Most weekends I treat the grandkids and grandma to a delicious dinner at the TEXAS ROAD HOUSE in Coconut Creek, Florida. But due to a previous appointment, I brought everybody on a Tuesday night, OCT 6th, and noticed that there were more 'kids' than usual. Anyway, we sat down to the most anticipated 'signature' hot rolls with honey butter, and I ordered Prime Rib all around. While we were waiting for our dinner, a cute woman with strange balloon animals on her wrists and shoulders appeared and asked if we wanted a balloon creation. The kids eyes widened, (mine too) so I said "go for it! Well, amazingly, she quickly twisted a bunch of balloons into incredible, complicated, animals right before our eyes! But the best part was how she engaged and entertained us all while joking and twisting away. What a show! Her timing was perfect, and our food came right when her performance was over. The kids got crazy balloons, grandma got a silly balloon flower, and she even gave the kids unique silly toys! All I got was a great meal and the dinner bill. Everyone at the table agreed that the entertainment supplied by the restaurant made our visit EXTRA SPECIAL for sure. First time coming here and it was a great experience. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, during peak sports hours. The restaurant was very packed very loud and lots of customers going and coming all at once. Nevertheless, we were seated within five minutes of arriving. The staff here were all friendly and very welcoming, our server Nick was awesome, he had such a warm and caring attitude, and super friendly, he stood by our table for a while and my boyfriend spoke about football. He took our drink orders, an appetizer order, and then when he arrived with the appetizer, we both placed an order for our main. We did the three combo appetizer platter, and we chose the potato skins, the boneless chicken wings, and the snake bites. The boneless wings were definite hit. They were actually really good, I usually do not like boneless wings because to me they are just nuggets, but these were really good, the snake bites were also very good and we did like them a lot. The potato skins, not so great. For my main, I ordered the half rib slab, and Jason ordered the grilled chicken with a side order of corn and mashed potato. The ribs were tender and fall off the bone, just like the menu says.. I had a side order of the chili along with a baked sweet potato, both were great. The food here was very enjoyable, the atmosphere is loud and lots of country music playing in the background, and I would definitely come back. I have never been here before, but I always remember people telling me that when you go to this restaurant, they serve peanuts at your table and customers can just drop the shelves on the floor. So apparently overtime they stopped doing this and customers are now presented a small bag of raw peanuts, and the shells are discarded in the little bucket on top of the table. I was able to bring my little bag of peanuts home, and you can say that I do have some happy squirrels outside now. lol read more

Came for lunch with a friend . The have special prices before dinner. I ordered the pork chop with a sweet potato with the sweet butter and brown sugar yum, and buttered mushrooms. The rolls were brought to the table pretty quick . They are so good , I'm not going lie lol. I ate all of them before my friend arrived and they brought another basket for her when she arrived . The service is always good . She came by the table several times to see how we were doing and cleaned up whenever we were finished with a dish. They are always dancing to some music which puts on a show for the customers and I guess also puts them in a good mood while working by having a little break with fun. Listen I know TR is a chain and I try to eat at local spots mostly, but man this was delicious! Lol! We were visiting the area and this is where everyone wanted to come, who am I to object, we jumped in the car. It was slammed busy but yet still seated immediately and drink in hand in a few minutes! It's the little touches that TR does that sets it apart and notch above, my grilled chicken had been cooked perfectly and the grilled lemon added that perfect tang! This was my 2nd time here for lunch, and it was just as good as the first. My sister and I started with salads, and I really liked their homemade Italian dressing. We shared the Roadhouse Churrasco, and the sliced flat iron steak was cooked perfectly. I loved this. We were able to sub another side for the rice, so we got another salad. Between the salads and baked potato, one meal was more than enough for the two of us, and I appreciated that there wasn't a sharing charge. Took my mom here for her birthday after not having dined here for a few years and I would definitely go back. What mom wants, mom gets!!' What she didn't know was that she would also be riding the birthday saddle as they did they chant to her so that was a fun experience. The bread "delicious" the, I ordered the filet mignon which is called some types of Dallas mignon as a nod to Texas and it was impeccable. The four of us know that Texas Roadhouse food is good in New Hampshire and this is a first for us to try the chain in Florida. It was peak hours and the wait time was 50 minutes. Normally I would never wait this long to eat however, we are on vacation and curious to see if the quality and consistency would be there. And with so many people on the waitlist we were betting it would be. We were right! This is why so many flock to Texas Roadhouse. The quality and value for the money is exceptional. We thought Michelle our waitress was fantastic. She was fast, friendly and polite as well as professional. The ambiance is loud and that sports bar feel. Texas Roadhouse provides a quality product for a very reasonable price. We also appreciate that they care for our military service members by providing a discount. It is very much appreciated. Despite we had to wait over 30 minutes for a table, it was worth it. The bread was hot and tasty, I had 2 of it. I had grilled salmon with two sides, sweet potato and fresh vegetables (carrots and broccoli). The salmon cooked just right, sweet potato was hot, soft, and sweet. Fresh vegetables steamed just right, still crunchy to my liking. I don't like over cooked veggies. Hubby had a ribeye, but it's over cooked and burnt, he had to send it back. Came to Texas Roadhouse for my sister's birthday because she is: (1) a big steak fan and (2) an even bigger Texas Roadhouse fan. And for good reason. Right away service was fantastic, from the hostesses at the front, to our waitress and the other servers who sang (or should I say Yeehawed) happy birthday at the end of our meal. Plus, you really get a bang for your buck here. We got the cactus blossom to share which was seasoned perfectly and nicely crisped, along with their house biscuits and delicious sweet butter. Texas Roadhouse is a solid 10/10 every