Came here for an event and NYY was surprisingly above average. It's located in the casino and has both bar and table service. Also, live music starts at 9p. We ordered a Large Caesar salad which was fresh, crispy and would have been good for 3 people.. the salad had croutons which tasted stale but also some large chips of Parmesan. These were a great addition to the salad. Some in our party were raving about the French onion soup, mentioning it as one of the better ones they've tried. Bread service consists of raisin bread and pretzels. Both were good. Tried the wagyu among a few of us as an appetizer, it was tender and pretty good. It's a bit too rich for me to eat a whole one on my own though. We ordered a Fried lobster appetizer. It was good with the included tartar sauce. Now for our mains...We ordered the "triple play" for apps which is an option to choose 3 for a cheaper price. The apps were shareable. The Mac and cheese was a hit and was good for 3+ people. Mushrooms and corn were ok. Steaks must have been cooked in a very hot oven as they had a little crust despite being medium rare. I probably would have preferred a bit less temperature on mine. The desserts were all good. We got the cookie one, a chocolate cake slice and a crème brûlée. The cake was my least fav. Service was attentive and we were well taken care of. Be sure to make reservations if you want to come during prime time. On that note, they use a 3rd party service for reservations and the whole system is terrible. We haven't been here in years and wanted to have dinner before heading into the casino. Service was ok, I didn't find that he came back to check on us enough. We ordered the bacon appetizer which I remember as being amazing...it was not! I actually had to spit out the piece of cold fat. How do you serve bacon and corn bread that is not hot?!? The salad was ok, had these huge cinnamon sugar crumbs that were overpowering, which I pushed aside. We ordered the American Wagyu Ribeye cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The cut was a bit thinner at $90 than I would have expected. Sides were soupy creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and mashed potatoes ... they were just ok. Had family in town and wanted to try this steak place! Must make a reservation! For cocktail starters: lychee ginger martini, and moscato d asti! The complimentary bread basket was delish!pretzel bread, raisin bread, and butter. My favorite was the pretzel bread. Appetizers: we ordered the lobster bisque (meh, bland, salt and pepper was added but didn't do much). Oysters Rockefeller, spinach with cheese, not bad. But a tad bland. We ordered the long bone in ribeye $120, it was more on the chewier side even though we asked for medium rare. I do wished they had some house sauce or steak sauce because the steak was extremely bland. Triple play sides: roasted Brussel sprouts (not bad), garlic mash potatoes (didn't taste the garlic) , and creamed spinach (on the watery side), could've used more flavor for all the sides to be quite honest. Lobster Mac & cheese was good, however, it could use some more of the creamier texture. Lobster tails were good. Staff was great, our servers were up to par. They even packed our to go for us and cleaned the table to set us up for the next plate. The entrees did take awhile to come out, possibly 20+ mins. So just be aware. I travel often so this was a treat to play a little slots at the casino and splurge on dinner with friends. NYY Steak is located inside the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino. This place books up and I reserved a table on a Saturday night, which I could only get a 9:00pm reservation. When my party of 4 was seated, there were only 3 chairs and 2 table settings. There was some confusion and we ended up grabbing the additional chair ourselves. For a high end restaurant, there was no clarity or order. We were not off to a good start. This restaurant is a contemporary modern design and plenty of seating. There's a lead server and an assistant server who were both pleasant. I ordered a glass of red wine and didn't particularly like it. They were nice enough to change it out. I had the French onion soup which was one of the best ones I've had in a while. It was savory, rich, and just the amount of gooey cheese. You weren't overwhelmed by the bread soaked in broth. Next I ordered the filet mignon. Since the sides are à la carte, I chose the Brussels sprouts, asparagus, and salted mushrooms in their trio platter. The filet mignon was really tender but needed a pinch of salt. The asparagus was overcooked and limp. I did like the asparagus better than the salted mushrooms. I think I loved their complimentary basket of assorted bread and pretzels the best. Everything was fresh and piping hot. They had a weird mix of butter flavors so I asked for plain butter. This is a fine dining establishment and was a nice get together with friends, but for the over inflated prices which I expected inside a casino, the loud dining experience and lack of organization may be a reason I wouldn't go back any time soon. read more

