are no technicians working on Saturdays then why does the online scheduling system allow you to book an appointment? If there are no technicians working on Saturday then why would they call and confirm my appointment on Saturday? The store manager blamed "corporate" for the online scheduling issue and his inability to find technicians. I'm sorry, but all poor excuses. Don't business with these people. read more

I downloaded the Yelp app just to add this review. After finding my phone would not hold a charge I thought I needed a replacement - other than getting a new phone or paying $150 for a replacement I went here - they happily cleaned lint out of my phone for free and it works perfectly. Most helpful store I have ever been to. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and made sure they explained every detail of the warranty on the battery I had them install, for free. Was also able to get a new battery for my key fob while I waited. Very pleased and will return to this store in the future. read more

Don't let them work on your phone! They will weasel their way out of honoring their warranty.

They sold me a motorcycle battery a month ago with a 6 month warranty on it. The battery was having issues so I took it in to have them look at it. They said it was out of acid and that the only way this could happen is if I held the battery upside down. I told the associate that the battery was placed in the motorcycle within an hour of purchasing it and has been in there ever since, so unless someone hung up my bike upside down there is no way that was possible. He insisted that the associate that sold it to me sealed the battery properly after filling it even though there was some fluid on the battery next to each cell. Instead of warranty exchanging or giving me a refund he told me I had to purchase a new one. Very disappointed in this place and will not give them my business ever again. read more

I took in an iPhone 6s with a cracked screen. It was working perfectly. Two hours later I picked it up and took it home only to find it was nonfunctional. I took off the screen protector they sold me and still could not enter anything without literally pounding on the screen. I immediately called back and they advised me to bring back the phone so that they could remove the screen so they could get a refund and my charges would be reversed. When I returned a few days later, they refused to honor their promise. Don't let them fix your phone. They will destroy it and deny responsibility. Terrible customer service.
