    Gin & Basil drink

"New" Dinner & a Movie place, and it's close to home. Great! Let's go give it a try... Movie started at 9:30pm, we had reservations at the restaurant at 7:30pm. Plenty of time. As soon as we sat down we were asked if we were watching a movie, so they could make sure to get everything out in time for us not to miss it. We were also told we could bring whatever we wanted from the restaurant into the movie theatre, drinks, food... good deal! First thing we noticed was that our table was wobbly, so we moved to the next one... same problem. So, we were careful and got it to stay still most of the time. I started with a gin and basil drink. It was tasty, generous size, but really strong. I was not able to finish it. Between the burger and the Cuban sandwich, our server recommended the burger. Personally I would pass on this next time. Nothing special about it and the meat was lacking flavor. The truffle fries were good. My sister ordered one of their sandwiches and this looked really good. Perfectly pressed, melted cheese, and looked fresh. It came with fries, which were good, and she also ordered a side of mofongo (being from PR we HAD TO try it). It's not as my grandfather's mofongo but it was pretty good considering they are not from Puerto Rico. Only thing is that, just like my burger, it was bland. We had to add salt. For dessert they had a special of fried Oreos. I did not even look at the rest of the dessert menu as I know this is one of my sister's favorite things. So we ordered those. 5 come to the order, warm, and delicious. We took these to snack on during the movie, and even though the meal wasn't perfect, we did leave satisfied and willing to give them another try. You can tell they are new, and they try very hard to please, plus the restaurant is nice and comfortable. Really hope I can add one or more stars on my next visit. As of right now, they are A-OK!

All the restaurants in the Promenade had a wait time of 40 min to 1 1/2 hours, so we walked over to this restaurant to give it a try. There was no wait, we were seated immediately. We were asked if we were viewing a movie this evening, which we were not. We were a party of five. We had the pretzel bites with beer cheese. The beer cheese was so good. Also had the margarita pizza, hamburger, fish tacos chicken tenders with fries and a kitchen sink for dessert. The kitchen sink is a brownie with ice cream. Everyone at the table said their entree was tasty. I had a sample of the beer cheese, fries and the fish tacos. They all had a nice flavor. I have to say I was a bit nervous every when I sat down, and checked into Yelp for this place. They only have a handful of reviews giving them a three star rating. It made me wonder how good could the food be at a movie theatre. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. It was not gourmet, however it did taste good. Service was pleasant, the waitress was sweet and funny. The food was a little slow coming out, but we were in no rush so it worked out. If you go try the pretzels and beer cheese. Enjoy!

Movie theatre food. High prices and mediocre dishes. Ordered a beer and a pepperoni pizza, nothing special. For some reason was priced $14 but was $10 on the bill. Don't ask me how, not too upset about it. The pizza is incredibly thin, almost looks like a child made it with shredded cheese and limited sauce. It wasn't terrible though, I wouldn't come back before a movie, I would go to the other restaurants in the Promenade. They are much better.

Taste: pretty good, actually! Service: slow as molasses Decor: fine, open to bar and theater lobby Price for quality: tad high, but not too bad Beers: nothing good, but World of Beer in across the street! We stood at the host's podium for a good 5 minutes and were about to forget this joint before a young guy came over to seat us- no apology or explanation for why it took so long. After we sat it was another few minutes before the waitress came over with bottles of cold but clearly unfiltered tap water (so stinky we ordered sodas just to be able to wet our whistles). We were asked if we were going to see movie, which is nice except if you're not and are honest about it, apparently your order is low priority and takes forever....I guess just being hungry isn't reason enough to be fed promptly. The pizza was actually pretty tasty, if smallish; same deal with the portobello burger...very tasty, actually. OuR waitress was honest about the key lime pie being frozen, so we skipped desert, but appreciated her forthright info. Other than the wait and the wait and then the wait, the dinner was ok.

This place has some really great food and a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Alas it lacks a craft beer selection and the bloody marys aren't very good. The blt lobster is very good.

Went here several times before but only got drinks. They do make very good and strong drinks. I had food for the first time yesterday and got the loaded nachos. They are huge and definitely suitable for 3-4 people. Will definitely go here again.