We had a great dining experience at NYY on Christmas Eve. The restaurant is beautiful, and the bar is a perfect spot to grab some drinks while waiting to be seated. We ordered the NY strip, and the Delmonico, which were both cooked perfectly, just how we liked it, each packed with flavor and ohhh so tender. The thick cut bacon appetizer is a must, the presentation alone is worth it for the IG pics! The decadent chocolate cake was big enough for 4-6 people! It was moist and very chocolaty! If you are a chocolate lover, you won't be disappointed. Drinks were just as enjoyable, with Macallen 12, and a few glasses of Malbec they both paired perfectly with our meal. Although it's located inside the Coconut Creek Casino, you don't have to embrace gambling to embrace great food. Believe it or not, my favorite dish is their burger, which I like to order when sitting in the bar. Can you order the burger in the dining room? Spent a lovely Mothers Day evening at Legends NYY Steak at Seminole Coconut Casino in Coconut Creek. Served by our exceptional waiter Gustavo. Had an iced Shrimp Cocktail, lettuce wedge salad with creamy blue cheese topped with the best pieces of Blue Cheese around. Finally my go to love Seared SeaBass and if you ask your waiter, it can be served with the best Jasmine rice with tiny shrimp. I found the rice when we ordered seared scallops and the rice is to die for. Ended the evening with Raspberry cheese cake and fresh brewed coffee. Truly a culinary experience. It was busy and the wait staff actually run to keep up with their customers. You have no idea what a lovely restaurant/bar this place is until you try it. Our server Don did his due diligence asking the my Husband's last name and addressed him as such which definitely stood out to me, he was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make us feel like royalty. the low dim lights and set up is luxury and you can even see into the kitchen. the food was cooked perfectly! my husband and i opted for a few of our favorites and it all paired perfectly. we ordered a long bone steak to share and it was cooked the perfect temp. Will say our server Juan was great. Everything that went wrong was not his fault, more on management and kitchen staff. We visited on February 11th with reservations at 7 PM. The restaurant was very busy and we had to wait a little bit for them to accommodate us at a booth since my dad is somewhat handicapped. We ordered some appetizers and a drink, and that came out pretty much within a normal time. Juan informed us of some specials and was very hospitable. So was the young man that was working with him that I cannot remember his name. All I remember was that he was in high school and Venezuelan. Everything after the apps, salad and soup went downhill. By the time my salad was taken from our table. I waited another 40 minutes to receive my ribeye steak and a fish entrée. I ordered my ribeye medium. It was burnt to a crisp on the outside and raw on the inside. I sent it back and asked him to please take it off my check. I could not eat it and I was not going to wait another 40+ minutes for a steak. Many tables around us were experiencing similar situations. I do not see myself going back to this steakhouse. I do want to share that the lobster bisque and the appetizer lobster bites are delicious and very fresh. read more

This fourth time eating here and I could not believe I had not written a review. I just ate at Berns in Tampa a few weeks ago. I find NYY to be allot better. My wife took here to celebrate my birthday. We decided to skip the appetizers so we could have room for dessert. So my daughter had the lamb chops and my wife and I had the porter house for two. The lamb chops, my daughter wouldn't share it with me, but she did give my wife a peice and she said it incredible! Now the porter house for two! The presentation first was unbelievably amazing. Both sides were so tender, it tasted so good, even though it came with a couple of sauces they were not necessary. We also had few side dishes, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and macaroni and cheese. All three were excellent. Dessert!!! They brought me out something with a candle. I didn't eat it because it was orange and our server couldn't didn't know if it was mango. But we did get a piece of chocolate cake. It was big enough for atleast six people. I ate all the berries that it was served with and two bites of the cake. I was full! You walk through the haze of cigarette smoke at the back of a casino and find this polished little steakhouse, gleaming like it wants to be taken seriously. Take a seat at the bar; nice setting, clean menu, no complaints there. Martini: Spot on. Ice cold, properly poured, generous. That's how you start. Then comes the bread basket. What a tragedy. Two stale pretzels and a raisin roll that looks like it's been sat out since last Tuesday. Thank God for the seasoned butter, or else you'd be chewing cardboard. The Caesar--don't get me started. A Caesar should punch you in the mouth with garlic, whisper anchovy in the background, and slap you with umami. Instead, this was limp, bland, utterly lifeless. And the Parmesan? Not fresh, not even close. Straight out of a bloody Kraft can. Embarrassing. Prime rib arrives. Large cut, very generous. You think, "Finally, redemption!" But no--bit on the tough side, chewing like you're in a bloody arm-wrestle with the cow. This is prime rib, not jerky. Look, maybe it was an off night, maybe the kitchen was distracted, but food like this doesn't earn a second chance. Martini aside, I wouldn't eat here again. read more

