Called John and his wife and they were at my house first thing Monday morning. I brought John downstairs to show him what was going on, and where everything had happened and he gave me a very reasonable price if he were have to snake from my laundry room out to the street, UNLESS I had another drain somewhere in my basement. I recalled feeling a dip in one part of my carpet, so we cut a little hole and sure enough, there was the drain. John got to work, chiseling away at the concrete that was around the plug, and got it to open up. Then he had me flush all my toilets, and run my shower to make sure everything looked okay. He was very knowledgeable and very open to helping me in case something like this were to happen again and what to look for. John and his wife were the absolute sweetest and I would use them again and again. Thank you for coming by John! Really appreciate your help and wisdom!

When the faucet died, I naturally asked them to find and replace the faucet. Here's what I learned: 1 - do not rely on the information provided by whoever answers the phone. They are just a receptionist with zero knowledge about what is possible or practical. 2 - do not work directly with the servicing technician on parts. they don't know how to work with the "front office" to make sure the correct part is ordered...and they don't provide any updates on status of orders. (not my job, was the essence of the explanation) They might be good at cleaning out clogged drains, but I wouldn't trust them to do that right either. Use them at your peril. You've been warned.

The receptionist was very friendly and professional, and even though not a technician, offered up a few basics to check before they sent someone out in the morning. Josh was my technician who called to let me know he was on his way about 10-15 minutes beforehand which was great, and was even a few minutes early. He was able to point out to me how my furnace worked while he was working, and explained what all of the parts were without making me feel like an idiot so I could do a little more intermediate troubleshooting if something were to happen again. Josh found the issue and showed me the part that was broken, what function it had and why it likely had broken down. He was in and out in about an hour, was very professional and helped explain a lot of things that I didn't understand. As a fairly new homeowner I appreciated the extra time taken so I could get a better comprehension of what was going on. I will definitely be using Hanna's for any other issue I ever come across, and would highly recommend them.
