The receptionist was very friendly and professional, and even though not a technician, offered up a few basics to check before they sent someone out in the morning. Josh was my technician who called to let me know he was on his way about 10-15 minutes beforehand which was great, and was even a few minutes early. He was able to point out to me how my furnace worked while he was working, and explained what all of the parts were without making me feel like an idiot so I could do a little more intermediate troubleshooting if something were to happen again. Josh found the issue and showed me the part that was broken, what function it had and why it likely had broken down. He was in and out in about an hour, was very professional and helped explain a lot of things that I didn't understand. As a fairly new homeowner I appreciated the extra time taken so I could get a better comprehension of what was going on. I will definitely be using Hanna's for any other issue I ever come across, and would highly recommend them.

They were true professionals who not only treated me with respect, but you could see the respect their employees had for each other. They worked very hard on a messy job that took hours of hard work to accomplish. Their fees were more than reasonable and they met every quote they gave me. They were so efficient that I had them replace my toilets which took less than 24 hours. They also fixed my water heater that had a leak and every job they performed works perfectly! They took a very distressing situation and treated it with urgency and true craftsmanship! You can't ask for any better service than the professionals at Hanna and they do it for a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone with even the simplest of plumbing problems! And for the truly invasive, messy problems, you can TRUST them to take care of the problem with great efficiency! It is a huge relief to know Hanna is out there if I should ever have any plumbing problems. I can't say enough good things about their professionalism!

They came out same day to let me know that the water heater was shot and needed replaced. The current water heater was a Rheem 40 gallon 40,000 BTU 12 year Professional ($900). They told me they would replace it with a Richmond Economy water heater from Menards, when asked to replace it with same brand they said they do not buy Rheem, only what Menards sells. Being without water and that they had already cut the water lines I really had no choice. They left to "run to Menards" and brought back a water heater, rushed to take it out of the box and throw it in. as they were installing it i went and looked at the box, it was only a Economy 40 gallon, 36,000 btu 6 year water heater ($399). I asked the installer and he said "I don't know what to tell you, people don't usually ask this many questions" I was given the owners number and called him, he informed me this was just the way they do it, and that this is the standard water heater he installs. I asked him how he takes out a $900 dollar water heater, gets authorization from the home warranty to install a $900 water heater then goes to Menards and buys a $399 economy water heater. He replied "I do it to everybody, if you don't like it I'll tell my guys to leave". so I googled the water heaters at Menards Other options Richmond 40 gallon, 40,000 btu 12 year ($619), or even a Richmond 40 gallon 38,000 btu, 9 year ($526), Repeated calls to the company have been ignored or just told where to stick it and hung up on. These people are scam artist. Beware. Do not do business with this company

I called Sunday April 19, 2026 and the after hour person, Dane, took a thorough message, "What was…read morethe possibility of a service person coming between Monday or Tuesday to clean our fireplace gas insert as well as clean our Ac compressor. We were listing our home for sale much sooner than anticipated." I received a call Monday morning saying they received my message and they could schedule us that day as they had just had a cancellation that was actually for our area. By 11:00 Am that day the service person, TJ came out and cleaned the AC compressor and gas insert and glass. I was thrilled when I saw how fabulous the fireplace looked. Thank you Colony Heating and Ac and Thank you TJ!

I do not recommend doing business with Colony. While the service technicians are polite and nice…read morethe company does not support the customers, product and warranty work. We have also found out their pricing is expensive. For one repair, they told us it generally takes 30-60 minutes; however, they charge everyone for 8 hours' worth of labor in case it takes that long as an OCCASIONAL job has taken that long. So, you pay for an 8-hour job, it takes them 1 hour and then they move to the next job and get paid again for their time that has already been paid by another customer. Our furnace is less then 10 years with a 10-year warranty. The control board failed and they will not cover the part under a warranty even though it is a known problem yet not defined as a recallable defect covered by the warranty. Trane has published a work around for the issue which Colony performed yet Colony & Trane point fingers at each other on whether the fix was installed correctly or not so neither will cover the part damage. They are charging 50% more for the part than a competitor and wouldn't even give a discount or offer to give us the part at cost even though we have a paid service contract with them which is also overpriced. Never buy a Trane furnace/air conditioner from them. They promised the service manager would call to see what could be done and we never received a phone call. They were unwilling to do anything to fight to get the part covered by the warranty even though it was clear that we could not have caused the damage. There are better options out on the marketplace.