We finally tried NYY Steak at the Coconut Creek Casino after hearing about it for years. We've been to steakhouses from Boca to NYC, and were curious how this one would stack up. It's a sleek, upscale space with live music in the lounge overlooking the casino. Heads-up: the casino is still mostly smoking, and you can smell it walking through. We started with the fried lobster (huge portion and very good), wedge and chopped salads, and a basket of warm pretzels and raisin bread with herbed butter--really solid starters. I tried three cocktails (rosemary mule, cucumber mojito, and a coconut vodka drink). All were fine but not memorable. Their scotch list is impressive--we ordered a Lagavulin neat, and it was \$33 for a 1 oz pour. For mains, we had the bone-in American Wagyu ribeye and the petite filet. My dad's ribeye came out too rare but was corrected. My filet was cooked perfectly (medium rare plus), tender and flavorful. It reminded me more of a good cut from J. Alexander's than a standout steakhouse filet. The ribeye was flavorful but very fatty--might try the Delmonico next time. We shared mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and jumbo asparagus. Mashed potatoes were great. The spinach and asparagus came covered in parmesan, which wasn't listed. We asked for plain asparagus, and our server quickly fixed it. The spinach was just okay. Dessert was the highlight--we got the flambéed volcano-style dish with crispy toffee and ice cream lit on fire tableside. It was excellent and great for sharing. They also brought a small flan-like dessert for my husband's birthday, which was a nice touch. Service was excellent--timing was on point and the staff was friendly. We were seated on time, got our booth request, and had a good view of the kitchen. Only drawback: no restrooms inside the restaurant--you have to walk into the smoky casino to use them. Overall, NYY Steak delivered a good experience. The food was solid, the atmosphere was lively, and service was strong. It didn't blow me away, but I'm glad we tried it. Probably wouldn't rush back, but if you want a nice steakhouse in a casino setting, it's a solid option. read more

The disappointing part is we were waiting for our waiter who never came so we decided this wasn't going to be a good experience and decided to get up and leave after 30+ Minutes. Every experience at NYY steak has been great. I stopped in for brunch because I've enjoyed some of their vegetarian items before, such as brussels sprouts. I sat down in the early afternoon and was approached by a bartender, at the bar area instead of the dining room. That's the one I learned that the full menu was unavailable doing brunch for lunch hours my death and I ended up ordering a vegetable omelette and a salad with no bacon. Although they didn't have exactly what we wanted. The food we ordered was delicious and nicely prepared. The staff was extremely polite and we made jokes about the menu selection which they said they bring up to the manager. I hope they do, I'd truly love to have some of the regular items earlier in the day. The atmosphere was very light and relaxed as their clientele started to pick up. We ordered the seafood tower, Tuna tartare, Caesar salad with chicken, Salad with candied walnuts, and a New York strip. All of it was great. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Dinner reservations for 2 at 8:15 Saturday 1/30/26. We were seated promply greeted by staff at the table with water preference., ordered a glass of wine that came 15 minutes later. Order our meals and sat for 1 hour before it was served. We ordered a seafood tower to share and a steak along with creamed spinach on the side. When I tried to get the waiters attention to ask why the delay he always walked by quickly and never made eye contact. What a great restaurant. My wife and I went with friends and it was our first time visiting NYY steak. I will say it was absolutely delicious from beginning to end. First off the service and serves were excellent. Very friendly, not rushed and very accommodating. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside. I liked the open kitchen concept and although the restaurant was very busy, we did not feel crowded at our table. As for the food. WOW!!!!! Their signature bacon was ridiculously good. So much flavor, crispy but still tender and juicy. It's served hanging over cornbread. The cornbread soaks up all the drippings from the bacon and when you eat it, it's like heaven. The fried lobster was another hit. Great flavor, not overcooked. It was just so good. The pork chop was up there with one of the best I ever had. Cooked perfectly. It had a great crust and the meat was full of flavor, very juicy and a huge portion for the money. My wife had the Sea bass. The presentation was beautiful. The flavor was outstanding and again for the price you get a nice portion. Definitely a return spot. I will absolutely say this is up there with one of the best steak restaurants we have been to. Visited NYY Steak last night with my husband for our anniversary. The food, and service were absolutely impressive. We both had filets, I added the maytag blue cheese crust to mine. Decadent and delicious. For our sides we had the lobster mac and cheese and the creamed corn. The mac and cheese although delicious, barely had any lobster in it, so next time I'll just order the regular one. The creamed corn came late, and was not creamy at all. Just a soupy mess of a dish. I'll pass. Our servers were super attentive and came by often but not annoyingly often. I felt very well taken care of. Ambiance is ok. The dining room is spacious and they have an open kitchen concept. The casino in which the restaurant is located is smoke filled and trashy. Great steakhouse, not so great location. We wanted to grab a drink before our table was ready but it wasn't possible because all the seats at the bar were filled with people dining and we were told we had to stay in line in the casino side if we wanted a drink. Didn't want to do that so we passed. Will I go back? Absolutely. Perhaps not for a special occasion.
