Kudos to Jiffy Lube!!! I took my SUV in for an oil change. I had previously taken it into a local shop for a thorough inspection to make sure it was still road worthy as it has 227K miles on it. The shop did a very good job and I was very satisfied, but it missed something that Jiffy Lube pointed out to me. Jiffy Lube told me that the air intake hose was almost completely ripped around the tube and was connected by only a very small portion. If it ripped all the way off the SUV would lose power immediately. The next day I replaced the hose. THANK YOU Blairsferry Jiffy Lube!!! read more

We've come to this location a few times now for oil changes and once to change several exterior bulbs on my Prius. It's close to home so we're able to drop off the car and run home with no problem. Services are pretty quick, but do anticipate a wait on weekends. It's a little unclear if you aren't familiar that you're supposed to park in a line and check in inside. They'll look over your vehicle then give you the price. The techs are always reasonable about what has to be done immediately and what can wait. I've never felt condescended to, manipulated, or judged about which services I declined or accepted. Not a lot of amenities as far as the waiting area and the parking lot is very small. I really don't expect a lot from this quick service chain, but I haven't experienced any of the issues others have mentioned. read more

The guys working were all very nice and got me in right away! (I had just stopped at Meineke and they told me it would be 1.5 hour wait) Being a young woman that knows little about cars, they could have definitely pulled the wool over my eyes and told me I needed to change my air filters or convince me to get a more expensive oil, but they didn't. They said my filters were borderline and could probably wait until next oil change and told me the two oils were basically the same, just a name preference. Went for a oil change, Paper work they gave me says they checked and filled all my fluids. Here we are two weeks later and my transmission fluid is bone dry empty, now my transmission slipping. read more

I got in line behind a vehicle getting an oil change. I used the restroom and upon my return they had moved my vehicle to the other line behind a vehicle getting a transmission oil change which was going to delay me an hour. Why? I asked for the owner to call me. Crickets. Don't bother doing business here, especially if you are a normal & patient individual. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. I and a few of my friends have gone here and left with an oil leak EVERY TIME! The "mechanics" can't even do an oil change properly and then tell you everything in the book needs replaced! I took it to another mechanic and he was even very surprised at how uneducated they are! They always over tighten the drain plug! I'm not one to bash on people but this has happened more than once! Might as well do an oil change yourself than go here. Unbelievable. read more

Would not recommend. I have used other jiffy lubes and not had the problems I had from this location. First off, they weren't busy and still took over an hour to get my oil changed. This should have been my first clue something was wrong. Drove my vehicle home and parked it in the driveway. Came out the next morning to find a large puddle of oil under my vehicle. Got under the vehicle and found it was leaking from the oil filter. They hadn't even hand tightened the filter. Thought I better check the drain plug too. Surprise, it was loose and leaking too. Fixed it and thought I better check the oil level. Opened the hood and was amazed at their handy work of completely missing the oil fill port. So bad that there was standing oil on the top of the engine. Cleaned it up and needless to say I wont be back to this location and have a second thought before going to Jiffy Lube again. read more

They put the wrong oil into my car for 4.5 years and it messed up my engine. The dealership fixed it and told me that 100% cause was due to wrong oil. Jiffy lube refuses to cover costs of repairs and said it doesn't matter what oil is used, oil is oil. read more

Service is fast and friendly, they ask you before they replace anything, tried to sell you on air filters non stop, that's one thing anyone can do yourself and you can save over 50%. I guess they rotate tire now. Once there done they parking is a little congested here. So be careful backing up and pulling out. read more

Jiffy Lube - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Last visit, my wife left this Jiffy Lube and the bottom engine tray started dragging on the ground. Returned to Jiffy Lube and they forgot to put the bolts back on but installed the 3 remaining bolts that survived the drive and told my wife should could buy replacements bolts for the ones lost due to their mistake. I said take it somewhere else next time. Fast forward to this week and she returned for an oil change to the same dumb place and my son drove it home with the tray dragging on the ground again. I said to take it back and have them put all the bolts in, including the ones they lost previously. She called them and they told her the bolts they put in were badly stripped and if they fell out, there was nothing they could do. Wow! They also reduced the tire pressure in the front so much that they tires were flattening out as I drove it up the tire ramps to fix the first problem. Spent a lot of time fixing Jiffy Lube's mistakes they refused to fix. I'll be taking my business to a competent and professional business in the future and I hope this review can prevent others some time and aggravation also. read more

Terrible customer service. Multiple people were helped before me... was not first come first served, and then they were rude and dismissive when I mentioned that I was there before some of the other cars. Won't be coming back. read more

Every time I go to this particular location they never seem to screw on my oil cap tightly and I end up leaking oil. How hard is it to screw on an oil cap so oil doesn't leak everywhere? They were fast, and reasonably priced, but that is it. read more

Not terribly "jiffy". Was there almost 2 hours. Other than that, it was ok. No huge complaints.

I've not really had any problems before but today their service was terrible. The only thing I asked them to make sure and do is make sure and fill the tires. When I got back in my car the low tire pressure light was still on so I had to go to the gas station and fill it up myself. Not a huge deal but annoying. The "window cleaning" I got was pretty much just wiping a wet rag across the windows. I could see out of them better before I went in. They always push add ons (fuel filters, cabin and engine air filters). Won't be going back. read more

Been going here to get my company vehicle serviced for 3 years. Always thought they were a little pricey based on the price of buying your own oil at an auto parts store (change my own oil in my personal vehicles). Never felt like they sold me something I didn't need or that wasn't scheduled from the manufacturer. Took my NEW to me work vehicle in today for an oil change, full synthetic was nearly 100 dollars for 6 quarts and a filter. After I left I found motor oil/grease on my steering wheel, both front fenders, and oily handprints along my driver's door from them opening/closing, and there was oil dripping off my engine skid plate where they let the used oil drain on to it instead of out the access hole. Left 3 softball sized oil stains on the ground where I parked. They definitely did not vacuum my floors, they still had the same crap on them as before I went in. Only squeegie'd the side windows but not the windshield where all the bugs were, and the side windows they let the dirty water run down my recently washed white paint which left black streaks. There was also motor oil spots all over my engine compartment, not sure how that happens... read more