single time. Whenever I'm craving an affordable steak that doesn't disappoint, this is my go to spot. The steak was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The sweet potato was absolutely delicious, I love that they top it with marshmallows, which adds the perfect touch of sweetness. I came to this restaurant on a Sunday evening and it was super busy. As soon as I arrived I scan the barcode by the front door to get on the waitlist. I waited for about 45 minutes but it was well worth it. Sam was the server for my mom and I and he was fantastic. He was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the ribeye with rice and a salad. I also ordered 6 shrimp for an up charge. The salad was sooo delicious, I usually ask for the dressing on the side but I am happy that I didn't. My food was so delicious and satisfying. Sam even was part of the line dancing they do every 30 minutes or so. My favorite part is the free unlimited breads with the sweet butter and the free peanut bags. Went here on a Saturday evening and there was a long wait. We were able to get two seats at the bar, but had to wait for that also, because the self-seating area is not that large. The bartender was very nice and saw that we were hovering and let us know that the spots would be available very soon. I ordered the salmon, and my two sides of mashed potatoes and corn. The salmon was good but I've had better. Same with the mashed potatoes. The corn was very tasty. They had breaks were they turn the music louder and the staff does some line-dancing. I also received an email that said my seat was already at 6:15 and I didn't get seated until 6:40. The manager came by. They sat my husband and I at a tiny booth when there were open large booths right across the aisle and I should have insisted because the table was way too small. Our server was pleasant and attentive. We started with two margaritas with patron kickers. My husband got the hurricane and I got the classic - both delicious. We got the cactus blossom and it was perfect. For dinner, my husband got a sirloin with a sweet potato and applesauce. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal. I got a 16 ounce prime rib with sweet potato and corn. The prime rib was melt in your mouth tender and flavorful and the sweet potato with cinnamon butter was to die for. A great meal for under $100. If you can tolerate bad service with good food this may be an option. It is a hard "no more than Once every nine months" option for me. My server, the make bartender who was On Duty with a female teacher, even refused to say "thank you." Before that, no greet and the part where I ordered was him asking in an annoyed voice "you ready?" He did explain when I asked for a small amount of bread t hat "it has to be 4 breads" and he'd "throw away" the bread I don't eat. Seems wasteful. Clearly not his policy but corporate policy to serve breads or No Bread per person. Very loud. The menu is so plentiful I can't begin to tell you. They have valet parking, which we did not use. Strongest 5 star review I've given out in years. No doubt about it. The food, prices, quality, and service were phenomenal. Craziest part is literally every table was taken, with dozens of people outside waiting. When I arrived and saw the dozens waiting I figured it would be a crazy house. When they said it would be a 5-15 minute wait I laughed, and considered other options as this clearly was a joke. They had the great idea of having an outside hostess. This eliminated new arrivals from going inside and cluttering the entrance to be put on a waiting list or checking where they're at in line. Genius move and it really did help keep things organized. Reminding you this is a full house, literally ever table taken and dozens outside. We were quickly sat at a clean table with menus, peanuts, and a bucket waiting. Almost immediately asked if we wanted app's or drinks. Our party of 3 ordered 2 drinks each and within 3 minutes all 6 drinks arrived. We ordered our food, and they served it, but in a practical way. First, they brought out awesome bread and butter. Texas roadhouse style so you know its basically like dessert bread. Europe would likely consider it cake-bread based on nutrition, but I approve. Instead of asking a dumb question "Do you want your side salad served first or with your steak?" they just assumed, and they were right. All of our salads came out first, assembled correctly, and my favorite cherry on top was they were served on ice cold frozen plates and with a small cup of more than enough dressing. Decent salad, but couldn't have been served better. I dont know how many patrons they had but to have lets guess 300 frozen salad plates ready to serve people super awesome and super cheap salads is impressive. Steak was slightly overcooked but that was user error. I didn't want to order too rare and make a fool of myself asking it to be recooked. But I got exactly what I ordered. It was good. Their steak sauce was good. The price is incredible. (on weds, $16 for an 8 oz sirloin, with an awesome salad and baked sweet potato). The ambiance is that of a loud, bustling western saloon. I enjoyed seeing the fresh meat in the glass case and the fresh bread going out as you walk in. We arrived with a party of 12, and there seemed to be some kind of confusion with the way we were supposed to check in. There was a check-in person both outside and inside. We checked in outside but the person inside wasn't aware so we weren't actually checked in. We waited about an hour to be sat, after they required a headcount. This alone took it down 1.5 stars for me, but I don't want to remove 2 for that. Once we did get sat, our server Jaime was excellent. She was friendly and attentive. The service was a bit slow because the restaurant was packed and we were a party of 12, so it's understandable. I loved the free roasted peanuts and of course the free buttered bread. You could almost just have those and a small salad and be satisfied! I really wanted some red meat though, so I had the filet with a loaded potato and a side Caesar. The filet was perfectly cooked and scrumptious. The Caesar was also good and the potato was average. I forgot to ask for the potato without salt on the jacket, so that's on me. Everyone enjoyed their food and their cocktails. They make the servers do random dances in the middle of the dining room during certain songs. We also had a birthday and they brought out a saddle for the birthday girl to sit on while we all yeehawed at her. Overall it was a good time, but we got there at 6:30pm and didn't leave until 9pm. Met a buddy to have lunch and watch the Gator game yesterday. Food was very good. I had the Roadkill dish, chopped steak smothered with sauteed onions mushrooms and lots of cheese. Yummy! The service was fantastic. Colleen, at the bar, was superb. Friendly, quick, helpful, and pretty funny too. She gave her opinion about my food decision and kept my drink full the whole time.
