Thank you to John Z for our "adventure" today and a lovely lunch. John had read about this place in the coconut creek magazine and we were game to try it with him. It's not located in the most accessible strip center, but it's not that hard to find. We got there a bit before noon hoping to beat the lunch "rush" and although it got a bit busier later, I don't think it's really been discovered yet. You can order a sandwich or a plate or for lunch their buffet. After looking at the options, I decided on the buffet in order to try more items. Prices are quite reasonable. Drinks are additional. You pay after you eat. The side buffet had everything from hard boiled eggs to pasta. I tried some of the salad fixings, plantains, white rice, French fries, penne pasta, and black beans. I liked the plantains and the rice the best. Also by the side bar are the plates (both plastic and to go ones), silverware (metal and plastic), napkins, hot sauce, ketchup, bbq sauce, etc. You go up to the meat counter and they give you whatever types of meat you like. I tried two types of steak and two types of ribs. I didn't try their chicken or sausage. They slice the meat off of cooking skewers. You use tongs to put it on your plate. I loved their tender skirt steak and really liked their sirloin/pincanha. The sirloin was a bit rare to my taste, so they cooked it on the grill for me for a bit more time. We asked and found out that the only desert they had today (which I assume is also extra but not sure) was cheesecake. There are a few others listed on the illuminated menu This place is definitely for the meat lovers out there. And for the price, once the locals discover this place, they should do quite well. They're still relatively new and it's a no frills atmosphere. So, don't come for the ambiance, come for the steak!

Very disappointing amount of meat when we just orders for delivery. Used to order often for pickup and portion is normally double of what was received today.

BOGO Sushi on Thursday live music very good ambience! Prices are very reasonable!

Very good ambience. Ricardo was very good at answering the phone and giving us details and making our reservation. Very polite! Our waitress Raiane, was super attentive and was very nice with a smile served us very well. And when I mentioned the sushi was with the shell she right away made another one without question even though I was not expecting it. The music is also very good! Natasha is the singer of the night and her vocals are amazing! Want to know when country music is playing because I'll definitely be back. Their food is perfect! Like I mentioned, the sushi is on sweet side. I ordered Dragon roll and we came on BOGO night, they brought both Toklas at once which I didn't expect but it was double the pleasure, I'm a foodie so it was very good. But be ware if your in to Japanese style sushi, it will not be the same! It's a culture good made Brazilian style. So unless you had sushi in Brazil do not complain! No rice vinegar on their rice based on my taste buds, and lots of mayo on everything. Marinated in mayo the salmon. I really like it because I lived in Brazil for a year and know what to expect, but if you are looking for Japanese style, order something else. I came for Brazilian sushi, my husband ordered the picanha and mandioca on Chapa, which came sizzling hot, and tasted amazing with onions grilled on top! Omg delish!!! we also got a beer bucket, and listened to great music. They dimmed the lights making the ambience very lounge style at 10:30 pm which was a BONUS because we wanted a date night but our son was with us, and we got both! Over all this will be our place from now on. I just need to find out when they will play sertanejo, as the waitress said they don't have a specific night for it. Can't wait to be back! PS BOGO is only for sushi menu.

Love this place. It's affordable and the food is great. I usually get the $10 special which includes a meat, two sides and a drink.

Even with low sugar and less fat, people care about flavor. The vanilla yogurt is creamy and tangy, more like traditional Greek yogurt than overly sweet frozen desserts. I ordered the vanilla in a kids size cup with berry topping and granola. Each cup comes with 2 toppings to choose from. The size was just about right for me. They do offer 3 size cups(kids size, classic and signature). They offer a good range of toppings, from fresh fruit to crunchy granola or even chocolate. The inside had a nice decor that was clean and modern. I recommend you check the hours beforehand because during the week it opens at 3:00pm and weekends at 1:00pm until 10:00 at night. The service and staff were helpful and kind. They let me sample the yogurt before I bought. Plus, there was a new flavor to try. I definitely recommend and will definitely be back soon!

We've been visiting since their old location, and I was so happy to see them move into their beautiful new space. We'll definitely be stopping by again soon. The pastries and desserts are beautifully made (many created by the owner herself), and everything tastes just as amazing as it looks. My personal favorite was the lemon-shaped pastry -- it looked so incredibly realistic, almost too pretty to eat, and it was absolutely delicious. Their coffee is always excellent, the staff is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and elegant. I also love the little details, like how they serve tea with a tiny dried flower bouquet -- such a thoughtful and aesthetic touch. "Oh my god- they have the fruit that's going viral on TikTok. We have to try it!" I'm not one to say no to a 15 year old for anything that's going viral on TikTok so stepped inside this adorable cafe and placed an order for the viral mango. I almost passed out when they rang me up for $18 for a tiny dessert, but I guess it is famous. They put it on a plate at the register and when I reached for it said "oh we'll bring it to you." Perhaps the handing of the pastry is part of the $18 fee. We found a table and 30 seconds later the infamous mango appeared in front of us. It took us about 3 minutes to eat and it was tasty- a hard shell, mango inside and maybe some custard. We both decided it was very good, but not $18 good. I"m glad we tried it, but I probably wouldn't get the viral fruit again for the price alone. However, I did find this cafe to be adorable and would stop back in here the next time I'm in Atlantic Avenue for other treats. Hopefully the non viral pastries aren't priced quite as high.

Pure sugar chaos, childhood nostalgia, and theatrical madness in Coral Springs…read more Walking into Cherry Smash feels like you accidentally stepped into the opening scene of Willy Wonka, right before someone starts singing and a child learns a moral lesson. This place is a local legend, and for good reason. Cherry Smash isn't trying to be sleek, minimalist, or Instagram-neutral. It's loud, colorful, joyful, and slightly unhinged--in the way candy shops should be. You half expect Charlie Bucket to walk in clutching a chocolate bar and a dream. Let's be honest about the ice cream: It's above average. Solid. Creamy. Well executed. No complaints. But that's not why people line up. You come here for the atmosphere. Walls stacked with candy. Colors everywhere. The kind of visual overload that makes adults nostalgic and kids vibrate at unsafe frequencies. And when Halloween hits? Forget it. Cherry Smash decorates like they take October personally. Seasonal commitment at Broadway-production levels. The candy selection is elite--classic, modern, obscure, and delightfully questionable. Yes, they have bubble gum cigarettes, which feel like a time capsule from an era when adults shrugged and said, "Eh, they'll be fine." It's kitschy, it's ridiculous, and it absolutely belongs here. Seating is limited, but honestly? That's part of the charm. This isn't a linger-for-hours café. It's a pop-in, light-up-your-inner-child, grab-something-sweet-and-go experience. The kind of place where standing is acceptable because you're too busy smiling anyway. Cherry Smash isn't just an ice cream shop--it's a mood, a memory, and a permission slip to enjoy something unapologetically fun in a world that desperately needs more of that.

There's seating off the right side of the shop and a few towards the back. They have a very wide selection of ice cream flavors. I settled for a dulce deleche, and it was just ok.
