    Huge Thanks to Ed!…read more What a day, what a day! What started as a quick stop for gas in Cary turned into a full-on car emergency when our vehicle refused to start. After a kind couple's attempt to jump the car didn't work, we were feeling pretty stuck--until we realized we were literally across the street from an O'Reilly Auto Parts. I called the store, and that's when Ed became our hero of the night. Without hesitation, he walked across the street with a jumper and got our car running again. And he didn't stop there! We headed over to the shop, bought a new battery, and Ed even installed it for us right then and there. Ed was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind--exactly the kind of person you hope to run into when your car dies and you're stuck with your plans derailed. I can't thank him enough. He turned a stressful night into a reminder that good people still exist. If you ever need car help in Cary, O'Reilly's is the place to go--and Ed is the guy you want helping you out. Today Chris was in the store. I recognized him from previous visits. He always provides a warm welcome as soon as my feet cross the threshold of the entrance. Chris is an exceptional Auto Parts expert and works very quickly at getting what I need. Chris also takes the time to provide educational details on the different options. I needed a headlight bulb because if it's not a fog light it's my headlight bulbs blowing after a few years. The joys of vehicle ownership! Chris was kind enough to put the bulb in for me. I appreciate the service and the staff here not just this visit but every visit before this. I plan to hold on to this experience and I will return to this location if needed again and I will recommend others. Thank You!

My stepdad is a mechanic and really likes NAPA so when I needed a new air filter and cabin filter, I thought of this place. Well, it was a good thing that I checked on their website for the store hours before heading over because they close a lot earlier than the other auto parts stores (6pm M-F and 4pm Sat). I was not in a rush to get the parts but it is something important to keep in mind. The NAPA store is small in comparison to their competitors but I got exactly what I needed and it was actually a few bucks cheaper than their competitors. It was also pretty cool to hear that the guy checking out at the register next to me had put in an order that morning for a part and it was there by the afternoon for him to pickup. I have generally had a good experience at any auto parts store I have been to (specifically auto parts stores, not tire or mechanic shops) and I don't necessarily have a preference. I like that NAPA had been longstanding in this industry and has been around since 1925. In addition, I believe they specialize in finding the exact part you need verses one that could be universal. Even just for my air filter, the salesman came out to my car to check my engine size. I will continue to go to NAPA unless I have an urgent need and they are closed.

Once I contacted them after seeing a traffic cone warning other drivers of this boulder, they said they would help me. However after repositioning the boulder to avoid further claims they have thrown me under the bus. Great customer service to be sure. Buyer beware doing business with this company. The customer is not always right at this business.

    Because of the final price adjustment, I'm increasing from "3" stars to "4."…read more 1010 did a skilled diagnosis of a Toyota engine computer-based problem. Many shops cannot do this. I appreciated the provision of a nice loaner car, with no hassle getting it. I booked my appointment the day before and drove in early next morning, cautiously, with an engine overheat warning "pull over in safe place" flashing on my dash. They knew this. I arrived opening time 8am. No one contacted me the entire day(!) with a diagnosis/ cost estimate or update of any kind; I was not aware my car would be kept overnight. At 4:50pm, ten minutes before close, I telephoned and was told $2,400(!), it might take 3 days/ 2 nights in the shop. I asked for a detailed estimate and for the second time, gave my email. Still, an estimate was not sent.... That cost estimate was high compared to other mechanics. Standard customer service for an early morning "drop-off" (advance appt.): contact customer by 3pm that day, explain repair, provide a cost estimate for approval. Start work right away, priority to finish if a second day. That did not happen. Nobody seemed to care if it did. For a $200 repair, no big deal- but for $2,000/ 3 days in the shop, IT MATTERS. PRO A loaner car while being repaired repaired with OEM car parts skilled diagnosis of Toyota 24month/ 24,000 mile parts warranty CON left me hanging on diagnosis, repair cost no written description/estimate provided high price compared to competition (corrected at the end) no apology for dropping the ball on service In the end, the actual charge was $1,821.97 which was in line with local estimates, considering the use of OEM parts. I appreciated that adjustment. And it appears they did quality work. Time will tell. Will I go back? Probably not. Lacked valuing me as a high-dollar customer; too much time and drama.