Their lunch menu is very minimal. Firegrills idea of a top sirloin steak is two skirt steaks stacked on top of each other and I'd say about 20% - 30% of the steaks themselves were just inedible fat. They do have an option of just the skirt steak and I'm pretty curious to know if their Skirt Steaks are just one of these? Drink machine was down so it was lemonade or canned beverages, not too big of a deal, lemonade was nice and refreshing, the environment and decor inside was pleasant. Shots of tequila are on the higher dollar sign in my opinion, coming in at just under $15 a shot. Total expense for lunch was just over $70 not including tip. Likely will not be returning to try their dinner options unfortunately. I feel that the owner has a misunderstanding of top sirloin steak and I just can't shake that thought. I understand that skirt steak is more affordable but I do not believe you can just stack two thin steaks on top of one another and call it your 8oz Top Sirloin Steak. The menu will not tell you the size of the steaks, I asked what the weight of the top sirloin was and I was told it's 8oz. Attached to this review is the receipt and steak from the meal, my wife's only complaint on her sandwich was that it was chewy, tasty but a bit too chewy.

I think the hot honey sauce that bar Louie has is fantastic. It's spicy yet also sweet and when the chicken tenders are tossed in it, it really makes one of the best dishes. The pepperoni flatbread is also really good. It's basic yeah it's hard to mess up. The spinach and artichoke dip is also a great option. Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it.

After we were approached twice, still unsure of what we wanted, we were then neglected for at least ten minutes. Our appetizers arrived and still no one had come to get our entree order. The menu is fairly small, and the items are quite pricey. You know what else was small? The drinks! For $18 I want to hold a drink that fills my hand. Was it good, yeah; but it wasn't life changing. We ordered some scrumptious rosemary focaccia and lemon garlic olives to start; my husband chose the Korean Fried Chicken and I opted for the pappardelle bolognese for our main course. Both dishes were tasty, but I don't think either one was reasonably priced at $34. We opted to skip dessert after watching everyone around us receive their meals before us; and only at this time did our waiter seem to become more attentive. So we went at 7pm on a Wednesday. What's playing on TV was not available, was told to use QR code, so easy peasy. So the counter staff was pleasantly, we ordered: rabbit hole salad and the patty melt to go. Maybe should be eaten there, right away. Didn't stand up to a quick ride home. BOTH meals looked sad and not worth $50, as was $20 each, gave $3 tip for to go. Probably won't return! It's probably great for vegans who don't require quality or taste, just gut it out to remain vegan. Salad had no flavor really, it was " overdressed", just kale dressed in an underwhelming sauce. Tons of it where it was soggy. Chips of fake chicken I guess, that was flavorless. Partners patty melt was just so so. I'm sad! You ever wanted to really like something, so you force it. We love going to local spots to support folks but we demand excellence. I wasn't expecting Coopers HAWK, but wanted some flavor. It's like not even as good as Whole Foods, which is pricey like this but good. Patty melt was average, and not worth $20. The onions saved it, but too expensive for us. Fries were limp, not well made. Now I will say, we do go to dives, so we didn't need Sonness (by the way Sonness is beyond fab!). So, we can do " dive vegan" but we cant do expensive average. It survives because often the beach crowds are too tipsy or high to care, or average is OK due to being snowbirds. Im sure these reviews aren't fake, so will chop this up to a bad night for the cooks! Stop by if you are vegan, committed to this lifestyle, then its good enough. We are in good shape medically, have more allegiance to our wallet than a movement. My partner makes great, fresh salads, so I can stay home for below average greens. But if you are committed and need to just get out, try it. I think a vegan frozen meal, Amy's is better. The salad wasn't horrible, just not worth the price. $20 for soggy, no flavor. Nope! I need flavor, price, freshness mix. Also they could do better with the ambiance. When you walk up, it seemed sad. It was empty, but zero personality. They need some music, it was quiet, somewhat moodless! Even dives have a little music. Rabbits have music LOL! Wish them luck! They have been around a while, so maybe they had better days! Why show stuff on TV that's not offered, pretty photos but disappointing for us. Good news, they are surrounded by great things, Italian to the right, Max to the left, pizza to the left. And Foundry at the end of other side! Partner ate half burger, trashed it. I ate 1/4 salad, trash. $50 in the garbage. I gotta laugh as we sat in our couch, we walked in and after 10 min, the energy felt off to me. We read the menu first. I said to my mate, "let's go elsewhere" after staff said, don't have this or that. My mate said, lets see. I went along. Intuition is never wrong! Trust yout gut, give it a try! Maybe tonight was just an off night! Go try it! Maybe it will be better for you! Im sure those reviews are real but maybe that real cook was off, amd we ended up with the no talent crew!
