Huge Thanks to Ed! What a day, what a day! What started as a quick stop for gas in Cary turned into a full-on car emergency when our vehicle refused to start. After a kind couple's attempt to jump the car didn't work, we were feeling pretty stuck--until we realized we were literally across the street from an O'Reilly Auto Parts. I called the store, and that's when Ed became our hero of the night. Without hesitation, he walked across the street with a jumper and got our car running again. And he didn't stop there! We headed over to the shop, bought a new battery, and Ed even installed it for us right then and there. Ed was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind--exactly the kind of person you hope to run into when your car dies and you're stuck with your plans derailed. I can't thank him enough. This O'Reilly location is convenient to neighborhoods I frequent in the area. I've made multiple different visits and purchases here over the years dating back to 2020. Today Chris was in the store. I recognized him from previous visits. He always provides a warm welcome as soon as my feet cross the threshold of the entrance. Chris is an exceptional Auto Parts expert and works very quickly at getting what I need. Chris also takes the time to provide educational details on the different options. I needed a headlight bulb because if it's not a fog light it's my headlight bulbs blowing after a few years. The joys of vehicle ownership! Chris was kind enough to put the bulb in for me. I appreciate the service and the staff here not just this visit but every visit before this. I plan to hold on to this experience and I will return to this location if needed again and I will recommend others. Thank You! read more

This is my GO TO place to buy finishing paints and epoxys for our small business that is nearby. I can't comment on auto parts because I haven't purchased any here. They open early so I can always swing by and get whatever the guys in the shop need for their current projects. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. I will always choose O'Reilly ahead of Advance Auto. The customer service just rocks here. read more

If I could leave a zero star I would... I've been to this store three times in one day for a simple switch for my aftermarket parts. Each time I visited the store the merchandise on the shelf was broken and repackaged. After my third attempt to make things right I showed up to the store and there were underage kids drinking in the parking lot for a full parking lot party. I wouldn't recommend coming here and HIGHLY recommend going to auto zone as they get the job done. read more

We went into the store with a battery still under warranty and was not holding a charge for our boat and the two employees (you know who you are) said wait ten minutes and we will put the battery on our trickle charge device and then we will know what to do next. WaIted ten minutes in our car went back in and nothing was done-left the battery with these two to charge it (they pulled up my account using my phone number so keep this in mind) I took the 20 minute commute home and two hours later I placed a call to the store to inquire about the battery and the guy puts me on what he says for a brief hold which lasted over 25 minute hold while I drove back to the store (still on hold) and the two guys that desperately wanted to avoid honoring my warranty and to provide me with excellent customer service denied that I had even called them UNTIL a totally new employee confirmed that indeed these two knuckleheads left my call on hold and that my friends should tell you everything you need to know about this company‼ I will get my money back now, just expected the store to honor the warranty and do an exchange but NO! What a joke! Bass Pro will get our business! SHAME ON THOSE EMPLOYEES! read more

In a world where you can get anything shipped directly to your house - why do auto parts stores exist? Service. And this place delivers. I have bought windshield wipers many times online and installed them myself. But this time I had a bigger task to do and I needed expert help. My sister's prius had blown a headlight and I needed it fixed, pronto. So I did what I thought was right, called a Toyota dealership service department and got pricing. They told me that they best they could do is $80 to install. He was nice enough to tell me the bulbs it would be cheaper at an auto parts store. So I went to the most convenient one - I had no idea what I was doing. I had to think long and hard to even remember the year the prius was made. That's how clueless I was. Javier helped me pick out the bulbs and was shocked when I told him about the price to install. He insisted that he needed to come out and look. I told Javier that the dealership was going to have to take the front bumper off and I didn't want him to cut his hand reaching around to get in there. Javier took it as a personal challenge to install that bulb right then and there. I watched the magic happen -it took a long 2 minutes- and I was so grateful. I asked if I could tip him or pay him in someway and he just laughed and wouldn't accept it. But he saved me $80 and tons of my time! No more ordering parts online. This is at least my third visit here. It was a joy spending my $10 coupon from Durham Bulls outing on 2 gallons of windshield wiper fluid and 3 key carabiners. Very polite, helpful & friendly (cost me $1.49 to pay sales tax & get over $10 minimum) By far my favorite local auto parts store! read more

Brett helped me replace a headlight on my Prius. He worked patiently for a long time jamming his fingers into a very tight space with occasional support from other employees. I would never have been able to make this 'simple' repair on my own. And O'Reilly did it all without charging me. Outstanding!!! read more

I have tried to purchase parts here on 3 occasions. They have sold me the wrong part every single time. The worst case was when I went in for a relay. The box they gave me had the right part number on it, but the relay inside ended up being the wrong part (part number on the relay didn't match part number on the box.) Unfortunately, this incorrect relay was the same shape as the correct one, so I had no way of knowing it was the wrong thing... until I popped it into my car and fried the PCM. Ended up costing me hundreds of dollars, and it would have been thousands to get the dealer to fix it. I will never shop here again. There's a much better competitor within 100 yards. read more

Last time to purchase from this store. Ordered parts around 4:30pm yesterday and was told they would be in at 7:30am, I went to pick them up around 9am today. After a lot of confusion about the parts, and asked when and by who they were ordered, I was told "that's not possible". What, so I lied about a guy having "Manager" on his shirt?
