I'm thoroughly impressed with Marion Tire Co. I have only been to Marion Tire Co once, for an oil change, but my mom has been taking her car there for years. As much as I love my mother I will admit she may not be the brightest when it comes to cars. It would be pretty easy for someone to take advantage of her when it comes to the health of her vehicle. Despite that, the kind people at Marion Tire Co have been nothing but wonderful to her. She's taken her car in for new tires, AC repair, oil changes, muffler belt changes (kidding), blinker fluid fill ups (seriously, kidding!), and even called them once or twice to pick her up when she had a flat. They have given her some of the best deals I have ever heard of on both parts and labor all while being kind and going out of their way to help her. The management and staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. If I lived in Crapids this would be my go to spot for my cars check-ups and repairs. read more

Had issues with my daughters car. Thought we had the problem fixed but turned out not to be. Almost had to take the car to dealer, but they wanted to get to the bottom of the problem. I was refunded the original amt, they researched what else the problem could be and did find it. They made it a priority, showed concern for the situation and we are now back in the car. I have taken all of my vehicles here and never had concern that my cars were not getting great care. All my tires come from here also. If they cant fix your car, they make it right and refer you on to where you need to be. read more

They're always taking care of me here. I can break all my wheels and they always fix them. I've had my tires patched repeatedly by these folks. It's like people in this town just throw nails in the road. It's nuts. Friendly? Fast? Honest? All those things are true. We were in town visiting family-on our drive in our car started creaking badly. The guys were able to get us in same day (within the hour). They found a few loose things under the hood and tightened them up free of charge. They also gave us a comprehensive list of items that could cause the noise if it came back-all free of charge! read more

I am very leery of tire places. Let's just say that the industry as a whole does not have a very good reputation. (See my review of Tires Plus for a prime example) Marion Tire Company is a rare exception. The people are friendly and helpful. The one time my vehicle had an issue they showed me what it was and patiently explained why it was an issue. They checked several different tires and recommended the best option for my truck (which was not the most expensive, either). My truck had an alignment issue which required extra effort... at no extra cost. The "out the door" price quote did not include unnecessary extra items. They even have a sign on the counter saying what is included and not included with a road hazard warranty, so you can make your own informed decision. I've taken 4 vehicles there over the last 4 years and will continue to do so. In an industry that has a less-than-stellar reputation, Marion Tire Company stands out as a rare exception. They have earned my continued business and deserve a chance to prove their worth to others. read more

This place rocks! I'm serious! When anyone brings up the discussion of tires places or getting your car repaired, we all tend to cringe and then swap our horror stories. Rest assured - once you go to Marion Tire - the stories will only be positive. I've been doing business here for the past 18 years and only have positive stories and experiences. One thing to highlight is this is a locally owned, family owned business. While it might carry a national sign - its 100% family and local (I love local). The location is completely easy to find - its right off of 7th Avenue - across the street from Kum & Go Gas Station. When you walk in the doors - you notice a beautiful waiting area complete with beautifully tiled floors, leather chairs for seating, fresh coffee, water and juice for the kids (or big kids too). I've always been greeted with a smile and nothing but 100% attention to my vehicle and any concerns I've ever had. What I LOVE about this place is they tell you when things are starting to wear. They always let you know you need to prepare for it - but not replace it at that time. It makes it so easy to budget ahead of time and know what my future repair costs will be. When I have had something wrong with my vehicle, the staff explains to me very clearly what the issue is, will show me what is wrong and is usually always able to repair the vehicle that day vs having to set another appointment to come back in. I do recommend an appointment - this place is super popular - with people coming from all the way across town, out of town and out of state; yes out of state people come here to service their car. They are rockstars of the car repair business. You won't go anywhere else after you go to Marion Tire. read more

I've been going to Marion Tires for years, and they have never let me down. In fact, TWICE I have taken my car in, suspecting trouble only to have them tell me I did not need to replace / fix anything. I know very little about cars, and they could have easily charged me for services I did not need. Furthermore, they are are not only honest and very good at what they do, but they are friendly! I recently had to bring my car to Marion Tire to have them check a noise that I felt was coming from the front end of my car. They found that the right axle was damaged and they replaced that. However after driving the car for a day or two, the noise returned so I swung by the garage and they gave me an appointment for later that afternoon. After putting the car back on the lift, the mechanic felt that it was not something that they could fix. He thought it was either the transmission or the differential and when he test drove my car he felt the noise was coming from the rear and not the front. He then referred me to Mysak Transmission. There was no charge for the second appointment even though the mechanic spent time with me and my car. While I sat in the waiting room, other customers came in with different issues. The staff that Marion Tire were very professional and very eager to try to solve everyone's problem while they were there. This is definitely a business I will come back to time and time again. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! Long story short I had a flat tire 2 years ago in the parking lot of a bank in Marion. The spare tire was lodged in it place up under my van, a guy walks out of the bank and without any hesitation offers help. He had on nice clean clothes but got down under my car against my protests all the while telling me that, "This is what neighbors are supposed to do" and tried to get the spare unstuck without a second thought. Secretly I was glad that he couldn't get it undone either as I had fought with it for about 10 minutes. Turned out the thing was rusted in place. Anyhow as I thanked him for helping he told me he worked at Marion Tire and if I got the car there, they could help me. I called AAA had it towed and wound up buying 4 new tires. I needed them anyhow and since the guy (Mike) had done so much to help me at the bank, how could I go somewhere else. In that two years, my Partner and I have had our oil changes done there got a referral for a new transmission for my car, gotten new gaskets, seals etc and gained confidence that when we take our cars they are going to do a great job at a fair price and treat us like every other customer. Just last week one of their mechanics (Kevin) fixed a leak in my coolent system. I really can't praise Marion Tire and their team of people enough. Katy at the counter is such a real and welcoming person, her Dad the owner is great. Just an all around good bunch of people. read more

The employees at Marion Tire are the best and the work is always excellent. My son had a tire blowout and we drove into the parking lot at 5:40, ten minutes past closing. Ashley was leaving to pick up her kids at daycare, but stopped and asked me what I needed. I told her that I would just leave it and come back in the morning, but she insisted that they check me in and put the car in the garage before she left. I got checked in and gave them my keys and it was close to 5:50 before I left. These are the kind of people that work at Marion Tire and I really appreciate their kindness and help. I've been going to Marion Tires for at least six years and have only received exceptional friendly/comical/customer service. This is a family run business and customers are part of the family atmosphere! They take time to get to know their customers and allow you to know them. The mechanics do excellent work, they explain the problem in lamen terms, what's needed, what's most important if you can't afford it all at once but never steer you in the wrong direction. My first encounter was with one of the mechanics, at a nearby gas station I was attempting to put air in my tire and he came over to help. He then suggested I come over to the shop so he could check the pressure in all my tires. He didn't try to sell me tires, he just wanted to help. As a single woman I trust them completely. Lots of my friends give this business rave reviews but I didn't feel I had as good of an experience as they did. The place is clean and well run and service is fast. I bought a set of very expensive tires and unfortunately also ended up having to pay for brake rotors because apparently mine broke when they put on the tires. I had had the rotors checked only two months before and they were fine so the added expense really didn't sit that well with me (as in I feel like I got ripped off) so I won't be going back. read more
