I took my car there for a tire change and alignment, the tires came out good and the service was…read moredecent. However, the alignment was not done the greatest. Fast forward 4 months I came in with a flat tire to get repaired. Long story short they ended up losing my tire and sent my mom all over town on a wild goose chase. In the end, they found my tire sitting in their shop. Now fast forward 6 months I ended up getting a nail in my rear tire. I also noticed that the front right tire was already getting bald. So I took the whole car in and asked them to repair the tire with a nail in it and also to rotate the tires, and check the alignment. The lady said okay and I asked how much for the rotation which she then said its free. So after the tire was repaired I went to get it and noticed the tires were never rotated. Rather than going back in I decided to do the rotation on my own as it is not very difficult. Unfortunately, it was because the lugnuts on one of the tires were on there so tight an impact drill could not get it off so I used a breaker bar and a lead pipe. I was not able to get it. fast forward 3 months, The tire is bald on the outside meaning the alignment was never done. So I took the tire into the shop and asked for them to fix it. The guy there told me the warranty would not cover it because it was an alignment issue. I told him they had aligned it but he then told me it needs to be aligned twice a year. So on 11/05/22 the tires were installed and aligned then on 9/01/23 they were supposed to be aligned and rotated but weren't. I then gave him the tire and he gave me the quote and told me there would be a new tire on there when I came back later. I then went home and my mom called and explained to them how I should have had the tires aligned on 11/05/22 and aligned and rotated on 9/02/23. The lady then tries to say that I never asked her to do any of that back on 9/02/23. She told my mom that she was not there and basically called me a liar. My mom then asks her for her name and she then hangs up. Later that day my mom went back in to pick up the tire they were supposed to repair and nothing had been done to it. The guy told her he did not know if I wanted the tire to be changed or just inspected which makes no sense, I told him it needed to be changed. He also told me he would change it.

I called professional Muffler and spoke to Ty who said to bring it in and he would be able to look at it the next day. I dropped it off around four and by 4:30 PM, he called and said that my brakes were fine and that I still had 30% left. The outside and inside of this location is very clean and bright not like other dark and dirty service locations. I only needed to wait a short time for others in front of me to be serviced. Once I talked to someone we discussed different options available to me and I felt I was not being forced to pay for the higher priced oil. We discussed the differences and I was able to make an educated decision. The service time was reasonable for the oil change about 30-45 minutes as expected and less than I have waited in the past at other locations. And it allowed me to have a couple frosted beverages at 30 hop on the other side of the parking lot. :) When I returned shortly before my service was done I was the only one in the entrance. I was quickly & cheerfully greeted by the Service Manager Kevin and he apologized for not meeting me earlier because he was with another customer. He mentioned that he was finishing up some research into some of the concerns the technician found with my vehicle. He showed me pictures and later provided me with prices and service times for each item. I was provided with email receipts and future service items along with the inspection details of everything from tire pressure to air filter quality. I would feel comfortable recommending this location to anyone who has very limited automotive knowledge. I do not think they would take advantage of anyone. They ordered the part and got it fixed! I dropped my car off the night before and they had it done by noon the next day. The front desk guy, Gavin, is also the sweetest! He asks questions to make sure you get everything looked at that you need to. I had an oil change, and a diagnostic test done, and they switched out alternators. I would 100% recommend and do repeat service with everyone at Al's! They also charge a reasonable price for all of their labor, products, and knowledge, they will not "pink tax" a female!

I called and spoke to them on the phone I explained what my car needed and asked if they did those…read morerepairs they said they did. So I booked an appointment on line. They claim to be full tow service so I called to have my car towed into their shop I was informed that no they don't do towing, so I asked why they claim to be full tow service when Gary informed me that they provide the phone number for me to call and make the arrangements to have my car towed into their shop, not sure how that makes them full tow service but I can certainly Google a phone number myself. I was also in formed that the online appointment don't coincide with the shops actual schedule. And just because I made the appointment for that day does not mean that is the day they will get to my car. I was at work and didn't have time to find another shop and explain what I needed done. I paid $181 to have my car towed to their shop. I called a few hours later just to make sure my car had been towed in. I was told they hooked a code reader up to the car and he proceeds to tell me a thousand different things that could or couldn't be wrong with the car. I told him I don't care what the code reader says are you going to fix the valve cover gasket which is why I brought it in. He goes on and on about this code reader and how fixing that isn't going to do any good if I don't fix this and this and this. So I said okay don't worry about it I'll come pick up my car because a code reader can give you 10 different codes and from there it's a guessing game. Never asked my car to be hooked up to a code reader I dropped it off explaining what I needed done. He informs me that I owe $87.00. they didn't do anything to my vehicle except hook it up to a code reader that I never asked for and literally takes what maybe 30-40 seconds. so $181 to have it towed, $87 for the 30second effort they spent on my car and the $100+ dollars it's going to be for another tow truck. It cost me over $400 just to have them hook up a code reader. And not the actual repairs I took it in for. After calling other businesses who will actually service my vehicle I was informed my car doesn't even have a valve cover gasket it has a cam carrier... Too bad the code reader couldn't tell them that! I can't even express how much I do not recommend

I received a written estimate the same day so I asked them to go ahead and order the parts needed for the repair. They were on it. I received a follow up call letting me know the parts were on order, some had come in and I was told I would be contacted as soon as the rest arrived. In no time I got that call. I took my truck in and dropped it off. Within 4 days the repairs were completed. I picked up my truck today and it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Al and his crew did a fantastic job. The cost of the repairs were great. I hope I never need body work done on my truck again but if I do I will most definitely use Lynch Collision Center in Mt. Vernon.
